We look at the shadowy organization at the University of Alabama known only as The Machine. You can listen to the Greek Gods podcast on iTunes and Google Play. Or download it at www.al.com/rec...
You completely gloss over the fact that The Machine’s underhanded actions were centered around integration. You also completely slip over who the founders were & that they went on to very powerful positions and were prominent pro segregation.
Honestly, I’m disgusted. As an Alabama alumni, this video is nothing but 100% horse shit. So downplayed. This needs to be taken down. If you’re going to cover the machine, don’t tiptoe around who they ACTUALLY are. Thanks!
This does nor surprise me one bit. Their are tons of movies 🎥/tv movies (the skulls ) based on true events about secret societies, and people in power and such things . Interesting to say the least.
The Machine is about as important as the chess club at LSU. Unlike what Bama people like to think, it has no bearing on anything imporant. It holds as much weight as the $5 starbucks gift card in my wallet. Lol at thinking a group that wants to control homecoming queen is a vital underground society. # 21% yield rate haha
I’m assuming that you watched the barstool sports video due to the fact you mentioned homecoming queen. The machine controls a lot more than just that though, and it’s silly to think otherwise. I think they (the machine) have definitely lost some relevancy in the past couple of decades. That is only because more non-Greek UA students are voting. But I think that they are pretty much just a voting block at this point because they have endorsed woman and black candidates (for sga pres.) One of the main reasons the machine is seen as evil is due to their racist views, as they started out as all white fraternities. And they haven’t really done anything awful like burn crosses, assault ppl, or wiretapping in the past 20 yrs or so to my knowledge. I mention these things because these are things they have done in the past.
Anyone else here after the bama documentary🤣
Yes 😂
I thought they were talking about Bert
“Arson” oh you mean burning crosses on the front yards of black sororities and fraternities
That’s arson dumbass
@@thedon897 I was gonna just say "exactly" but thank you for beating me to it.

Wow! Lol I clicked on here to figure out how are they gonna downplay this, and I’m astounded lol
The Music says it all.
A drunken comedian and his russian antics eh?
1:17 wtf...
Ye same I thought that 😂
I just like looking at the pics of the girls running at the sorority bid days

Alabama: the state nobody else goes to, or wants to. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll secede, again.
I mean a lot of people go to college there. They got a really good medical college in Birmingham.
