"Understand my mistakes." That phrase alone could turn someone's life around. This video is great. It gives real life examples and encourages other to step outside and turn your life around. All of your videos make me feel like you are personally talking to me, which makes me want to listen and follow your direction. I feel like if I apply your lessons to any trial on my life, I could get past it. Thanks for the great content. 👍🏻
Very inspiring, there is so much truth in the things he says. You can't just sit there and hope for money to magically land on your lap. No one says success is easy, you have to work for it, strive for it, and be willing to work you butt off for it. But in the end you will look back on the journey and be happy you can honestly say you gave it your all.
Hey Gerard, I just listened to your interview on Ed Mylett's podcast. I am a few years older than you and feel like a failure in life. You are so powerful & it was the inspiration I needed at this point of my life. Thank you so much for what you're doing.
Hong Lee my pleasure Hong. Reach out to me anytime. Every day you have a choice to redesign your life. 1st step is developing a world-class mindset. Focus. You vs You.
Gerard, thank you so much for your words of encouragement. Today has been a better day b/c I started my day with a world-class mindset. Just out of curiosity, are you accepting any mentees at the moment?
Gerad! I know you don't know me, but I know Kalvin. It's so very amazing how someone like Kalvin, who didn't start at Rock bottom, but someone who set there goals at a young age and is completing them right is so cool. He graduated early, started his own party business, is living on his own all before the age of 19. From what I can tell a lot of his own philosophy comes from you! From watching your videos and watching Kalvin become smarter in the Entrepreneur lifestyle has motivated me so much to become just like Kalvin. It really is a ripple affect. You learned from the mentors that taught you, Kalvin then learned from you, and all of us are now learning from Kalvin! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with me and everyone else! Definitely a follower for a very long time.
This video seriously motivated me. I have hit rock bottom so many times these past two years and to know I'm not alone is truly amazing. Thank you for motivating me and everyone who watched this. You guys are changing the world one step at a time 💓
Crazy how so much can come from so little. This video has so much positivity in it... It's contagious. The love is there and that's what changes lives. 😝👏
This makes me want to do everything I can to find someone like you! I will stop at nothing to try and have an opportunity to meet someone and learn to put my life in the right direction!
"Nothing to loose, everything to gain" this says so much! What do you have to loose by trying? Take that leap, take that step! Go for something big! Build yourself, don't have that fear of failure! Move past that mental block where you don't feel like you can do it, where you don't feel like people are baking you up! Go out there hit the grind and go hard! If you fail, try again! Figure out what it is you could do better this time! So inspiring! Don't do it alone! Find homies willing to stand by you, find that mentor that can help get you to the top! Don't focus on the big things, go step by step! Learn value, learn your value! Take action, leaders create leaders. "Money... it follows it doesn't lead"
Inspiring video at this moment in life I can relate, feel stuck at decision and opportunities. Ive read Ryan Blair "Nothing to Lose Everything Gain" a few years ago after this reminder, I've decided to pick it up and re-read it again. Subscribed also can't wait to see what extra values I can learn along the road. Thank You Gerard
I'm not necessarily at rock bottom but this video definitely helped remind me of my goals and where I want to be some day. I think it's so cool that you are so successful but still care so much about other people succeeding. Kal is lucky to have you as a mentor. Shout out to you, Kal, for following your dreams and giving everyone a taste of your experience.
Very inspiring. I tend to follow people for about a week on snapchat but then they bore me so I delete them. You're still there and there are only 4 people that aren't my friends that I follow. You inspire everyday. Keep it going!
This is an amazing, inspirational video and the rock bottom part was spot on for me that made so much sense. On how rock button isn't just loosing money but it's a self opinion.
Gerard, this is good stuff. I'm glad you started the series. I too think there's more to life than living for the materialistic things. That can all be gone tomorrow. Helping others to succeed and lead others is more valuable. It'll be cool to meet you in person at some point. Keep it up bro!
Gerard you are the most inspiring guy ever! I love what you're doing, I know how important it is to have a good mentor and I know you did that for Kal and now he's making a huge impression on the phone out here in Utah. Keep being super amazing! Looking forward to more videos, keep 'em coming!
