He’s written out of the main comic just like all the other straight, black characters. See Storm or Bishop anywhere? Their “Diversity” is a joke.
I'd like to see Synch, Monet, Iceman and Sunspot end up as regulars in one of those books.

Someone needs to interview Jonathan Hickman and get him to tell us his endgame was for xmen. I want to know what his plan was before it went crazy.
Storm needs to be treated like Marvel's Wonder Woman. She needs her own rogues gallery.
If she's going to survive as a solo character, they're going to have to come up with some good villians for her. Original bad guys, specific to her, not just recycled X-baddies. Frankly, I'm not sure they're up to it.
@seannyhan2254 well they can always recycle Mystique. That being said yeah they definitely need to create new characters. They can go the route of mystical rather than mutants. Maybe the classic corporative villain like a Roxxon executive. Climate change could be a good subject.
Agreed, and it was already being built for her in X-Men Red. Hopefully they use some of the same cast
Storm bloodline has ties to Oshtur mother or Agamotto, and Egypt. Maybe use Apocalypse as mentor of sorts.

Mystical? I bailed on Krakoa early, so I'm not up to speed. Storm get some magic? Could be fresh soil for some conflict. Personally, I hope they steer clear of corparate villians. I haven't enjoyed that when it's been done in other comics. Let her take on some heavy hitters - Doom, Kang, Dormamu, Morgan Le Fay. Ororo's a force of nature. Give her someone who's in her weight class. I think a mistake they made, early on, with Captain Marvel, was never giving her somone to puch up against. Hate to see them repeat it with Storm.
A lot of people are saying they don’t care about their race but as a black man I completely disagree. It’s literally a story about people being treated different cause they are a different race. Let’s get some color
Exactly. Bishop and to a lesser extent but nonetheless, Storm have been consistently written poorly or straight up taken out of the main titles over the last twenty years for bogus reasons. Tell me you don’t like black peoples or men in particular without telling me, writers not named Chris Claremont. 🤦🏾♂️ Who, I might add, has always brought Bishop back into the fold and has written him superbly.
I agree,I'm a black male too and want to see more colors on the team also. The X-Men being white makes me question why would other white people hate their own. How do regular people know who's a mutant or not ??? Not unless you tell them,huh ??? It's a metaphor for black citizens and how they've been treated the last 200 yrs in america. Some folks say differently,who'd know better how it feels to be persecuted for being born different.
They're MUTANTS. That's not different enough ? They have to be mutants , trans, and black to meet your criteria ? lol that book's gonna SJCK...and be canelled due to shit LOW sales in under 5 minutes

Overall there are so few black males xmen. Bishop shows here and there. Tries to kill babies. And fades away.
Yeah, could add bishop to any of these teams as major improvement.
Where is Bishop
Written out of the book just like they do all the straight, black characters in X-Men now. Including Storm. Bishop has been consistently disrespected by so many writers who apparently are scared of black men in particular (Yes. I went there). This started in the late 90’s at the end of the 2nd Phalanx storyline concurrent with Operation Zero Tolerance. Ever since then, it’s only been Chris Claremont, the Godfather of The Uncanny X-Men, who consistently brings him back into his books and uses him correctly (Maximum Security, X-Treme X-Men, Revolution Era/X.S.E.). They even went so far as to make him a narc for the government and a child murderer. Sick. So much for “Diversity”. 🤦🏾♂️

NGL, after the dope concepts we've seen during the Krakoa age this all seems like a huge step back. Sucks that ppl and teams in comics aren't allowed to grow and evolve.

