Yes !!!MORE 6.0 content please. These trucks are coming back in a big ..I assume because people have figured them out. You have a nice reliable truck for way cheaper than a new or duramax/cummins. Most important pre emissions
Traction bars or some anti-wrap is a big deal for towing. I've had a 7.3 zf6, stock height, it wrapped pretty good towing. There's videos out there watching it wrap from underneath.
This conversation has settled my stomach on buying 6.0's. I'm getting a diesel truck eventually, I was 80% considering a 7.3l, 5% Cummins, 10% 6.7l PS, and 5% 6.0l. Now I'm 40% 7.3l, 40% 6.0l, 15% 6.7l PS, and 5% Cummins. I was scared to buy them because I blew up my 6.4l, and like the 7.3l IDI, 6.4's are just the bored out previous motor. The only real problem for me is saving up the money and finding/buying the right truck. Thanks KC!
Lifters always take out the cam. Every single one I've seen. I've replaced lots of 6.0s for it. There's usually a warning sign. The screen gets damaged on the ipr, etc. I've found solid needle bearings in the pan before.
What size injectors do u recommend on a 06 f350 lariat sbcc with 182k miles that would have a stage 2 kc hetfire 10 bladw turbo? 190/30 ? What other mods do you recommend for that setup besides a corresponding tune.
You won’t make it to 600 off of a stage 2 and 190’s. Unless you have it dyno tuned, built trans, supporting mods for fuel and air, possibly a cam too. Will be a lot easier to achieve 600 hp with less mods like 205’s with full fuel system, and a stage 3 turbo or non vgt setup.
@@connerwilcox6278 yea your right lol, but after a while it’ll let go after some abuse. My buddy’s truck is 600-650hp and it just quit on him after 3-4 years of abuse
@@loganuitdenbogaard9802 I was waiting two months for my kdd stage 2 cam and I emailed them for an eta and they said there was no eta at that time, so I canceled my order and had a river city diesel stage 2 cam at my front door 5 days later.
I can promise the 6.4 will run without oil till the bearings fail, oil change place didn’t tighten pan plug, , they did make it right and I got a ford crate motor to replace it. Thankfully, some day I’ll get to replace the turbos with Kc’s , but not till I get my 6.0 back on the road
Please keep the 6.0 content coming ❤🙏
Where do we find out more on this compound turbo, toy hauler towing, 10 second street truck?

High Output Alternator before you do anything else. It solves a lot of problems.
Yooooo that video of that black 6.4 is in my hometown dmas Maryland! Safeway parking lot. The odds

hopefully people heed the warning signs
Another 6.4 add-on part the transmission pan filter upgrade.

Also has mbrp 4" turbo back straight pipe exhaust. My goal is to get to 600hp and around 1,000ft lbs torque.

This isn't a dodge, we don't need a built trans for 600hp

@@DieselObsession pretty impressive honestly
Had a stage 2 jet fire in my cart for my 6.0. Throttle got stuck on the floor mat and I ended up in the woods :/
That sucks about your truck, but glad to hear you are okay!
I’ve been wanting to do kdd stage 2 cam. Is this a drop in cam and does it mess with emissions? I unfortunately live in CA
I have one on mine, it’s a drop in cam. Just double check your valve clearance and you should be good to go.
Did you notice a difference? Have one coming right now
And how long did it take to come lol.. been over 2 months

@@loganuitdenbogaard9802oh yeah definitely top in power upgrade worth it.

7.3 Excursion WAS my next buy, after watching this, might have to go 6.0. Have had 3x 7.3s. Love and am keeping my '16 6.7.
Great vid! Thanks!!
