The audacity of her, acting, gasping for air, stuttering gave second hand embarrassment to me and when detective Burke said, "well i think you're full of crap" I felt a inner satisfaction.
yeah i was thinking the same thing. i have worked in amateur theater for 17 years as a technician and this is the worst acting i have ever seen. and i have done a lot of productions with children 3+ years and mentally disabled people. (wonderful shows but terrible acting)
"Were those tears from what you did to your own life, or what you did to his?" "It's both." That's the best confession I think we'll ever get from this foul woman.
The fact he wore his cologne from their wedding day breaks my heart. He wanted to fix their marriage and was probably looking forward to it since she actually asked him to go on a “date”. Trying to make an effort and do something different, he wore the scent from that special day. Little did he know she is an evil, heartless, women who only cares about herself. So sad!
Awwwww did you feel sad about him cheating on his wife of 20 years?!! And ruining his family for the sex of a 20 year old girl? Or when he removed his daughters from his life insurance and replaced them for his new wife and made her the full beneficiary??
I love how the ex wife spoke honestly and sincerely without any malice or resentment (although both would’ve been warranted and understood). She knew the game Chacey was playing from the beginning, and calmly and eloquently was able to call her out on it and articulate it despite how much heartbreak she’s endured.
@@bunnybgood411 Another shallow (guessing millennial) who's logic/decision making including judge of character is based entirely off physical appearance 😂
I have a lot of respect for Robert’s first wife. She showed a lot of grace and class, despite almost certainly being extremely hurt and devastated by her marriage to him ending because of this awful woman, yet she never spoke anything negative of Robert and in fact she only ever speaks well of him. He absolutely made a mistake when he left her for this abomination of a woman. Edit: Reading a lot of these responses, it seems as though a lot of people think I’m speaking well of Robert. I’m not. The man betrayed his wife and his entire family by cheating on them with this miscreant, Chacey. My admiration and respect is for Robert’s first wife and his children, and not for Robert himself.
Yea, i mean he seems like a good guy to others, but someone who cheats on their wife/husband, really cant be a good person. It would take A LOT for me to cheat on my partner.
For her toe-curling performance in the ambulance, this woman hands-down wins the Bad Theatre Award of the century. To call this amateurish is an insult to hardworking amateurs worldwide.
Killing someone who’s job it is to save lives is just the lowest of low. I give these reporters credit I couldn’t sit in a room with that vile monster of a woman.
Her frantic panicking was the biggest giveaway right away for me. You can tell it was very poorly acted because her words were way too choppy, but she could comprehend and give precise answers. It just didn’t match with her level of hysteria. It’s like when someone fake cries, you can easily tell and read it. Literally the first 60 seconds of this video I knew it was her. Lol
I strongly DISAGREE with your first statement!!!! The cops had her figured out & KNEW she was LYING PRETTY QUICKLY that night, sooo, she's NOT that good of a LIAR OR AN ACTRESS putting on her little ACT!!!!!! IF she had you FOOLED, you're VERY naive OR gullible!!!!! SMDH...

She was a young blonde. I think that is why he wanted to be with her. She was pretending to love him and he fell for it. She only wanted to be with him for his money..
The cheating couple staying together doesn't happen often but it does happen. My dad cheated on my mom and him and my step-mom were married for close to 38 years before she died 2 years ago. I hated her for many years, but because I love my Dad so much, I gave her a chance and they really were in love. My dad still cries everyday and visits her grave twice a week:( so yes it does happen
Wow this woman was not only a home wrecker for Robert initially, she became the literal worst mistake of his life. Such a tragedy on so many levels. I feel sadness for his children and first wife.
No such thing as a home wrecker. He went willingly and unfortunately his little head got him killed. People need to stop thinking with a sexual mind and think with a clear mind. No one can wreck a home that’s standing strong

If he broke up with her and did not cheat on her then there is no issue. People fall out of love, it happens. Why live your life miserable with someone you aren’t happy with? I would be miserable if I was still with my ex that’s why I broke up with her. You only have one life make it good.