I love how he said "If you're chasing money, you're never going to get it. Chase value." The goal should be to create something that can change people's lives for the better. The goal should be to inspire. When our goals are right, the success will follow
You are that person. Since the day i heard from you. And trust me, im not giving up until i get a glimpse of attention from you. I need to show you im seriouse. And thats what im going to do💯
This videos is very inspiring. Glad to have know that a friend (Kalvin Richan) went to be mentored by one of the best out there and now I want to go get it for myself. Keep up the great work. Your inspiring thousands of people to become the best they can be. Keep up the grind!
Thank you Gerard Adams I'm learning a lot off you normally I check everyday day your social media. But like you maybe know 2 days ago we have terrorist attack in Brussel Belgium, it's terrible what's happening here I'm a little afraid that my city is next Amsterdam!! But anyway you are a big inspiration thank you very much!! I hope I can meet you one day so that you can help me a little bit to follow my dream as a entrepreneur.
Thank you for starting this series, too bad I was not aware of it until 4 months ago, but I’m all caught up and I really enjoy watchin it. Keep it up ! Will reach out to you when I need the coach “World-Class” 😎.
Dope series! 27yr entrepreneur. First year in business. Should be fun series to follow along to. Ryan Blair's NTL is gangsta btw. Pick it up! #youngmoney #smallbusiness
Loving this series! Inspring and invaluable advice. I haven't really been watching them in order but each episode is amazing! Would you be willing to share the soundtrack or song choices for each episode by reply or in the description box from now on? Thanks! Love your work.

That was freaking inspiring. 2 of my favorites and most inspiring people I've seen in one video. I will make it, and I will get to call you guys friends.
Gerard, My name is Matt Garry, I'm 18 years old and am looking to accomplish my dreams. Ever since my good friend Kalvin flew out to meet you I've been interested in what it takes to become successful. To be honest with you I've never hit rock bottom before, but there was a time that I came pretty close. It was my junior year of high school, and fitting into a friend group wasn't an option anymore. People were always two faced with me and friends that said they were my friends were merely just shadows that I passed going from class to class. Depression runs deep and I was in the darkest part of the hole where seeing the light was getting harder and harder each day, and life started to seem less and less important to me. My escape from this darkness was golf. I've been golfing ever since I was 6 and my dream has always been to play on the PGA Tour. But it's hard to achieve these dreams when people say, "Do you know how hard it is to become a professional golfer?" Or "There's always going to be someone better than you, why try?" These words nagged at me and brought me further and further into my hole of depression. I was at a time in my life where my game was in shambles and needed a miracle to get out of the mess I was in. Just when I thought there was no hope in going any further in life I met a guy named Dan. Dan is a professional golfer who I had seen around the course many times but never really knew who he was, until one day he approached me. Dan changed my life. He starting inviting me to come out and play with him and became a mentor to me. It was the first time in my life that someone was willing enough to take me under their wing and to show me the ropes. I can still remember the day when he told me something that has stuck with me until this day. My round had started our poorly and he could tell I was frustrated with myself. He turned to me and said "Matt, there are going to be days on this course where you don't want to take another swing, but you can't let the course defeat you. You have to stand up to it and just keep on swinging. But that doesn't only apply to golf, that applies to life too. There are days when you won't want to wake up the next morning because school is dragging you down or your boss just fired you. But you can't give up you have to keep putting one foot in front of the other and never show sign of defeat." I've never had words hit me so powerfully. Dan is a born leader and he made me a leader. He taught me the value of confidence and to never listen to what other people think of you or think you're not good enough to accomplish your goals. I am a strong believer that people come into your life for a reason and I know that Dan came into my life for a specific reason. That reason was for me to keep chasing my dreams until my dreams become reality. I'm thirsty to make it in the big world and Dan put me one step closer to that, and I look forward to waking up the next day to make my next swing. Knowing that where ever it takes me, puts me one step closer to making my dreams become reality. Thanks so much for your inspiring words Gerard.
