  • We were having a problem with this particular car on getting it running properly. Dave figured out most of it and here’s a little explanation on the carburetor and how everything works on this particular set up. Sorry for the sound quality

    this is why the carbs was removed and EFI was bring on
    some of these M110 engines are equipped with BOSCH D-Jet EFI, you can find and bolt on

      Great idea putting an analog efi system with an extremely complicated pre micro processor era ecu. If you want less trouble go with the k jet instead which is also what replaced the d jet from 1976 onwards at least on w116

      @@288gto7 I believe this is the biggest mistakes Mercedes did, to downgrade from EFI to k-jet.
      D-jet EFI is so easy to upgrade (the ECU only) to bring the fuel system to todays standards.

    Hi please try changing the on line fule filter the other way, the opposite way to the arrow. I have seen this on my lawnmower, new filter not working when arrows facing the correct way 😉

    I have 1975 28C
    Lots of problem with carb or timing , car is not running at all , i am frustrated with this !

    Солекс 4а1 наверное один из самых новороченных карбюраторов,а кто нибудь ставил его на более обьёмные двигателя?
