I think guys like this are so mature.🙂👍🏾 He's a great spokesperson for how the Byrna can be used to quell a potentially volatile situation. I'm considering purchasing one of these. I work in a violent area of D.C. One of my colleagues was mugged. However, I wonder if having something that looks so MUCH like a gun could cause me more problems than it's worth.🤔

I'm glad it worked out for him, but honestly you would think a fellow truck driver should know that if he's driving slow, it means he's at the end of his shift and can't drive any faster without getting in trouble for it. My father was a truck driver in the 70s and 80s and he would tell us stories of his travels when he got home, most were funny but a few were kinda scary for him. He carried a gun,but luckily never had to use it.

This illustrates why the LL arms are valuable. There are many instances where you certainly don't want to kill anyone, but the show of force keeps things from getting out of hand. Furthermore, if he had to use the Byrna, he could pull the trigger with a good chance that the person he's firing on is not going to be seriously hurt. Pulling the trigger when you know you will likely kill someone can cause a lot of trepidation that works against you in a tense situation.

Any driver that’s been doing the job for more than a few weeks should know the spent clock crawl. We’ve all been there and we all see other drivers having to do it often enough to know exactly what’s going on. Dude must have been having a rough day. Either that or he needs to attend an anger management course and maybe look for another profession! Whatever the case, kudos to this driver for having the intelligence and maturity to have a non lethal option at the ready. That situation could have easily been tragic. It’s NEVER ok to forcefully open a driver’s door and doing so can easily get you killed.

As a fellow truck driver and Army veteran. I believe that this platform is a fantastic tool for self defense. Unfortunately, simply having a firearm in a Blue state in the truck could be at the very least problematic. Or worse a felony. The Byrna Launcher would be a better alternative to use during an altercation. It’s “Not” a firearm and legal in all 50 states. Though the pepper and Cs/Oc rounds are prohibited in some states and cities, the hard projectiles are absolutely legal.

He didn’t fire. I saw a methed out inmate in county get incapacitated after just two rounds, one in the shoulder and one in the face. He was legit gone, was able to be cuffed and thrown in solitary. Definitely effective but I’d recommend buying a paintball marker and filling it with pepper ball rounds. A lot cheaper and I can put the link to the one I have, it’s also a lot smaller, about the size of a compact handgun so it’s easier for concealed carry.

You load the CO 2 but you do not Pierce it until you're ready you can keep it that way forever ....once you need it as you are withdrawing it you pull the trigger to Pierce it while it is in safe mode, it will last about 2 to 3 magazines about 15 rounds

TAKE for an example , the Umarex line of self defense and home defense co2 powered weapons , they cost a third of your product and with little modifications , produce 3 times the power and more . if that guy in the video being shot by the byrna would have returned fire with a modded umarex hdp or hdr , the guy with the byrna would have been the one throwing up his hands up in the air and running from his truck , believe me lol lol lol !!!!!!
