i always appreciate how well founded Summer's botany/ecology knowledge is and all the questions she asks. It's why no other plant person on youtube is at her level!
I love Summer so much and really enjoy her videos. I wish she'd let these guys finish their sentences though. They're clearly relaxed and mellow (in a good way) in their responses. But wow! These plants are absolutely amazing!!! Just as I thought I was leaning more towards philodendron!! 😅❤🌿
I lived right next to them in '17. Before that spot opened, some people projected old kung fu movies and served free stale popcorn 🤣. Also, the corner market owner would build massive snowmen most winters(depending on how much snowfall). I'm glad the Cactus shop is still there. I hope to visit them soon. Maybe I'll visit their shop in socal.
Cool shop there should be more stores like this in the US. The cactus at 7:48 looks like oreocereus celsianus to me trolli are usually more hairy both are nicknamed old man of the Andes they come from Bolivia mostly but the genus oreocereus are naturally from Bolivia,Peru to Argentina
Awesome, interesting video. These 2 men are very knowledgeable & interesting and they seem to love what they do. If they are looking to open another shop, we need one in Virginia! Thank you for your planty content.
Those guys are a wealth of knowledge..all the different species of plants they have are amazing.. And it's cool how you catch so many off guard with your knowledge also..when you interact with growers and retailers... Thanks for inviting us along
Nice store to walk round and be inspired, I would also include nice interesting terracotta textured pots, maybe Italian, fragrant foliage, mini fragrant orchids, fragrant Hoyas, fragrant flowers,
I’m not impressed. Lots of thinned out Trichocereus with fungal issues and scale. I didn’t see a single happy lookin* clean specimen. I’m sure they have some nice looking cacti but from the video so many neglected looking specimens. I see way better work done by basic collectors.
I’ve been there many times and unfortunately it’s very expensive, but worth the visit. What up SRO?!? Thanks for replying on Instagram about the trip to CR. Peace.

I love that she tells us what each species is, very helpful! ❤

I bet they’re super happy that you keep asking questions that they don’t know the answer to 😂

In NYC show off 😊
Love these small but intensely interesting plant shops tucked in around the city! The Cactus Shop is really doing great things!

When the interviewer knows more about the topic than the "experts". 😊 I would not be buying from these guys.
Too expensive as well.
