Austin killed this! The harmonies and beatboxing were par excellence! I am sure Percy Sledge would be so very proud. Austin is not gone yet. He will be leaving at the end of this month. Love your reaction!
So glad you loved this! I could see it in your face! This was recorded during the pandemic. The rest of the guys were remote (I love the TV motif!). Austin and his then girlfriend (now wife) was behind the camera. She's the one all those flirty looks were going to! Every woman I've watched react to this song just melts. Percy Sledge did this originally in the 60's, and the best cover since then (until this one) was Michael Bolton in 1991. Home Free and Austin just blow this away! You should react to Austin singing a solo version of Bring Him Home from the musical Les Miserable based on a 1800's novel by French author Victor Hugo. The character singing is Jean Valjean who loves the young soldier like the son he never had. Have tissues! I can't hear this without tears in my eyes. The whole song is wonderful, and the ending is spectacular!
Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. I think it is also better than Michael Bolton's version. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. Drummers have often commented on just how realistic his sound is. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group.
Austin certainly nailed it and he will be missed. Technically he hasn't left yet but they are in transition time. Come July their new member Adam Bell-Bastien (yes, a third Adam, not confusing at all) - they call him Bastien - will join them on stage instead of Austin. As Bastien has been a member of Home Free in the past (some years before the sing-off) I'm sure he'll fit right in.
Austin will be leaving by the end of July Adam Bastien will be taking his place. Bastien is a former member of Home Free at the start of the group and also Chris’s group 7th Ave. His first concert will be at The Grand Ol Opry on July 31.
I went and watched some of Chris and Adams stuff, & from what I heard, poor HF . Can’t wait to see what Austin does. He will definitely shine brighter than he ever did with HF. IMO HF held Austin down. So glad he’s going solo #AustinFryAlways ❤
The original was released in 1966 by Percy Sledge. An integral part of my high school/college years. Michael Bolton did a cover in 1991 or so, which many think is really good. I am not one of those. I do, however, think Austin did Percy proud. We haven't often ben able to hear his power voice - in a group like HF you blend in most of the time. Have you listened to their version of Patsy Cline's Crazy? It is another where they basically turned Austin loose and just backed him up. For something completely different from Austin, you might check out his more recent solo release(s) - two versions of a song called The Humankind. He has a couple TikToks of the first verse. Just wow. As others have said, Austin is leaving HF. He will put his efforts into his solo career and also, I am sure, into singing with some of his friends in small groups or duets on occasion.
No he is not gone yet he is leaving in July Adam Bastien will be taking his place he is doing his first concert with the guys at The Grand Ol Opry on July 31
@@jwernerschultz I think it was just the fact of finding of someone to take Austin’s place and they have Bastien now so maybe that gave Austin the leeway to up his departure timeline.Thats my guess anyway 🤷♀️
Hey love your videos, you should react to Tamino. Some of his best songs are: Habibi (live), you don't own me, first disciple, let it happen and many more. Would love to see your reactions.
Great song by Home Free. You should check out Tim on his channel in particular his cover of "In My Room" by the Beach Boys. One of the best things you'll ever hear from him.
Excellent reaction it’s the best cover out there later beautiful.❤️

One of the great things about Home Free's covers is RESPECT. They make it their own, while still respecting the original.

The lyrics of the song are just so true.
#HOMEFREE...so good! Outstanding reaction!

Sincere inspiring reaction.
This was a cover of a classic from 1966, and Austin definitely does it justice.
He does have a magical voice, I miss him
Austin sang his skinny little but off on this one. Damn, that's some good stuff...
😂😂😂😂😂
You have to nail it when your fiancee is sitting in the sound booth.
Check out Austin's solo version of "Bring Him Home" from les Mieerables. Bring kleenex.
One of the most beautiful young ladies i have ever seen reacting to the song that i would call the song we should call our song.
Just love watching your reactions AyoJess. May I also compliment you on your beauty 💕
Yeah he's a badass
This was done during covid that's why the other band members are up on TV screens and his wife was in the studio where he was singing at
I believe this was during the pandemic era, hence the separate screens.

@@Graniepanies Why Poor HF? Adam is very good singer
It was a cover Jess, and you should listen to the original sung by Percy Sledge in 1966, we think you'd like it, and Percy as well.
Austins girl friend was sitting off camera when he sang this
This cover goes back to Percy Sledge., though this is my favorite cover by far !
Original was by Percy Sledge but has been covered by several other artists

Its a cover, yes Austin is gone now. Glad to see you back

@lynnramsay8821 Ok, I heard Austin say he was staying until Winter. So something must of happened to change the timeline.
Not quite gone yet.

Home Free has dropped a new song called Your Man, please do a reaction to it. Thanks
❤️
This is soul music...from 1966. The original artist was Percy Sledge. ( ua-cam.com/video/EYb84BDMbi0/v-deo.html ) Who says HF is a "country" group?!
