@@eternaloverdrive1176 not the full one. The full PVE idea got scrapped in favor of continuing to update the PVP (which does not make up for the years of broken promises). It was genuinely one of my breaking points in finally deciding to quit the game
Scott pilgrim/Ramona Flowers would be a crazy addition because not only would it show how obscure and weird the game would be willing to get but also show that really anything could join multiversus if they worked with universal before which would open up a bunch of opportunities
im still confused on how Daffy Duck has barely been mentioned by anyone, like if he was added he could throw his beak like a boomerang for a move or smth and he's one of the main looney toons
On the financial side a lot of people would pay for a duck dodgers skin. Also yeah he is one of the most iconic characters WB has why is he not in the game.

One of the few characters that i want in the game would be The Mask, just think about it, he is already so chaotic and so fun both in his og comics, the movie (not counting that atrocity of a sequel) and the animated tv show, plus it is technically a DC character since he has faced off against Lobo before, and he could play as the opposite of Bugs Bunny
I'm a batman main, mostly because of Kevin Conroy and he's not that difficult to play but it makes me feel like a pro 😭

he’s also one of the worst characters to play against. So annoying
@@davidsnow2469 destroy his Batarang or run a anti projectile perk dodge, counteract the hook with heavy attack as the initial attack does nothing and pull them to you and etc
if you like batman try harley too. she requires a lot of intuition to play but her true combos go crazy fastfall downair 3 sidelight hits downlight uplight sair upair up sig is a 50 percent true combo and basically exploits the characters hitstun mechanics
also if that's too hard for you that's ok just practice any move into any move. literally. dash attack into any attack is true at one damage or another except downlight down sig and sidesig i have hit dash attack into sair into reverse up air into sair into reverse up air true and this isn't even bringing in the absolute bs that is gravity canceling (brawlhalla term) with that one perk idk if it was true but i hit downlight into uplight into down light into sair into up air into recovery had i had a n sig on him he would have been 0 to death

@@dillongeorge5866 same it feels better and like your attacks actually have some weight to them. they could maybe make it slightly faster but overall I don't really mind it.
Ngl just makes it harder to get out of combos. Cuz if you move somewhere in a bad position accidentally, it's really slow to get out before you get hit. Also doing combos feels crappier. Tbh it's worse. The speed was definitely horrible then, but it was due to character sizes not being appropriate for it,

Multiverse started off as a weird little creative aberration now it’s trying to place itself as the new smash bros. Hopefully this will get Warner bros financially back on track after the £200million loss of suicide squad.

@@J-gk2bothat buff form can be any size so totally. I could see it be like a reverse iron giant, where u charge up by dealing damage, hits hard from a range, but can’t take much damage. When full, his mice set changes to be massively buffed, likely dealing significantly more damage and having a wider aoe effect.

I used to play the beta but shortly after season 1 when Maestro Bugs was the last skin on the battle pass I ended up getting incarcerated for 18 months and I’m just now coming home. I logged back on and was in for a whole change when I jumped back on. I’m glad to see you did a video explaining and showing the differences of everything from beta to today. Really helpful video. Also i just wanna say, i know macro definitely hasnt seen Steven Universe but genuinely basically any character would be AMAZING in multiversus. My picks would be Spinel, Peridot, or Lapis. Connie would also work as the sword fighter character macro mentioned.
Just please dont give us any new DC characters we have enough 😭
sadly people play dc characters a lot, i would love to see peridot but lapis would probably work best for a moveset

Whilst they lied and said it'd stay up until full release, then after a couple months they took their money, ran and said nothing further AT ALL for a YEAR. Do people realize how insane they sound defending this shit? Imagine you're at a restaurant, pay for your food, then the waiter says that you'll have to wait a year for it and you deserve it because you paid for the promise of food, not the actual food.

At first I didn’t like the new speed too. But after you get used to it you realise it actually makes it more a fighting game rather than a guessing game. And more people are starting to realise that.

