just snagged my a full squish but i loooove hardtails and will always have a good one to ride the mountains on. keep slaying the hardtail always. hardtail never fails... except when something breaks lol.
I ride a full sus, and I just want to say, if you ride a full suspension there is absolutely nothing stopping you from picking clean, fast lines, but if you mess up those lines you can keep all of your speed most of the time
@@Jekakrab I have both. To be fair the hard tail is a downhill and the single crank is an enduro/cross country bike. I can feel everything with the rearend of the hard tail. I can feel the bite that you just can’t feel on a full suspension bike. Is a hard tail faster? I will say no because it’s a rough ride and I find myself picking “smoother” lines vs faster lines if I am riding all day. I will say if I’m going for a quick ride I can be faster on a hard tail just because of how much I can maneuver my body rearward and down compared to my full suspension. I ride a hard tail downhill because it’s fun and at the end of the day it’s also easier to maintain and lighter.
I rode fully rigid into the early 00s. Mostly because I couldn't afford a decent hardtail. I like to tell myself that it made me a better rider. I also like to tell myself I could've beat Tomac back in the day. 😂
I own a pretty cool canyon stoic. I ride it very hardly and I must say I get a ton of atention to my bike because of it just looking clean. Much more than my friends 4x the price full sus. One thing that is really not talked about is just how simple and nicely those bikes look. While riding too.
I’m completely new to MTB but not got a clue, looking at buying an orange crush comp 2023, anyone know if this is a good bike? I’d be looking at doing blue trails and maybe go on to red.
👍🏻Yup true that, totally agree,I manage to ride certain trails with my dirt jumper and it finally starts to get fun after a few runs where I 'genuinely' can see the progress that I achieved on a rocky hardtrail👌🏻🇵🇹🙋🏻♂️.
I just got a full after a year of riding hard tail. Now I want a better more newer hardtail. Hardtails are more fun. But full feel alot safer for a beginner like myself.
Started on an old hard tail. Then saved up for a decent full sus. Just because I ride for 3.5 -4 hours at a time and I was tired of being beat up by my seat.
I can say going from a 26er to 27.5 to 29er hardtail what a difference on a hardatail. She is right I love my hardtail. I can keep up with my buddies on full suspension.
I personally ride a mid 2000s Cube AMS 100 which I got for my birthday, its full suspension and my dad replaced the chain, replaced the pedals and struggled to get the brakes done but he got it working perfectly the old brake fluid looked like cake icing and he got gel tubes and new tyres, he also owns a full suspension 2001 Giant NRS XTC, and all I can say is. Full suspension mountain bikes look cool and are fun.
As a full time hardtail rider who has never rode a full sus. I confirm this message.
If you didn’t tried a full sus you can’t say that only person who ride both full sus and hard tail can say it
@@ArcticTechnology nah.... He said it.

You can confirm but have never rode a full suspension bike 😂
@@Adam-vm8kp shhh..... hardtails are still cooler and better in all ways

No risk, no reward. Stay soft my friend. 😉
I have a rigid mountain bike with no suspension at all! So that makes me look even cooler than a hardtail!
Dang, ive just been using a road bike with wide tires and put mountain bike tires on it, no suspension
Apparently, I look completely out of control and all over the show, but you say it's called ...style.. hmm, sounds good 😊
Hardtails give you a lot more finesse with sliding/drifting entries or exits. Rear suspension takes up all the feel in a slide/drift.
Maybe you didn’t use single crank full suspension bike?

@@Jekakrab what is single crank? Is it a suspension platform?
@@binary2699 sorry it’s single pivot not crank 😂
@@RadDadisRad just wanted to say that what you hit the rear brake, single pivot suspension mostly become hard tail.
hardtail heroes 🛠️🛠️steel is real
I ride full rigid so you're all cheaters to me
😂 this is the only way
Tell me you have solid tires too.
I'm a real mountain biker, i ride rims only
Rigid for life!
You're all soft. I exclusively fall down mountains naked.
I have known this for 30+ years and have only ever ridden a 26' hardtail
I have a hardtail I ride on the road and people compliment it all the time
True sometimes i ride lines that my mother and father don’t ride and I ride a hardtail and my mother was riding races
I currently have trek marlin 6 right now and i love it

Ive been riding a rigid most of my life, what i like about it is that when you put the power down, all the power goes, nothing is lost
I only ride MTB Unicycles, no need for wasted power going to unnecessary extra wheels and steering bits
I own a pretty cool canyon stoic. I ride it very hardly and I must say I get a ton of atention to my bike because of it just looking clean. Much more than my friends 4x the price full sus.

