    Iv just learned so much from your video mate big time and got the confidence to do bigger engine jobs myself. One thing I've learned as a cable jointer in Yorkshire most power cuts are localised failures are caused by aluminium cable directly connected to copper cable with copper grease as it was done that way for a good few years, we use special grease now and believe it or not Mercedes actually sell there equivalent version £50 for a tiny put ffs they use it on injector body's il post you the Yorkshire electric version (ce electric) massive tubes i dont pay for.

    You could try loosening the fuel lines at the injectors one at a time while cranking the engine until fuel squirts out of them. It will save the starter instead of cranking and cranking until all that air in the lines is compressed enough to open the injectors. Usually after bleeding about the first 3 or 4 injectors it will start up. About 1% of the cranking time to do it this way. Just a suggestion and always enjoy the videos.

  • @siraff4461
    @siraff4461 Рік тому

    The box is changing harder because it builds more pressure when its under more load. Thats why if you potter about it will feel like stock. If you put more torque through it it will change harder still.
    Only downside is it will eventually reach a point where it can't build enough pressure and it will slip.
    That may need quite a bit of power though. They're pretty tough boxes.

      Wondering the same thing myself. I do have doubts though, because the concept is to expend the hole, not the plug. For example, induction heat works better on nuts than it does on bolts. I potentially fear that it might expand the plug and make it tighter if the head is cold.

    Better to do a remap then trick the ecu with a map sensor

      Thanks for your comment however the issue with what you have suggested is the stock boost sensor cannot handle the higher boost pressure we are trying to achieve so the sensor must be changed.

    I am running om605turbo with 7.5mm mechanical pump in w124 with stock turbo and stock w124 250d exhaust underneath, i am sure my gains are much bigger than on this edc pump, what can be the reason? Can you make an info video why you think a bigger turbo at 2.2bar wil make more than the stock turbo at same pressure. I am dreaming about your s200 turbo, but i am afraid i will lose the early spool up of my stock turbo. (Have to admit i have problems with engine jerking above 4500rpm now, but not sure if it is from turbo or fuel supply)

    Hello all, so I got a 98 e300td. And was lied to me by the previous owner about condition of a car. And when I looked at it twice thr engine was hot and ran ok, with a little misfire but no check engine, so I decided to buy it. After washing an engine so I could do some maintenance on it, it cooled off completely. And after I cranked it it idle very rough and had lots of misfire. And it had good bit of white smoke. Like to much fuel in the exhaust. I went for a drive and it was bad until engine got hot and gave me a check engine light and a code for random misfire. Than it sounded and felt just like when I bought it. On farther inspection I see a lot of air in the fuel lines.
    So my question is. Would air in fuel make an engine misfire, smoke, loud metal clicking noise (that's goes away with rpm)? Where should I start with tackling this problem?

    • @Puzkajuzzi
      @Puzkajuzzi Рік тому +1

      Yes most likely because of air in the fuel system. Most likely culprit are the O-rings mentioned in this video

    I was wondering if people could help me,
    I have a 1998 G wagon with an om606 engine but I wanted to get more power somewhere 220-250 PH how is this work possible,
    Should I change the electronic IP with a mechanical IP, what changes should I make in the engine since I am a beginner.
    Thanks for understanding guys

    But why EDC 7,7mm with original turbo?
    6mm Edc can flud the engine even with v2 turbo of yours and i used 4bar sensor.
    May be the tune but even im impressed how could it happen. V2 is great turbo no doubt but how with 6mm elements? Original pump, original lift pump.