Speaking of Ben 10 and Samurai Jack, they do have movesets in the Cartoon Network Punchtime Explosion XL game. I can see Multiverses doing an updated version on those movesets. They can even do that with Dexter, Ben 10 (Alien Force/Ultimate Alien), and the Powerpuff Girls, too. If they get added into the game.

In the background of dexters stage you can actually see some text on a computer with (presumably) dexter asking to be added to the game which I think is really funny (also, proud harley main since mr.macro asked so kindly to put mains in commments :3 )
Legend has it,one day companies will realize that most players,kids and teens get allowances,not paychecks and their focus is usually on Fortnite,so overmonetization is practically the quickest way to kill their game. Why spend like twenty bucks on a Fancy Shaggy on a game that feels "off" when i could buy Anakin Skywalker in Fortnite just for the lols? If they could simplify their games and make a touch less grindy,but with a way to earn things for fun,it would be lit.

I have been wanting Spinel from Steven Universe in the game for ages cause I think she has so much potential for her kit as she's sort of Looney Tunes-esque. Currently I main Jason purely because I think his inclusion in this game is hilarious
I like the contrast between this which is now basically just a regular fighting game. SSB ultimate which is a balance of how fast it is compared to other fighting platformers. And Brawlhalla where the main gameplay loop is seeing who can tap the dodge button more often and who's true combo lasts longer.

I'm one of the ones who prefer the zoomed camera. For the way they have done outlines on the characters was making it very difficult to indentify the characters and their movements with the camera view from Beta. I really hope this game does well cuz it seems lots of fun
I want Pearl in the game! Her move set could be very elegant! Also Deedee Is such a good Voice actor!
Dexter (from his lab) would have mad potential with all his inventions. Coyote (from the roadrunner show) is one of my all time favourites and would also have mad gadgets.
This video made me realize how much potential for adding characters the game has.

my main is banana gaurd because i love how he can up air up air up air up air into up b into up b kill, and that his forward air kills at 100. plus, neutral be weight lifting can be broken in certain situations.
I would probably give it a 6 or 7/10 well I’m not too mad about the game being slowed down but there’s a bit more cons than pros like how you can’t see how much kills or damage every did in a match but that can very easily get fixed
They added a whole power puff girl stage but no power puffs for some reason.
I won’t spoil anything for those who want the hype, but I will say about half of Macro’s picks are already confirmed via leaks and datamines.
So yeah that’s fun.

Personally, I feel like that the rifts modes are fun but i bit grindy, Like i just wanna play as Agent Smith dude. Also I know its kinda of an early stage of the game so you wanna have super unique fighters but am I the only one that thinks that some characters would fit as Echoes?: for example, recently people have suggested that a Watchman character will probably be in the game (based on tweets from the dev team) and i think that if you take the batman moveset and you substitute some gadget moves with something else you have a perfect Rorschach, Agent Smith and Neo sharing many parts of their moveset is just canon etc. You can pay them for less and thats a way to cram more characters from the same franchise in a affordable way (for example in order to make as many LotR characters as possible you can have Legolas and Gandalf as unique movesets and Gollum as an Echo for Stripe)
i love the slower gameplay. i’m pretty bad at all fighters, let alone plat forming ones like this, so the slower speed allows me to learn combos and react easier than before
I've been a harley main since the beta and it took me like 2 days to relearn the controls and combos and get back into the flow

I really want Multiversus to get popular, specifically because of the character potential. Imagine this becoming the smash brothers of television, not in terms of the actual game, but the celebration of television as a whole.
Just like how originally smash was a celebration of Nintendo before becoming so popular that it turned into a celebration of gaming as a whole, I can see this starting as a celebration of Warner before becoming so big that it turns into a celebration of television as a whole.

I think the slowdown is actually a good thing.
People with weak reflexes or bad hand-eye cordination can play the game better.
So it's basically, the slownes is an accessabilitiy feature, and hating it is the same as hating colorblind mode.

Well because it doesn't take that long. The game gives you plenty of fighter currency. I have 9k in 12 hours playtime, and a lot of it was goofing off.
