You dont have to do all of the cypher hidden gymnastics to hide a prophecy until its fulfillment in order to fend off objections
You just have to have a series of way too specific prophecies and then preserve a handful of manuscripts from before it was written. That's all you have to do.
Or we can do the puzzle game I guess...

My speculation: After Jesus' Resurrection, Jesus spent time with the disciples. And it seems all the OT writings fell into place for them. The non-Messianic Jews have attempted to ignore all of this - of course - but what if Jesus spread the light of insight upon the disciples and they all realized what was really going on and what they had missed previously. Their Aha! moments.

This guy must think every novel or film sequel is a fulfillment of prophecy.

It would depend on how well the sequel was set up in the originals.
Good foreshadowing=one unified literary vision from the beginning, =1 author
Lack of foreshadowing and the sequel is kind of tacked on (eg: “somehow palpatine returned) would indicate lack of unity in authorship, or at least that the sequel wasn’t planned from the beginning.
The same principles would hold when trying to discover if there was a divine author behind the events in the real world.
We would expect anything claiming to be a “sequel” by the same author to 1.) fulfill any explicit promises or foreshadowing the author set up in book 1. (aka explicit prophecies), but 2.) we would also expect the sequel to go back and bring out more meaning in the first book. Eg: “Typology” foreshadowing of Jesus in Joseph’s life or in the Binding of Isaac story.
While any author making a fake sequel would at least try to match the type #1 prophecies, it would be much harder to connect with dozens of different characters, rituals, and themes at the same time.
If a “sequel” does both these then you have strong reason to suspect it was written by 1 author who had both books in mind from the beginning, neatly explaining how book 2 matches everything explicit and implicit in book 1 so we’ll.
If it happens in history, that points to God.

There are no Prophesies in the Bible

I have read what Jews have said about Christian interpretations of the Hebrew Bible. I have also read what a famous or rather infamous Harvard seminarian wrote in the early 1800s regarding such so called prophecies from the Old Testament and how they did not point to the truth of Christianity..Such readings were one of the reasons I lost belief in the inspiration of the Christian scriptures. Even today you see Christians can't agree on how to interpret the book of Revelation (or even the book of Genesis). And you see how many fanciful interpretations can be got out of the book of Revelation. Same with the psalm about hands and feet being pierced. in the case of someone surrounded by animals, dogs I believe. I also have posts on my blog about some of the so called prophecies of Christ found in Isaiah. But many of the so called prophecies mentioned in GMatthew seem quite fallacious.

If Isaiah 53 is a Messianic prophecy, as even Jews will accept, then it points very powerfully to Jesus