The look on her face when the reporter asked "why did you ask him to stop if he was just going to talk to him?. . . unless you knew he was going to be shot"
So glad she was found guilty. While watching this, I was scared a jury would believe her lies. So sorry for Roberts, poor family. I lost my father, which is painful enough, but to know he was murdered by someone he trusted must be horrific.
I don't think she had a chance of getting away with it. A dark road that isn't even a road. Late at night and you called your husband to come there. Then he gets blasted in the head by a stranger that just happened to be hiding in the bushes, but you walk away without a scratch???? Naw I don't think even 12 Idiots would have believed that BS.
That first wife is the epitome of class and beauty. Too bad he wasn't "invested" in the first marriage or he'd still be breathing. Chacey is just plain nasty and evil.
Imagine not knowing what anxiety and fear look like, to the point she thinks that she is successfully faking hyperventilation. Wow. Psychopaths are right charmers until they show themselves.
Her saying “I didn’t want to be married anymore” (and the look when she says it) in the cop car just gives it away. Like you don’t say that if your husband was just murdered by a random person, you either did it or had it set up if that’s on your mind right after.
Why would someone who is trying to convince investigators that she is innocent, say something like that? It doesn't make any sense. Also, I have had panic attacks. They are nothing like this. I could tell that she was lying right away. Normally, I never say that diffinitively, but she is a terrible actress.

When in shock you DO NOT remember EVERY SINGLE DETAIL. Your mind goes blank, your brain immediately starts trying to block out the trauma. It's one of the reasons witness statements are unreliable, it's also why you can have 4 ppl see it and get 4 different stories. Then she is screaming, "is my husband ok? I need to know if my husband is okay!” they hadn't even got there yet and if she saw him get shot, she knew he wasn't ok. And lastly, she continued to talk like she was out of breath or hyperventilating, but looking at her chest you could see that she was breathing normally
The yelling "is he okay? I need to know if he's ok?" is in a way trying to make the police believe she isn't involved, the whole thing she is doing is acting. Very badly but still acting none the less.
@@christenbowen437 I know that so what are you talking about? I was agreeing that she is lying and acting. She remembered way too much detail and the fake hyperventilating was over the top. What part of what I said did you not understand that you're trying to explain to me the obvious?
@@lezbnlvr2051 respectfully you sound off the rails a tad. On a side note- remembering details alone isn’t a sign of being guilty. Plenty of people remember traumatic events. Like, down to what underwear they were wearing. The information she told was what the problem was. There’s quite a few more steps and additives than just remembering. UA-cam detectives just parrot whatever they saw in the comment section, I’m sure this is similar. You guys all repeat the same thing into the ground when it’s typically not that relevant. Just sit and learn like everyone else, you don’t have to overexplain and then plow through others for doing the same in the above comment for agreeing with you. I fully believe this woman did it, but there’s like 7 other factors I’d think was more incriminating than remembering details of the apparent stranger of the woods shooting.
@@anonymoususer5266 no it isn't a sign of being guilty, remembering every single detail is. They only reason ppl do it is to appear less guilty. It's like telling the cops every SINGLE thing that you did down to the minute on the day your wife went missing, no one holds every detail like that down to the minute. If I'm off the rails, then so is every forensic psychologist that also says this. I'll give you an example. A woman calls the cops after being knocked out. As soon as they arrive she tells them that she was cooking when 3 men ran through the door and hit her in the head. She gave very detailed descriptions before screaming for her child. When you sustain an injury like that, you can't recall everything that you did before getting hit. Her giving the detailed descriptions and then screaming for the child was the dead give away. She had deleted her child. This is also the reason that witness statements aren't that reliable. Your brain immediately begins to try and protect itself or you from the trauma that it endured or witnessed. If 3 different ppl witness a horrible crime, they will give 3 different accounts. It's not that I'm off the rails, it's that you have no knowledge of what you're talking about. I wanted to be a forensic psychologist but I had a very traumatic event happen in my life and that changed my course but I did study behavioral psychology. Not everyone reacts the same to certain situations but deceit is universal. Too much information is only given when you're trying to make someone believe you. You offer up details that you didn't need to. The truth is usually short, sweet and to the point. I also think being a diagnosed Psychopath also helps me to find the lies. I just think about what I would have done or said if I were lying and trying to cover my tracks, if I didn't know how to.
@@lezbnlvr2051 that’s BS. Some people can remember every detail, some can’t. The brain is mysterious and you can’t say what every single person ever will or will not do.

