Ran a 13 cam daily to and from work with 3500 stall 3.7s. Nothing better then a grumpy cam at the lights.

What he says about the VCM 7 is correct, im daily driving mine at the moment in a vy ss manual with stock diff gears. Try eating a sausage roll or pie and drive the thing to work in traffic jerky as.

i had vcm 7 as a daily for allmost 2 years. i never had any issues with drivability. drove great

I also have this cam for 2years 3.46 diff manual and its fine.Not hard to drive unless your on peek hour traffic just hates doing 45kph
Mine was manual. Stop start traffic got a bit tiresome on the clutch foot.

Biggest is .612. Basically Elgin’s cam. Ran that cam and it was great. The BTR stage 4 is larger

The biggest cam is well suited to a stroker engine. The valve events are good although I would put the LSA on a 113.
On mine ls2 408 I'm going for a 238/256 113lsa cam. Will drive good as a daily because of the cubes
None of these cams suit a stroker because there way to small they also sound like a popcorn machine and that’s not how a cam should sound I guess it’s ok for someone that doesn’t know any better

ran a cam very simular to the MS3(lil bigger) for 2 years daily in a C5Z. Got close to 30mpg before getting 3.90s then 26mpg hwy. it's all about that tune.

I have a 223 227 110 610 614 in my Manuel 04 ls1 gto and the stage 3 clutch makes it hard to drive in high traffic the cam didn't make it more difficult to drive

there all baby cams, I looking for a big cam to go into a 427 LS with a big 98mm Turbo no one make a decent cam for big cui LS biggest I've found is a crow cams 1253--245/262 .614/.614 114 and a 1291--245/261 .621/.616 114 lastly 1024--242/262 .610/.616 116

What makes them tricky to drive?
Feels like it's about to stall at low rpm and it lurches.
not a issue if you get a good tune
Depends on the overlap.
The more you have the more likely it is to surge.
A good tune has its limit too as to how much it can smooth out.
The sweet spot for a 408 for a daily is 12 degrees positive overlap.
For a 6 litre it would be about 6-8 degrees.
Any more and you begin to compromise the driveability of the vehicle.
The tricky part is not getting impounded, you'll be hanging sideways every fuckin corner

Gotta be shitting me. If your tune sucks, then all of these cams will be rough to drive in traffic. Also if you're inexperienced at driving a manual in traffic, then you shouldn't be putting a Cam in your car at all if you drive in bad traffic daily, unless its just a drag car and not a daily. i have a 235/240, .629" 615" 111LSA and tuned of course along with Kooks 1 3/4 headers in my 05 GTO. Its my daily. Its a 6 speed manual, and i have taken the car to NYC before, for a week and a half. I got 6mpg which is your real city traffic right there. I had no issues driving my car, because 1 was the tune of course, and two I'm very experienced at driving manuals and understand my power curve. Ive been all through out this country as a former tractor trailer driver. You wanna talk about a vehicle being tricky to drive in stop and go traffic. Drive a fully loaded 48,000lbs of glass in a tractor trailer up hill. You'll be able to drive any cammed manual vehicle after that. lol in regards to the these high stalls this guy is recommending. Bullshit. Ive seen big cams like these in LS cars that didn't require such huge stalls.....lmaoo.....This guy doesnt even recommend the stickiest of sticky tire to complement these stalls......Have a dumbass spinning themselves into a ditch somewhere