Krakoa was a mistake, imo. The X-Men turned their back on humanity and effectively became an extension of the Brotherhood.
@@RokuroCarisuI think people mean, let's have them learn from the mistakes and build on the actual character development many got. It'd be OK with me if Krakoa era wraps up with a reset but with 1 mutant surviving it and bringing the knowledge back for others to get it right (e.g., I suspect that may be what the M'kraan crystal shard Prodigy got stuck with will allow him to do, but just speculating).
Xavier's absence from solicits makes me think something goes way left in Moira's past, but with these previews I hope they're hiding that some other mutants founded a version of Krakoa and figured Xavier shouldn't be let in on it, or how it went down in the 10th life of Moira that all was erased.
Maybe this whole new line will have a history that played out with an Arakko being brought back and having fairly parallel developments.
My belief since Krakoa started was that I didn't care if it was destroyed only that mutant sovereignty remained. I was gonna drop all x titles if everyone returned to that damn mansion😭. The McKay X-Men series looks like it implies they are somewhere solely unto themselves. Hopefully they treat Arrako as the general homeland for mutants which would give individual stories the space needed for specific teams or characters on earth

I was hoping that some of the Brotherhood got new costumes to go with this idea. If there is sovereignty then new costumes for the mutant antagonists as well. And yes, mansion needs to be gone.

-The Sewer Lair for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
They may move away for a while, but like 2300 Jackson Street, it’s always home and they return. Plus, you can’t beat the Danger Room, The War Room, and the Blackbird rising from below the basketball court/swimming pool.

We definitely have to support it sales wise. I know she had a title before… but it didn’t do well in sales. And that story has to live up to the character of Storm. I hope they explore her magical ancestry and overall power set. It would be interesting to see what direction they take her. Diplomat? Queen? Leader of Arrako?

@@ampocalypsew3883 facts. How you build up on Krakoa and Arrako, then they just disappear. We will have to wait and see. But I would have liked it if we kept sword, or X-men red. Those titles did not disappoint. It was a core team, different setting with good character development.
Its not looking good that we've seen 2 "teasing the future" covers of her in a bland ass suit and regressive mohawk.
I don't mind the idea of seeing the politics being the Voice of Sol...but it's lookin like all of Ewing work and set-ups are about to ignored. And forcing her out of the fight for mutants to be trying out politics....looks like an excuse to write her out of the main X-Men plot....again.

I wasn't going to follow X-men comics as much as I do now after the Krakoan Era. But with the announcement of Storm getting here own book I'm back in again. Wherever Storm goes I go. I hope her book will be more about her developing her god-head and exploring her magical potential, carrying us deeper into her African ancestry and get a better understanding of herself because of it. And at the end of the run, Storm is no longer just an X-men, that title only shackled her. She is now an Entity. Like Jean Grey with the Phoenix force or Wanda with chaos magic. But knowing Marvel, they're probably not going that route with the character 😒.
I agree completely! The story has to live up to the legacy of Storm. Can marvel get it right? Idk. She was never portrayed right in film either… I hope they do her justice. They have been doing a great job so far. I hope they build on that.
Yes they need to be ambitious. Let Storm stand on her own, bring in familiar faces but also introduce new ones.
THIS. Storm's solo series doesn't need to be just another X-Men book like her last short lived series; her life away from the X-Men should be the main focus of the book.
I lean more Hickman/Krakoa fan anyway so I’m not particularly excited about the relaunch (though I will check it out) but I think your points are very valid. I get why Marvel wanted to make their flagship titles have mainstream appeal, but I wonder why not add Bishop since he’s a 90s staple and is in X-Men 97 anyway? In fact, even Sunspot will be.
At least I get Kwannon on X-men and a Storm book. I will count my blessings.

I agree. I do like that storm and phoenix getting there own titles. Also hoping x-factor and x-force gets some justice. But these core titles…just seems meh compared to what was happening on Krakoa.
Only one I’m looking forward to is Exceptional X-Men. Eve never disappoints. Of the secondary titles, just X-Factor and Storm, the former because the title almost always reinvents itself in fun ways.