Hey Gerard, most relatable video I've seen to date. I feel as if im in more so of a rock bottom emotionally, as well as consciously/my perspective on myself and life. Three years later, this video still goes hard. I've been following you for awhile and (since I'm getting over sickness and have time) am now deciding to dive deep into your content. I wanted to watch the three tips on getting a mentor because I really feel I need one right now. Someone who is liked minded but the link is bad. Where can I find it now?
Love what you had to say. I tune into everything you post/share... need to also get my hands on that book. I've had a few mentors that have been helping me get places, my latest ambition is getting an invention of mine patented and into the automotive industry. I'd love to meet you one day, and it will happen... what YOU share relates to ME. One of the neatest people I've ever had the opportunity to meet and learn from was Sal Khan (CEO of Khan Academy). What I learned most from Sal is that whatever you do- you have to be dedicated to it and passionate about it!! and also that true rewards come from your personal success when you help others find their passion. Excited to see what else you got coming and love reading your blog. Appreciate big time your willingness to share with up and coming leaders and entrepreneurs and your drive to inspire us all!!
Hi Gerard. Found you thru Impact Theory. I'd like to do something like what you're doing here for long-distance hiking. Your production on this series is nothing less than amazing. This will really help me. Thank you
Absolutely Love it!
Just what I've been waiting for...
This video make me cry, this is so inspiring!! #LeadersCreateLeaders #latinentrepreneur
Thank you! excited for this series. Fuck watching other shows rather spend my time learning from G

I love it !! Thank you for being an inspiration !!
Thanks for watching!! I'm grateful that this inspired you! What was your favorite part of the video? 💯
The fact that a book can change your life
Hey Gerard, most relatable video I've seen to date. I feel as if im in more so of a rock bottom emotionally, as well as consciously/my perspective on myself and life. I also relate to that rock bottom point you reach where remaining the same hurts more than making posotive change. It's amazing how you went from wanting Ryan Blair to be your mentor, to lounging in a pool with him in the Hollywood hills taking. About "chasing that 3rd comma & becoming legends." My greatest take aways from this video were not only finding solid members to make success inevitable, but also focusing on the process and journey of whatever it is your doing instead of being overly obsessed about the prize and outcome. I also checked out your mentor video, great stuff! My five mentors I would love to have are:-Greg O'Gallagher-RSD Owen-Elliot Hulse-Frank Yang-Gerard Adams ;)Would love to get into contact with Kal Rich at well and GET LIT hahahaha. My birthdays friday. Im promising myself to make posotive change and take control of my life, one small step at a time. Thanks 😘
This was Great!
Great stuff brother. Thanks for the tips. keep on Goiiiing! ✊
+Peter Rodriguez Can't stop, won't stop!
Great Series!! Awesome production, great content and a lot of potential. Can't wait to see what's the future got for you ;)
Dude amazing content! Love the bit about adding value to others and the ripple effects it creates! What’s the name of the song at the end btw?
Three years later, this video still goes hard. I've been following you for awhile and (since I'm getting over sickness and have time) am now deciding to dive deep into your content. I wanted to watch the three tips on getting a mentor because I really feel I need one right now. Someone who is liked minded but the link is bad. Where can I find it now?
great episode to kickoff series!
Awesome start bro!
"Value" the #1 word in this video
Love what you had to say. I tune into everything you post/share... need to also get my hands on that book. I've had a few mentors that have been helping me get places, my latest ambition is getting an invention of mine patented and into the automotive industry. I'd love to meet you one day, and it will happen... what YOU share relates to ME. One of the neatest people I've ever had the opportunity to meet and learn from was Sal Khan (CEO of Khan Academy). You should get him on your video series, his message and his story is incredible and inspiring. What I learned most from Sal is that whatever you do- you have to be dedicated to it and passionate about it!! and also that true rewards come from your personal success when you help others find their passion. This is so rad. I can't wait to see what the future holds. You took a risk and it's starting to pay off isn't it?
+Dakota Edwards Yes, hard work pays off!
Hi Gerard. Found you thru Impact Theory. I'd like to do something like what you're doing here for long-distance hiking. Your production on this series is nothing less than amazing.
