Agreed...that kid was like "wait! What's this? This is super interesting!" "Come along, don't look at these rabble-rousers, we've got to go see something that mommy and daddy like."
Well they amazed me as i am a musician. But i didn't see the crowd do anything but walk by, no money, and a little girl holding her ears but she was interested though. Awesome job.
Not one jig was spun during this performance, people haven't a soul anymore. Look at the little girl, the spirt had her, she just didn't know what to do, then the devil pulled her back.
me, paying cash money to see these guys once before and being depressed they had to miss muddy roots and all these goons just completely unaware of the talent their walking by, damn dude :existentialcrisis:
Holy fuck was there no other way for these derps to walk ? The ones walking past this gorgeous display of music ..not even acknowledging it. That was painful to see. Well, WE APPRECIATE YALL. I hope you’re all still at it 💪🏻 💜
Think about it: listen to the mostly schlock music played on lamestream radio, and you can kind of get it. Most "pop" music is utter trash, has been for a long time. A great number of pop artists aren't even skillful on an instrument. Tin Ear Syndrome, I call it.
Usually what most people do is gather in a crowd and tip after, you can see their reflections in the store window. But as for some passers-by...? Maybe they are just part of the Matrix.
Does anyone know if a musician needs a permit to play in the streets of Asheville? And are their many single acts? Anyone? And thank you thank you to anyone who responds.
Abby who lol? Abby is a narcissist A-hole that abandoned her community because she got famous on UA-cam. She's a no talent hack who plays the same pattern on her spoons for every song. She has somehow ruined the busking scene here because it's dead now since she left. She packed up years ago and moved to Kansas. She used to be a part of the Asheville Busker Collective who fought for buskers rights to play in Asheville without permits or any restrictions. I believe she influenced a lot of buskers to never come back here. Do you know what's funny? Asheville has a paper called the Mountain Xpress who does a Best of WNC poll with awards for businesses, people, etc. She just won Busker of the Year 2024 and she hasn't performed here in years. LMFAO. Thanks Abby!
Sometimes, I dream of taking a break from "normal" society to ride the rails and play in a band like this. I love it.
Seeing those people stop the child they are with to not engage was tough. They were interested.
Happens more often than not. As a busker myself, it's pretty cringe to see
Those kids hold onto the memories tho. I was once a youngin mesmerized by buskers now I am one
I think it's not that deep, I think it was because people were walking through
Agreed...that kid was like "wait! What's this? This is super interesting!" "Come along, don't look at these rabble-rousers, we've got to go see something that mommy and daddy like."
Thumbs up from the OG Zipper
I saw them in New Orleans, I have them on my Spotify now, great band. Clever songs too.
they should go to Europe, here they would gather a crowd of 50+ people, oh and nobody would walk in front to distrurb
Wow! That's top notch busking!
Heck yeah. Definitely worth a couple of coins.
this video has more views than most of SNZ's live videos lol
That bass solo was so freaking killer
Amazing, would have loved to been there in person.
Great! I'm interested in the guy playing the violin. I have never seen anyone play on that side of the neck. Cool!
It's because he is left handed.
Well they amazed me as i am a musician. But i didn't see the crowd do anything but walk by, no money, and a little girl holding her ears but she was interested though. Awesome job.
People are used to dirty hippies doing dirty hippy things in Asheville.
Damn I'm not usually one for folk punk but these guys are fantastic
I'm not sure this classifies as folk punk, it's more like new Orleans style jazz
Great performance. Wish I could have been there a drop few bucks for the band....
I've provided their donation link in the videos description. Thanks for watching.
I found these guys on Spotify recently. I absolutely love their style and energy. I wish they'd tour towards my neck of the woods
Seems like Crust Cosplay… they have 15k worth of instruments… hahahaha
Tons and tons of energy here! I'd love to hear a proper recording of you guys!
They are on spotify with EP and an album.
Ran across these guys playing on the street in New Orleans. Fantastic group! Love their music.
Great live performance. I would love to see them in person.

The guy's got the fastest bass-drum foot in the county.
Now this is a fun, jiggy tune!
Incendiary performance, taking off my hat!
I grew up with SNZ man, the album HOT was in constant rotation at my parents' home. This is soooo damn cool to find out, you guys swing man!
Amazing sounds.
Молодцы ребята! Не хуже оригинала!
WOW! Bravo! Vielen Dank! 😎💃🕺🤗🕉💖🙏
Love this arrangement

Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately that's how Asheville is. Small sidewalks create the flow of traffic in front of the camera.

Tin Ear Syndrome, I call it.
I guess some wish they “put a lid on it”

Y'all don't understand, people are used to dirty hipsters doing dirty hipster things in Asheville. No one cares because it's not special there.
A lil skankin would even suffice
@@JO-rx7go always works for me
People Passing By
Like There Getting
Chased
Asheville cats, been playin' since theyz baybees...
They're not from Asheville. I think they're from Louisiana
Does anyone know if a musician needs a permit to play in the streets of Asheville? And are their many single acts? Anyone? And thank you thank you to anyone who responds.
No permits required. A lot of single acts.
BUT - where is Abby????
