We invited John and Bev of the "Retirement Travelers" to be our guests in Umbria during their travels through Italy and spend 3 nights with us! We had so much fun getting to know each other and of course we took them to all our favorite sites and restaurants!
We had a lot of questions for them regarding their new lifestyle so we sat down and did a little Q&A .

John points out correctly in this video it's always "fun" seeing what other retired travelers are doing and how their living. We also love keeping a home base to return to. How nice to see you hosting John and Bev, as I told you in your 1st video that my boyfriend and I are looking into retiring to Italy, I have been researching retirement visas, so I will definitely be looking at your videos for help. I will check out John and Bev's channel.

Always interesting to get other perspectives on moving to Italy. Your home is beautiful and I admire your journey to get there. My wife and I hope to return one day.
Though totally not planned, we have found the buying process in Italy interesting to say the least. We will be sharing our experiences in a future video and hopefully it continue to inspire your trip back to this beautiful country🇮🇹

I was an exchange student to Argentina, Stijn, and I loved it!!! But because of family and friends both in Argentina and here in the US, I really want to go to Italy to see what it's like for myself. I also have a Europress coffee maker and carry it with me when I travel!

My husband will try for Italian citizenship through descent as his grand parents are from Genoa. Your channel is so inspiring ❤ I think you and your husband are great!!!