Same with Casey Anthony. A lot of people now think she’s innocent after her new doc. They’re lacking critical and logical thinking skills and letting their sympathy for her control their opinion instead of the cold hard facts.
@@LivingDeadGirl0702 Yes, the hyperventilating in the first 3 seconds. Have you EVER heard anyone hyperventilate like that? It is obvious she was trying to imitate somebody and over acted it out. They may not be perfect, you may not be perfect, no one’s perfect..yet loving each other beyond everything, that is what you should cherish. And in the end, save your life.
That's the thing: the men going after the young hens make their choice. No matter the result (I'm guessing at least a 75% failure rate), it was their decision to travel down the path. Some of the "relationships" end tragically. Clearly. It all starts with a CHOICE.
Not to mention that it's kind of obvious that if a woman is pursuing you aggressively knowing very well you have an entire wife and kids, that she isn't a trustworthy or stable person on any level. Like, there is guaranteed to be something extremely wrong with that woman. Do they just think they're going to leave their entire wife and kids for a woman like that and have a good time? He knew he made the wrong choice and had to allow himself to feel like he was worth being happy again before he finally was willing to walk away from the marriage but unfortunate for him she (Chacey) wasn't going to allow that. She was after that money all along hence to why she guilted him or manipulated him into changing his life insurance policy. This is not a black and white situation. I want to know how she tried to explain the random lurker. Then the random dude apparently watched her struggle and sit in the car for a while. Then the random dude shot her husband the minute he showed up. Then the random dude just disappeared without killing her, too. Makes a lot of sense.
This woman is truly insane. Why would you go from being the grieving widow to telling the police about your marriage problems at that time and place.SMH!!
If you give Chacey a set of false lashes and curly blonde hair she’s a dead ringer for Miss Piggy. It would be extremely frustrating to know your husband was leaving you for *that* .
Sometime in the 80s or 90s, Redbook magazine interviewed Paulina Porizkova. When asked about her affair and eventual marriage to The Cars front man, Ric Ocasek, she said, "at least his first wife can say he didn't leave her for a cow". So, no matter if its with Miss Piggy or former supermodel, cheating husbands suck.
It was obvious she was involved from the get-go. When I learned she was his mistress turned new wife, that sealed it for me. Cheating ain't worth it man.
His daughter talking about missing the simple things like a phone conversation is so true. Prayers for Robert's children, family (including his first wife) and friends. I hope his baby girl still has a relationship with her big sisters.
I love that the dad believed his daughter when she told him his wife was cheating on him. It either shows how much he loved his daughter or how little he loved his wife, regardless, he picked the right side and that's the true measure of a man.
Everyone should believe their child then once proven wrong or lying then they should question why. I love my husband and do not believe he would ever hurt my son (his step son) but if he ever came to me and said "mommy my stepdad is doing something I don't agree with or don't like." I would take him seriously every time.
@@andreyasdus7629 There are so many stories where a parent will take their spouse's side regardless of what anybody may tell them, including their own children. Either way, I'm glad he didn't assume she was making it up or something like a lot of parents do.
Wow, the interviewer said "look at me" gave me chills. the look in his eyes and his tone to me, sounded like he was expressing real empathy for the victim and his family but while sounding like a fatherly tone toward her if that makes sense.
*This is my mother.* I had enough sense to terminate the relationship with her completely at age 30. She abused everyone out of her life and then screamed she was the “victim.” My father divorced her after 23 yrs. of her predation. She spun this reality into, “He deserted his family and left us PENNILESS!” Um, no. We, the kids were out of the house and totally self-supporting. She got *everything.* And she still whined about him and her “victimhood” until her death decades later.
This is what happens when you leave your wife who stuck by you through your ups and downs to be with a 22 year old! So many innocent people left with wounds that'll never heal
First of all, stop being emotional. You don't know what his life was like with his first wife. Men are always judged. Had it been the other way around. You would've said the woman was empowered if she had gotten with a younger man
@@mr.vibes938 Stop being so sensitive. He blew up his marriage and there's no excuse for that. What a fool. I don't feel sorry for him TBH. Just his loved ones. And I'd say the same thing if it was the other way around and a wife left her husband for a much younger man which is pretty rare
I don't think this is what routinely happens in cases of infidelity with a much younger partner. This is an extreme case. He clearly made an error of judgement, but he wasn't to know that she was a manipluative murderer. It is a very sad story. I also wonder whether the guy that fired the shot would have ever murdered in his lifetime had he not met her.
The biggest strength of psychopaths is also their biggest weakness which is their complete inability to feel empathy which both enables them to manipulate people to get what they want from them but it also makes them unable to act empathetic and normal human emotions when confronted about their actions and crimes, causing them to completely expose their vindictive, malevolent actions and crimes.
"I didn't want to be married anymore." And "He was trying to take my daughter away." That's all you need to know. She was also jealous that he still loved his ex-wife.
Imagine the regret he must have felt leaving his 20 YEAR MARRIAGE and family he built with his ex-wife for almost 2 decades for a woman half his age because she gave him attention... and it falls apart within 3 years.... 🥴
That’s why he kept fighting. He didn’t want to admit he made a mistake. He didn’t want the “I told you so” looks from his family. His pride kept him in that marriage. Terrible all around.
If the plan was “just to talk to him,” why do it on some empty backroad? It blows my mind that people think these weak stories are going to fly with the police.
My heart breaks for Robert and his girls. It’s such an exceptionally cruel crime to lure him out to the middle of nowhere thinking his wife is stranded and only to be executed by two lowlifes. I truly can't understand how a person can pretend to love a partner while, at the same time, cheating with others. What kind of love is this?!
It's not love, it's lust and selfishness.

