Where did you get that Fig 1 diagram shown at 7:15? I've watched a bunch of these videos and can't make sense of the rotation, but that diagram is perfect. Would like to try and find similar for 3, 4 and 2 as well.
Thanks 🙏🏼 for showing how’s this is done. I have a 2004 Honda CRV with same engine. So intake 10 thousands and 13 thousands on exhaust valve if I understand you correctly?
@@HooptiesGarage Thank you for your quick response ,and it really necessary to remove the spark plugs when rotating the crank thecrank to check the valve clearance?
@@HooptiesGarage Sorry that was incorrect I meant to say can you move and rotate the engine at the power steering pump I know you have to takeoff the ignition coils and spark plugs, thanks
Great video very informative, only wish you adjust the focus better so we could see more details.
Yeah I've been expermintenting with different cameras the one i used on this video doesn't seem like it wants to focus or very sensitive to it
@@HooptiesGarage thank you very much, I a adjusting the exhaust valves clearance now, watching your video as I am doing it. :)

Book calls for 8 and 11. That will turn out to be a little tight. 10 to 12 is good
Why couldn’t you just rotate the engine at the powers during pump near the cams ,
would that cause any,damage?
Use the power steering pump to rotate? You can I guess but Honda puts a access hole to the 19mm bolt at crank to rotate the engine with a socket.

@@mustangjoe8352 no you have to remove coil packs to get valve cover off but not the plugs

@@mustangjoe8352 spark plug come out just to help with no compression when turning at the power steering pump. It just makes it easier to turn.
what a filthy engine
Not on the inside where it counts