Rogue, Emma and Kitty in leardership positions is always nice. At the same time, the lack of Synch, Darwin, and Monet at centerstage is definitely sad considering how much was poured into them in the Krakoan Era. I was really excited to see these three fully in their stride for a GOOD amount of time before returning to extremely established characters. For example, I really would’ve like a better resolution with Darwin’s arch regarding his existential sense of responsibility encapsulated by his unique role/ability (esp. against ever evolving AI) and how that impacts his idea of himself as a mutant and the relationships formed thus far (vault n otherwise). I wanted some more issues from his POV with inner monologue regarding that.
Too bad there are no Arakii characters or Rasputin
I sincerely hope there's surprises in store with the nations of Krakoa and Arakko having happened without the X-Men (or as many villains) based on it/running it. Maybe Rasputin made it over.
I want them to keep the Arrako mutants too and expand their lore more
Words cannot express how disinterested I am in this current X-Men direction.
I was at the presentation for this at SXSW, and they said at the panel that Melee is the Asian teen. Also: Temper's name refers to something getting stronger when "tempered" like steel.
These new books sound interesting, I'd still rather have them on Krakoa and I think Krakoa 2 would have made more sense.
I wonder if Krakoa II will be revealed later, with an alternate history (due to Xavier's actions with Moira) that excluded Xavier, Moira, the X-Men, etc. hence why they're out across the US like this.
The lack of diversity just feels like a step backward. I wish Hickman continued to write this series because he really brought the titles back to life. Id be curious to know what becomes of the mutants of Arakko after Krakoa-era is done

I’m not a fan. There are so many characters that could have been incorporated. Bishop, gentle, sync, prodigy, and then where is Darwin? Why create new characters, when there are other characters that have been around that could be developed? Armor comes to mind. Also beyond that, I know many didn’t like the krakoan age, but I loved the development of not only the characters, but the mutant nation. This feels like a step back. I could be wrong. Have to read it. Hoping the other characters are involved somehow in the other X titles. I agree, the last X-factor run was amazing. It would have been great to see Krakoa as a base and teams developed from there. Or even teams separated in different parts of the world, as it seems to be in this upcoming run, with the base being Krakoa… I would have also be down for the narrative to take a different spin as well. We shall see. Hoping the quality of the story is even better than before. But so far I’m underwhelmed. These teams just look blah.
I agree that this does feel like a step backwards. I may not have read every krakoan age book and know it was far from perfect, I still enjoyed it because seeing the X-Men and mutant population take their lives into their own hands, united( for better or worse), succeeding and happy was great. But you have youtubers like ThinkingCritical & JustSomeGuy bitching about it's gone on for "too long" or saying its the worst era of X-Men as well as other people saying they aren't heroes anymore because they weren't going to take the abuse anymore. They're entitled to their opinion and don't have to like it, but I'm allowed to disagree with it and the same applies me. It wouldn't surprise me if X-Men ashes is a response to fans wanting the status quo to return. But who nose maybe it might surprise us.
@@devinhamb6586 it might. Like you, the narrative of them taking there lives in there hands and being more intentful hit home for me. I’m so tired of the narrative of trying to appease humans. It has gotten nowhere and the that arc is so over done. We get it. Humans don’t like mutants. Let’s move on. At this point, especially with what’s happening with Orchis, the X-Men should really not care about human relations. If this is central to these new stories, then yes, in my opinion, it will be a huge step back

They did have some valid points such as the fact that they barely acted like superheroes anymore, especially with them putting a price on one of their cures to all of human diseases and also threatening to hurt other humans who didn't agree with their methods
There's also arguments to be made that they gaslit some of their other heroic allies such as the fantastic four, avengers and even Spider-Man (no thanks to Zeb Wells) who has long been their friends/allies yet we got instances where that was the exact opposite and we even get resentment (could be misremembering)
I mean it was nice seeing the mutants actually look out for their own for once but I could have did without them thinking themselves Superior to everyone else.

There was also the fact that friendships between characters weren't really brought up and we never got interactions with the other Heroes
The whole Steve Rogers and Emma Frost thing was just weird
Spidey and wolverine barely interacted and I can't remember that we ever got a Spider-Man, Iceman and firestar reunion
The X-Men's relationship with Spider-Man was one of the most underwhelming aspects about the Krokoan era, especially considering wolverine's friendship with the character along with Iceman and firestar
The whole chasm storyline was awful and was not a good way of bringing Spider-Man and the X-Men together, specially since they still don't even remember him
The only X-Men who seems to know Peter's identity as Spider-Man seems to be wolverine, NOT Iceman or firestar who've had a much closer relationship with the character since they were teammates in amazing Friends
I do appreciate the current uncanny avengers title and cap and rogue interacting like the old days, nice to see that avengers and X-Men can work together.