Specifically, would you point out what it was that made her seem so unbelievable? Just curious what it was for you.. I also don't believe her the more I watch, but I can't put my finger on it... I DID believe her at first, for the first couple mins... But after that i felt as though she was lying, again tho I can't put my finger on WHY. Maybe just over acting? ✌️✌️
Also when the officer got on scene she was like um, my husband, he um. No it was over acting like I was watching a movie. I can't explain it other than to say life experience with people. Also, watching a lot of crime shows and remembering how the people acted before anyone knew they were guilty. It is hard to fake being real.
What a piece of work she is. My heart bleeds for the first family and for the girls who lost their father.
I can’t find a single credible word from her.
I'll never understand how a defense attorney can defend a person when they are guilty without a shadow of a doubt, There's zero doubt she did it and you can still defend that person somehow.
Ideally, defense attorneys just make sure that a defendant's basic legal rights are not violated and that all procedures are properly followed.
You really want attorneys picking and choosing to defend clients based on their personal opinions? It is imperative for defense attorneys to be impartial and mount the best defense possible.
Anybody has the right to a defense regardless.
It is a constitutional right for a defense to represent the accused. The prosecutors represent the people of the State and the citizens of the County.
@@chrislastname1994you're right. The truth has nothing to do with it
I don't understand men who go waaaayyyy out of their age bracket to leave wives that have been devoted and stable. She's going to leave you for someone closer to her age when you can't deliver like a young stud. Why is this so hard to understand? I'm not blaming him, but I'm just puzzled by this behavior in any shape or form it comes.
This is what I do not understand about some men. They have it all, the loyal amazing wife, amazing children..and yet, it’s not enough? Now this hero is dead. I implore any man, that is currently married, with a family who loves you..DONT. STOP. WARNING. RED FLAGS. DANGER. DEATH. Learn from this horrible situation. Be Thankful n Humble for the family you have that loves you.
The EGO and the thrill
Not to mention that it's kind of obvious that if a woman is pursuing you aggressively knowing very well you have an entire wife and kids, that she isn't a trustworthy or stable person on any level. Like, there is guaranteed to be something extremely wrong with that woman. Do they just think they're going to leave their entire wife and kids for a woman like that and have a good time? To act shocked when she cheats? LOL I just don't feel bad for this guy. He's obviously not stable either to be leaving his family and entire life for someone half his age who is obviously a nut case. Such a lame man.
Kinda like why women go for married men or rich men when they have it all
Her fake anxiety attack is hilarious. That’s not how my real ones do.