Rear weight maneuvering is huge when doing downhill. Something you can’t do on a full sus bike.
How do you like that bike? I’ve heard good reviews except for the frame
After 30 yrs of mtn biking, I found myself back on a plus hardtail....Three yrs later, still no regrets.
Me too.Same feeling
Hardtails are in my DNA.
As a 230 LB ex bmx rider
I HATE SHOCKS ON A BIKE😂
I just love my Hardtail hehehehe....
As a dirt jumper rider that for some reason rides techy trails instead of jumps this is indeed true
You should see the mountain bike community of the Philippines 😅
Fully agree
Me hearing this just after bying 7 grand full suspensions and selling my hardtail 😭
I’m completely new to MTB but not got a clue, looking at buying an orange crush comp 2023, anyone know if this is a good bike? I’d be looking at doing blue trails and maybe go on to red.
I will NEVER go back to a hardtail. I like my bones, tendons, and ligaments being intact. I also like not paying for medical bills.
Bro you said sus
Everyone spending mega on bikes heres me smashing on cheap ass crap 😂
👍🏻Yup true that, totally agree,I manage to ride certain trails with my dirt jumper and it finally starts to get fun after a few runs where I 'genuinely' can see the progress that I achieved on a rocky hardtrail👌🏻🇵🇹🙋🏻♂️.
After a certain point you cant go faster without beeing beat up on a hardail. Whenever im on one on demanding trails i feel held back mostly.
Only you hold you back.
Mine only gave me anklepain and fear of loosing grip on the pedals.😂
U Agree. I hope more people from my MTB comunity start enjoing and apreciating hartail riding
Tbh ht riders just cope with all of this nonsense just like fs riders when they see e-bike riders
Hardtail master race
A rigid bike, gives even greater hardness.
Ffs Anna, this makes me want to storm a Castle…
With my hardtail leading the charge!
Yeah? I used to MTB fully rigid. Rear & Front sus are overrated.
Sus
Alpaka Hardtail Mountain Bike classifieds.ksl.com/listing/74575189 amazing bike come check it out.
its cool
Say something different your copying what others always said about hardtails!!
I ride my full sus like a hardtail
What should I get full suspension or hardtail?I'm a newbie and just wanna cycle with my friends
It’s funny. As a layman, all these words are familiar, but the sentences make no sense whatsoever.
Yep, started out on hardtail, and better than friends that started on full sus
I have a hard tail and full sus but i use my bmx...with no suspension
So I guess I’m only half sus I think that’s a good thing
i got a giant talon hardtail and it didnt give me style… it gave me a broken collar bone. 😳
Oh no how did it happen?
They're more fun to ride. full-bouncers get boring.
Hardtails is Corolla AE86 of cycling world
Real Mt bikers ride hardtail.
And....
riding a rigid takes this to the next level.
Truth, no one talks when I ride my dh but my hardtail is where my soul comes out, everyone runs up to talk and just meet me.
Nah, downhill bike everytime, everywhere.
Did you grow out your hair Blake? 😁
Hardtail give u skill, full sus give u speed
Until you get full suspension.
why i gon listen to a female?

I own a Trek 6700, upgrades over time it's a 10.8kg rocket, love Hardtail riding especially when climbing.
sometimes when I’m riding my capra I just think about how fun it would be to send the staircase or trail or whatever I’m doing on a hard tail
Daaaaaaaam did you hear that there cool not so rigid thinng😂😂😂❤ stylish lines and popping off roots and dancing through the trees❤
😂😂😂😂 hardtails r dead
Yep and uh huh. So there!
this is GREAT I'm a hardtail guy in the deserts of redbull rampage and agree with EVERYTHING SAID
You've earned it... Tell me how you like it. "Cats in a Bag Racing (silent scratchers) " lolol
And after the style comes the cost of buying a full sus. Just get a full sus with lockout if you want.
I own and ride different styles of bike engineering. Sometimes I wish for a hardtail depending on the trail or just my mood.
I feel safer on ht
Roscoe the best
No it doesn't.
I own a full sus now but I sorta wish I spent more time on a hardtale because I'm plowing through stuff
Bro my hardtail is falling apart but it gets me through those black diamonds, love it so much
I agree
i'm sitting in between with a trek supercal, best of both worlds!
Telle about it...gotr a hardtail and a full suspension.
hi
It is very helpful when you have a Pike in your HT, though. 🔥🔥🔥
She is just doing the same vids that Blake already did
I thought she was gana say hard tail can genuinely f&-$ of
Sus🤨
The only advantage of the hardtail is a price.
This is fact 💯 local williams lake rider here
Whole point of a full suspension bike is to go through rough terrain with ease lol but yes you do have a good point, making things sketchy is more fun
It's not making things sketchy. It's about getting the basics down and being better without needing a full sus bike.
I love this Nukeproof Scout.
I love my hardtail
Hardtail 👍👍👍
Hard tail single speed Flatlanders choice here in the shitty Midwest!! Xc trails
Woww, beautiful words.
True👍🏻
