Remember everyone, my twin sisters story is far from over! We are still having a civil trial so that all the facts come out. And if our theory is correct, there is WAY more to this case! Our lawyer doesn't want us saying much more but we will keep people updated as more comes out. One thing I can say, the POS is refusing to participate in the civil trial and hiding facts. Judge fined him $5,000 so far.
And please join me in remembering Kasey....our birthday is five days away (May 25th), we were Gemini.

So sorry for your loss. I have experienced a very traumatic loss on my birthday and since then I have a very hard time when people say happy birthday and I have begged people not to wish me a happy birthday and I have a saying that just because the phrase is happy birthday, it doesn't mean everyone's birthday is a happy one😢 💔 I try to be more cautious of feelings and although I'm not sure if that's the case with you so I send my condolences in place. I am just seeing your comments and this episode of 48hrs but I have seen your sisters case elsewhere and I have never been able to shake the feeling and always felt like the live-in girlfriend knew and was involved. I truly wish you and your family the best possible healing and I hope to see more justice and the right outcome from the civil trial.

Ma`am I do not know anything concerning your case, but I see the replies you have here and I imagine it is about as bad as it can be. I know that nothing will bring your sis back, but maybe the piece of filth guilty of her death will never be free to harm anyone again. I have a hard time with the term "justice" because it is just a word. The hole in you does not close, so justice is nothing more than a word. I think Morgan Freeman said it all in "The Shawshank Redemption". It is a word for you young hotshots to put in your files so you can do your jobs, but rehabilitated is just your fancy little word in your fancy little world. He did not say "justice" but I think you know what I am saying. Hey, I am a Gemini too! So we have that! All the best to you, and I do not say the "I`m sorry for your loss" crap. Those are just words too. And they fall short of any truth.

I lost my older sister unexpectedly from complications from surgery. It is something that makes recovering from her death impossible. My husband and I have lost many family members, but mostly to natural causes. When someone dies due to the fault of another, it's very hard. In this case, the act is so deliberate, and the justice isn't there. They should have given him life without parole. I don't think anyone on a jury, listening to this evidence, would ever think he was innocent.

Not sure why the police didn’t understand why he turned off his phone but kept hers on. He wanted the towers to ping her phone as he drove to the train station, impersonating her. He sat there at the bench for a few min to pretend like “she” was waiting for the train. It’s the whole reason why he parked his car in the lot near the station, so he could drive home once he’s done impersonating her movements.

I kind of thought the same, but if his theory was to throw them off by making them think she jumped on a train, why then drive her phone out to the beach & toss it, still on? I then thought, maybe he wanted to make it look like she jumped over the cliff, but she'd have driven her car there, not the train station. It's possible he's just plain stupid. Fortunately, Kassanndra was on Depo and militant about using condoms. Unfortunately, using both methods, 100 in 1 million women still get pregnant.
But it was never about having kids. Kassanndra told him she didn't want anything from him, no child support, being in the child's life, etc. She didn't need his money, and definitely not his presence. When he ordered her to have an abortion, she asked him to sign away his parental rights. She wouldn't have even named him on the birth certificate. This was a deadbeat dad's dream scenario.
But he's a narcissistic psychopath, and he gave her an order. She refused to obey. So, he killed her. It could have been any order.
That is literally the sole reason.

Due to the plea, the prison system can't release him (WA also doesn't have parole), until he's served 10% less than the full sentence. Which means the prison board (with zero input from the family, loved ones of Kassanndra), can cut him loose, free and clear, in 2044.

26 years is considered "life" in WA, for someone without a prior criminal history. The additional slap in the face for Kassanndra's family is that he wasn't sent to Walla Walla, where he belongs (and where "prison justice" might have been served). He was sent to Clallam, a medium security prison of only 825 inmates who "learn to bake pastries, train dogs, learn light landscaping (meaning they get to be outdoors a lot), have family fun days, and can use the library and computers to earn advanced degrees." And Kassanndra's loved ones get the "privilege" of paying for the killer's comfort.

@@juliecrane9647 Parents should teach their sons about contraception? Is this a joke? Boys have one form on contraception and thats it. And even that is very susceptible to breaking. Whether a girl gets pregnant is almost entirely in her control. Not only does she have a plethora of birth control options, she can even avoid certain days to lower the risk even further.
All a girl has to do is tell a boy who trusts her "Don't worry, I'm on birth control" when in reality she isn't, and that's enough to put him in a situation he doesn't want to be in.