The ex wife ❤ what a class act! Chapeau
big props to the former wife of robert for being so well-poised in the face of such difficulties. as for Chacey, aren't you disappointed in yourself? big love to the firehouse crew and all of robert's children.
She is not. Ashamed of anything she’s done, I mean. She has convinced herself of the rightness and necessity of everything she’s done to anyone with the misfortune to cross her path. The word for it is ‘confabulation’ and it’s ubiquitous among those who live with BPD.

This hurt my soul to watch. Not only is she a homicidal freak, I simply cannot believe she thought she was convincing. It's gross.

It's a good thing she is a bad liar, otherwise she might have gotten away with it..
Still trying to convince people by doing this interview!! Pathetic! 😖
I havent ever been on a vacation with my partner. cant imagine someone taking me to mexico. she threw so much away
This actually happened on a backroad that we used to go to party on when we were teenagers and there's no houses or anything around there. You could be out there all night and no cars would ever go by. This is just crazy.

They’ll never parole her if she doesn’t confess and admit what she did. Never ever ever. Same with Pamela Smart, Diane Downs, and Betty Broderick. All 3 women’s parole dates have come and gone and none have admitted guilt or remorse… so they have all stayed locked up.
Same will happen to this nitwit

A good man doesn't leave his wife of 20 years and children for a 22 year old imho.
So many people think the grass is greener on the other side only to find out too late that it isn't.
Sadly, the innocent family members suffer the most.
Praying for the family to find peace.
But that’s exactly what he did.
Lol do what!!?? Him and his first wife had been together since high school, and for years! Then this manipulative hot lil 20 yr old pursues him day after day. She knew exactly what she was doing from the very beginning. And I don't know what world you're living in but given all the circumstances he was only human and so weak. She was never going to let him leave because she knew she wasn't going to walk away with all the money and her daughter because she was a lying cheating evil sadistic psychopath. His ex-wife his daughters his friends his coworkers the community they all know that he was a good man and he just felt weak and made a bad choice and it ultimately cost his life. I've lived in Royse City for over 10 years, and our police department has always been amazing!! Detective Burke and the responding officers were definitelt on their game that night. RIP, Robert. 💔
I want to know how she tried to explain the random lurker. They were in a very remote area, where vehicles were likely to get stuck, yet somehow this random dude made his way out there without a vehicle in sight. Then the random dude apparently watched her struggle and sit in the car for a while. Then the random dude shot her husband the minute he showed up. Then the random dude just disappeared without killing her, too. Makes a lot of sense.
You have laid out the narrative so well 😂😂😂
She watched too many horror B flicks. She thought this is normal 😂
I thought I was the only one, to see that she reminds of a piggy. Her nose.😉👍
You nailed it! One photo of her makes her nose look like Miss Piggy 🤭
OMG i thought the exact same.. MISS PIGGIES SPITTING IMAGE.
it's insane how much she resembles her.
Exactly.

The big mistake he made was leaving his wife. May he RIP

What a horrible person. First she tears a family apart and then throws him away. She's heartless. She never even thought of her own daughter.
I believe the father was the one who tore his family apart
I get it but he threw his family away. He got with someone who had no problem sleeping with a married man but then was surprised Pikachu when she cheated.
It was a normal thing for her, she saw him do it. The double standards are mindblowing

Yes I like when he said that. He was demanding her eye contact while asking her that question
You would've said the woman was empowered if she had gotten with a younger man
@@mr.vibes938
Stop being so sensitive.

The rule applies even if you have a miserable life
Exactly
The biggest strength of psychopaths is also their biggest weakness which is their complete inability to feel empathy which both enables them to manipulate people to get what they want from them but it also makes them unable to act empathetic and normal human emotions when confronted about their actions and crimes, causing them to completely expose their vindictive, malevolent actions and crimes.
You're very naive.
Psychopathic criminals who can use empathy to their advantage are usually not caught.

My heart breaks for Robert and his girls. It’s such an exceptionally cruel crime to lure him out to the middle of nowhere thinking his wife is stranded and only to be executed by two lowlifes.
