Dude! You deserve the Nobel Prize for being so creative! The cost of actual Snow Chains for my Tacoma is ridiculous, I needs me that money for booze, drugs and da ladies, but seriously, needed these badly this morning so I thank you very much!$
Great idea - practical, light and cheap, I think even one per wheel is enough 👍
Something like this would work in a pinch but not recommended for driving more than a couple hundred feet. I see that at the end of the video one of your chains flew off. Good idea, just need to perfect it.
Heavier duty straps probably.

На видео, по моему, и так отлетела одна цепь. а так да, лютый пиздец, цепи и ремни значительно крепче рвутся на ура.
Автору надо было вырезать в конце видео - где видно. как рвутся эти сопли.
quick corrections - 1 ) the chains should be all steel, the rubber thing wont last. 2 design should be such that the chains are entangled in each spoke of the alloy wheel , so that they are in their place and do not move.

And if you think about replacing them by metalic chains or wire , it's a badest idea, because the strong pression on the wheel rim will horribly damage it!

S. we have cold temperatures which means snow and ice, these thingys are called Snow Chains, they are very much needed to traverse our beautiful back country, but I can see how you wouldn’t need, care or understand about these thingys, when all YOU need is your camel to get you through the sand in your shit hole country, have a nice day.🖕🏾
