great as always man, love the content! please keep doing what you're doing, thanks for the value you bring to the world. much love and blessings my friend 🙏
haha love how Kanye is always the example of Egotistic. Great value! I just want to say, I love this series bro! Just started it today and it's already resonating a lot!
Great series and great vid bro. Loved ryans book: the growth hacker. Also I think that you should do the narrative yourself, because you have a powerful voice bro! Cut that older voice out! Bring your energy into it, it's the way to go! Subscribed and hungry for more! Greets from Switzerland!
+Gerard AdamsTV "To receive the full uncut interview with Ryan Holiday straight to your inbox please sign up for our newsletter at www.gerardadamstv.com". i did that and still didnt get the video? why?
Great vid, great content, great produciton. 2 things. 1: "movie trailer voice" guy takes me out of the vid a bit.....so for me personally, that voice in there makes the vid feel slightly over-produced and try-hard. You could do that voice dude. 2: Weird edit at the end, right before the goat ending scene, I assume it was intended? Regardless, not bagging on this great vid, just giving you my personal feedback my man.
Hey, really cool episodes. I like how you let them talk most of the time... but the voice of the voice over is a little weird... it would sound better if it was your voice
agree, first thing I thought when the video rolled, is what his this voice over? but to be fair, I am new to GA's stuff, and used to his newer episodes, where he switched to doing his own. weird to watch some of the old stuff.. love this one with Ryan though!
Dude who are you?! Haha. I found your channel by happen stance from the Gary V video. You are putting out incredibly dope content with top notch production value.
Gerard, Ryan says dont leap until you see the landing and from what I can tell you did the opposite when you dropped out after 1 semester at college...what are your thoughts?
+Mick Gonzalez True, but I did have my heart set on learning about investing in the stock market and that I wanted to build a business around it. So I don't think you need to know exactly where you're landing but have an idea of the direction you're headed even if it's to get you started and then adapt.
I love your work, Gerard. Plans to interview/review Dr. Jim Afremow? His books, "The Champion's Comeback" (2016) and "The Champion's Mind (2014) are fantastic! Excellent tweets, too: @goldmedalmind
It's a shame that people like Ryan aren't more famous when charlatan hustlers like Gary Vaynerchuk, who claim to know the secret to wealth, wisdom and happiness, are all over the web. Gary's a great self-promoter, but can someone tell me what his company actually does besides selling the Vaynerchuk brand and making Gary look like a busy, important person? Ryan has success but is humble and isn't trying to sell you the bullshit notion that dropping out of school is the quickest path to success. Don't leap until you've spotted the landing...
That would be worth witnessing, for sure. Vaynerchuk has immense hustle, which I respect, but I think what bothers me most is not his personality, rather his popularity. His get-rich-quick evangelist persona resonates with the most superficial and shallow aspects of what it means to be an entrepreneur or even how to live a meaningful life. It seems that the people who follow him are more concerned with being great than doing great, which I find disturbing. I personally know someone who dropped out of my university to create a startup/"become an entrepreneur" without even having an idea, let alone working concept, of what this great idea would become. He placed a bet on his own ability to "achieve greatness" as opposed to pursuing an idea that could affect positive change in some capacity. He leaped without spotting the landing. Unsurprisingly, he's also a huge Gary V fan and even met him at his office to talk about dropping out of school and the hustle (whatever that entails), and I think Gary basically reassured him in this idea that leaving school 1 year away from completing his degree without any concrete plans is what he should be doing.
i was always so confused as to what his company does so when i commented on one of his videos i got replied that his channel shows about him not his company which is correct but what i'd like to point is that some things that he says are really really good you should listen to his 1minute videos that are small parts of his videos btw that dude is genius.
@mutatedlavalamp your friend sounds like someone who didn't listen to the practical side of Gary's content, and only heard what he wanted to hear. Plenty of times Gary has said this isn't for everyone, and knowing yourself is essential before making such a decision. He also gets angry when people try to do the get rich quick thing, and calls those people out. He has all but quit angel investing because so many startups don't know wtf they are doing, and don't put in the work. He tells many that they will have to eat shit for years before achieving any success. And his daily show isn't a way to glamorize entrepreneurship, but rather to show how hard you have to work. I watch his show and think it looks daunting as fuck, not that it would be easy. But I can see how some people who don't see the practical side of Gary thinking he's a get rich quick guy. I sincerely don't think that's his message at all.
I agree with this. I've been watching Gary for many times now and always been a fan of Ryan since day one. I think it should be a mix of both personalities or like what Gary said, you need to be self-aware. I adore them both. :) Gary talks about patience most of the time (for the record.)

Like this, and unlike some other folks, I like the voice over, maybe because an older voice adds diverse credibility to the message.
Great as always! :D

+Keshaw Gajadin Thank you!
Really cool episodes. I hope the author won't give it up as some others do - start well but end quick.
14:40 did you purposely cut him off here?
Dude who are you?! Haha. I found your channel by happen stance from the Gary V video.

Loved the interview and visuals but could use some musical silence, maybe 50% of the time. A bit distracting otherwise
+Drew Jackson Thanks for the feedback!

Great editing but the ending needs fixing.