I mean why in the world would the X-Men team up and work with their villains?
Especially ones like apocalypse, sinister, Omega sentinel, Sebastian Shaw etc.
Storms book won't last 25 issues and that's me being generous.

I’m so hyped for Storm’s comic! 😁 I like how they busy out all these X-men and mutants of color during Krakoa era and now all of sudden the teams are all white again, I get some of the most popular mutants are white but they got a lot of white non-popular mutants too like, what??
Wow! All I can say is this: Listening to your schpeel/spiel is as far as I'm willing to go on the subject cuz I won't be purchasing any of those comics period. Secondly, I certainly hope they don't feel the pressure from our side of the tracks in terms of filling a quota cuz Storm isn't gonna cut it. They can do whatever the 7-H3lls they want. Its their product, their show, just don't expect my participation in any form. As for the rest of you out there, it's target-audience just might not include people of Afrikan descent.

I don’t know if I’m being paranoid or not, but since Synch’s comeback and core storyline since then was in the Krakoan age, I have this feeling the X office wants to stay away from him. :( I hope I’m wrong because he’s one of my favorites.

The dream's over; Storm's hair is straight again and Bishop, Sunspot, Moonstar, Monet, Synch, Darwin, Frenzy, Sunfire, Thunderbird and Manifold, to name a few, are no where in sight. Though I am glad that Kwannon has continued to be placed in the forefront as Psylocke and Betsy's appropriation is over. I'm curious if they'll resolve her Identity in X-Men 97 too.
Just to add my 2 cents as a Jewish man; Kate Pryde is Jewish, which makes her a minority. I understand visually she is white (as am I), but especially in this day and age, being Jewish is like a four letter word, and I feel that having her in any book is very important. That said, I agree that diversity needs to be better represented for the core concept of the "X" books as people who are hated, feared, misunderstood, "different", etc.
She’s also one of the few superheroes to say the N word on at least 3 occasions.

@@theonlykog true, they were all from Claremont and the were in the funniest of circumstances. The last was in a new mutants issue where a closeted mutant acquaintance commits suicide due to bullying. At the kids funeral she compares the word mutie to real life slurs such as the N and F slurs. Claremont was trying to be poignant and relate bigotry of mutants to real life bigotry and you can’t get to mad at it cause it was written in 1985 and had good intentions but it’s hilarious when read in a modern context and that kitty is just dropping slurs at this poor kids funeral in front of hundreds of people. Also when she says she’s an N word lover to Stevie is unintentionally hilarious.

I say this from mountain of Fiji. Krakoa era was golden!!! It had its ups and down. But they kicked fucking ass!!! They was out here Banging Mutants with they chest and I loved every minute. I’m so sad. However glad I got to witness it in tea time. Salute to you my Mutants 🫡🙅🏾♂️( shout out wakanda too)

I think it's pretty interesting that we don't see "Magneto's" face in that helmet. Seems like a step back to put Xavier back in a chair and derivative to put Magnus/Erik/Max into a chair. I'm going to guess that the man in the chair is Synch.
I'm definitely in for a Sam Guthrie Cannonball led XFORCE team with Sunspot and Moonstar, Karma, Feral, Rictor....Jessee Aaronson. Warpath, Magma...Magik...Cypher...Sam has always been their best leader imo.
Carmen is an outstanding artist. Her run on Captain Marvel was top notch. I haven’t read any or Eve Ewing but will pick this title up for Carmen alone

I also wanted to point out two of the teams only have five members so I have a big feeling that at least in two of those books the membership is going to grow over the course of the first few issues. I bet you that's where diversity will come into play. 🤞🏻
Hello there Blerd Without Fear. I stumbled upon this video and just wanted to say that you did an awesome job breaking down the trailer/announcement that Marvel put out for X-Men: From the Ashes. I thought that your views were very interesting and well noted, especially when you expressed how excited you are for some of these titles and what you would like to see as well.

