Yeah, she told Neo about Morpheus's fate and how one of them have to die... because she knew neo would not let that happen and since he now believes he's not the one, he would think It would be better if Morpheus lives to find the one. But Neo's will to take action against all odds and his ultimate sacrifice to save his friends made him the one..as Oracle predicted he was reborn. It's so well written and that should be appreciated...the philosophical themes and how the story and action complements it is something else.
I dont think she can see multiple futures. My theory is there have been previous versions of the matrix, each version has this meeting between them, she knows the variations of what would happen with the vase based on these previous interactions. Sort like an evaluation engine, where each 'decision' limits the amount of possible responses eventually leading to i think stalemate. The whole franchise is basically what would happen if A.I. evolves to the point where they like to virtual reality chess with human bodies as batteries and minds as peices🎉
Different take with context of the next movie: As the operating system for the “Realistic” Matrix, the Oracle discovered how to keep humans safely within the simulation without them rejecting it: Choice. Notice how despite seemingly able to predict the future she clearly presents choices to Neo. In the end the Oracle simply understands human behavior and their need for choice better than any other machine. Having that as a model, she can accurately predict what they will do in the short term when she adds stimulus (Neo breaking the vase) and understands their choices before even they do (Morpheus sacrificing himself was a choice he came to even before Smith showed up, plus the concept of making the choice and understanding was established in the second movie). In the end the assessment of Morpheus is correct: The Oracle is a guide, giving a few nudges but ultimately letting all humans she deals with the choice she feels they deserve. This is actually what Smith fails to realize in the third movie. He thinks the Oracle can and does see the future. But considering he didn’t see his own end coming that isn’t true. She sees choices.
I didn't realize that Neo is login in with the Oracle to be the one, she just ask him for identification, facial and finger prints so he can login in, after she finish she just give him a cookie so he don't need to login again and that he remembers that he is logged in, Lol.

Because it's not Oracle who decides whether he is the one or not.... it's Neo who needs to do it and becoming aware of it. If he doesn't believe he's the one, the simulation will repeat itself, he will be born again with another chance to realise he is the one.

Probably a post modern guru, a bald headed man of wisdom that would teach a "wax on wax off" philosophy in a grandiose way, or something like that. But this Oracle was basically your granny. She was full of the type of wisdom that comes from living a lot, she talked to you in the kitchen of all places, and even she gave you cookies. I can't stress enough what a exquisite way to subvert expectations it was.

She actually predicted everything word for word she was right in everything, when she said that he wasn't "too bright" it means she knew he was going to go after Morpheus anyway against all logic, when she said he wasn't the one but he had the gift she was right at that point he still didn't have the abilities that he had towards the end of the movie, she said you'll have a choice between your life or Morpheus and ultimately he died and arose as 'The One' she said "maybe in the next life" that too was accurate his old self had to die for him to awaken as 'the one' she knew he would misunderstand the whole message and be discouraged so she reminded him that even though he still didn't fully awaken as 'the one' he still had the confidence in himself that 99% of the population didn't have and would not be persuaded by a Fortune telling, Morpheus knew that the message might be misunderstood thats why he later said "all she told you was all that you needed to hear".
Watching this again, it’s crazy that she foreshadowed his death and rise. “…but it looks like you’re waiting for something.” “What?” “Your next life, maybe. Who knows?”

Yes, it foreshadows Trinity telling Neo her feelings while he's still in The Matrix getting killed by Agent Smith. I'm confident that what Oracle says at 3:49 - 4:10 foreshadows Neo choosing to go back to save Morpheus from the Agents, subsequently getting killed by Agent Smith instead of Morpheus. He chose to die instead of letting Morpheus get killed and then Trinity confesses her love as he's flatlining in that same scene. These two main events directly led to Neo's powers truly awakening. I believe Trinity's confession of love for Neo & telling him that Oracle informed her she was destined to fall in love with the One connected all of these dots for Neo. I fully believe Neo's death and hearing Trinity's words were that something Oracle says Neo was waiting for. Neo said he guessed he wasn't the One in this scene and Oracle says, "Sorry kid you got the gift, but it looks like you're waiting for something. Your next life maybe." 2:40 - 2:56 He left from this scene thinking he wasn't the One, and then as the movie progresses he realizes Oracle's words rang true, that she was testing him and without knowing it sooner, he had set off on the right path to actualize his role and position within the Matrix as the one. After Trinity's words, he fully believed. Definitely one of the best movies of all time, the script for this movie and Reloaded are an absolute masterclass in writing.
