Great work Joey, love this. The best part is your own opinions on what this news means. Much better than content that just lists off a bunch of updates/press release. I also think this news has a much wider potential audience than motion design/animation, so I hope it continues to build a following!
Joey and SoM are the true Gs in the industry.
I started using a lot of AI tools - and to save $ - I stopped using Adobe Software and switched to Affinity +Davinci +Unreal - so far so good.

oh nooo! wonder dynamics is now in the claws of the darkness (Autodesk) ...I don't know a single 3rd Party tool that Autodesk didn't ruin :-(

These are laptops so they really can’t be the fastest PC ever built, can they? They might beat a MacBook Air M3 though.
That's what Microsoft is claiming... but all of these benchmarks can be kind of "hacked" with the right tests. I'm sure they're fast AF, though.
It's okay to say that Pixar was affected by the woke nonsense that has hurt Disney in general. Don't have to parrot their corporate-speak deflecting blame. Plus Pixar, for those and other reasons has gone down hill in quality under Disney.
So beyond reading a script, what else can you do for us? Waste of time. Its a montage of press releases with no critical analysis whatsoever. I might as well be AI to do it and choose the voice type. C'mon man, put some effort into it. Don't be a bot. And if you are unable to stand and talk to camera with your own thoughts for two minutes, at least don't record yourself reading.
In fairness, hes probably done more for motion designers than 99.99% of anyone in this field but I can see how this format isnt for everyone. It feels a bit formal maybe but I think he goes above and beyond to try to keep people informed and help them improve.
@@chrismarano2135 If he is an educator than he should be one and not this UA-cam cliche, with fake thumbnail reaction , and reading from teleprompter, stacking footage from promo materials etc. Not only does the information feel like infomercial but it also feel desporate attempt to get viewers. If he is so amazing as you say he is , than why all this UA-cam shallow fake nonsense? And how is it possible to memorize someone one should be expert for talk in such a short video? If you know your stuff, 10 h live stream would feel like a breeze. Either way, leaves all kinds of bad impressions for me.