I will be hyped again when she actually starts using them to their full potential.
X-Men has the creative team I'm most interested in. I liked Stegman on Venom and Vanish. Figure this'll be the closest to having Mcfarlane draw the X-Men again. Mackay has been a winner, for me. Black Cat, Moon Knight, and Doctor Strange are things I really enjoy. His Avengers isn't for me. Hope I like his X-Men better.
Uncanny has the characters I'm most intetested in. Nightcrawler is my favorite X-Man. Rogue, and Gambit can be fun, depending how they're written. Wolver(yawn)ine, I can take or leave. Question: Why do they keep pushing Rogue as a leader? Does someone need a dictionary? Not that her name ever made any sense to begin with. It was weird when Claremont did it, way back when, and it's werid today.
Extrordinary has the creators I know least about, and the characters I care least about. I've skimmed a few issues of Black Panther, and they seem OK. I like K Pryde. Hope she's less homicidal in this. Really haven't cared for how her character has developed over the last few years. I can take or leave the rest.
I bailed on Krakoa because that storyline wasn't for me. Tried severl issues from each title, and wasn't having any fun. Hope at least a few of these will be my cup of tea.
10:23 I'd love to see that very same X-Factor team, and creative team. Now, the book did lose a lot of velocity at the end, but the characterization was fantastic

Bro the start of the Krakoan Era was the best time to get into xmen comics. Getting into xmen comics with the new ones coming out in the summer will put yourself at a handicap. Almost all of the stories will be spring boarding off of everything that happened in the Krakoan Era. And the Krakoan Era was almost 6 years long.

I find it absolutely wild that Synch is no where to be seen in any of these teams considering all the work he put in pn the Krakoa era, hell even Bishop is also MIA not that I'm surprised.
Well out of all these books X-Men, Exceptional X-Men, Storm, & NYX have my attention. X-Force I'm only midly curious about but I've been no fan of the Krakoa X-Force, I prefer the team dark like it was after Messiah Complex & during Wolverine & The X-Men but it what it is

IMHO I think that the codename shift to "Temper" is paying tribute to Oya's ability of (temper)ature manipulation. "Temper" itself has at least 2 different definitions with different contextual meanings.
I'm not sure how i feel about the compaint of color. Most of the teams were like 5 deep. 2/5 wouldn't necessarily be "no color". However, if marvel came out with an all black or all minority team i would feel like its them trying to sell me a the color of theel team. Kinda like when they did the cringey miles morales thing where they showed him with various legacy powers (i.e. thor)

Yeah theyu could do more color. In their defense (kinda) Storm is basically th most badass character in the universe. I don't think there are many anythings that could actually take her down in a fight
NGL I’m not interested in any comic that don’t have Storm, that has Emma and Pryde as the primary characters, that has the tired asf Phoenix🙄, that has Wolverine as a primary character and anything written by that Ann woman (don’t know her last name but she F’d up Storm solo series fo sho). I am a fan of Storm, Cyclops, Marvel Girl (non Phoenix), Gambit (Rep’n Lalwizyan), Rogue ("Bruka" sista from Mississippi), it was Psylocke but…, Iceman (sometimes 🤷🏾♂️), Synch, Angel/Archangel, Sunspot (only in a team tho…he might be alright as a solo), Frenzy (very capable of a solo series), Joseph (Magneto’s clone) and Scarlet Witch (always will be a mutant to me).
I don’t have a problem with an all white team but at the same time I don’t find it interesting which is why I was never a fan of the Avengers or the Fantastic Four…I know they tried to put Storm on both teams but still I only purchased the ones with Storm. I hope that Storm does remain solo and become a freestyle character only linking up with other superheroes like Blue Marvel, Black Panther, Scarlet Witch, Marvel Girl, Cyclops, Silver Surfer, Dr Strange, Nova, Vulcan, Misty Knight and Monica Rambeau every now and then. I hope she’s done with the X-Men and especially the man that held her back for so long who never cared for her at all.
Gail Simone mentioned on twitter that she's been interested by Monet lately, so hopefully we can see her on the Uncanny team (she has the Jubilee and Rogue connection already, plus she deserves to be on a main team again) as well as other characters of color like Synch, Sunfire, Armor, and Dani get a spot on one of those teams. Or even characters who never had a shot in a main X-Men lineup like Wind Dancer, Risque, Tempo, and Neal Shaara (with a new codename of course)!
I’m not all caught up on fall of x but I would have thought next logical step in the story would have been all mutants, leaving earth and going to arakko. I also feel like the plot of the importance of Omega mutants was lost fairly early in the krakoan era
I really. Really. Hope they don't just reshelve a lot of the fascinating characters that got to flex during the Krakoan age. I also hope we somehow find a way to keep the fab aspects of Galas, but X-Men as a nation is probably not going to continue. That's almost too bad.
Also, I really love Gail Simone and think she'll be able to write the hell out of the characters on her roster so. I'll at least read that. If they brought back the most recent X-Factor book I would absolutely not complain either.
I thought Idie's codename change was clever. It's a nuanced word with many meanings, and it gives lots of room for character development. I'm most excited for her inclusion here.
I wouldnt be mad at Eve Ewing on Storm, but I'm really hoping Al Ewing continues what he started with her on X-Men Red.

man, never thought id say this but. The art we've seen from steggman seems like a regression no shade or anything cause we know he can cook. but just seems like a real reboot with some characters looking hella younger but obviously not really so thats prolly fucking me up lol
I am reading X-factor by Peter David (Noir Phase). The contrast in quality writing with most of the post hoxpox titles is astounding. X-office is in very low quality creative wise in my humble opinion. Peter David is light years away in good storytelling.

I personally don't care about skin colour as long as the story is good (I even think it's childish). I'm so hyped for Jugger and Magneto.
At this point I care more about character development vs color. They've thrown minority characters in with no storyline and it's depressing.
I'm really excited about the creative teams. I'm not really excited about the premise or the teams. Oya's name change really sets the tone for what I think this run may be. I hope I'm wrong though.
Let's just keep it a buck. At the end of the day Marvel is in the business of selling comics and the iconic x characters are always gonna be the essential characters used on teams. An all black X team would be a nice idea but it would be canceled by 15 issues. Sorry but that's the truth

that's the risk they will take if they mix up the core team too much... who would you drop? wolverine? gambit? Rogue? you have a team of 6 (more and it gets a little clunky) those characters are so iconic how do you not put them in an X-team
I am hoping for more Gen-Xers and Academy X characters on teams. Solo books need supporting characters and X-factor I can still hold out hope for. Did the Gen-X characters ever have a sit down in the Krakoa era just to shoot the breeze?
Rogue as leader? Is that different or something building? It's not a bad thing.. but last I was looking she called out Captain America on Captain Krakoa BS when she was on the unity squad...and then I lost track? What should I be reading to catch up on this? Also, not that its unwelcomed... but why do they get Jubilee on the same team as Gambit? Is one teaching the other to use there powers in new ways?
Scott Summer's X man team is going to be interesting... Just about everyone on that team has been a 'bad guy' at one point or another... so I call them Team Redemption arch.. I just need to understand why they drew Scott so young though... did he come out of a egg half developed or something?
I'm most excited to see what Kitty Pride/Emma Frost Exceptional X-men will do.. I always really liked what Emma Frost is doing... and now that Kitty Prides profile got raised a lot in the last year... so I want to see how they go forward with her being as dangerous as she is..
I find it interesting that they keep putting the 'kids' in charge of the teams..
Not sure about any of the other books.. The 3 already mentions crazy... but that Storm book... that is almost carte blanche? Storms profile is borderline religious icon... If anything that girl has to do things to simmer people down to keep people from making burn offerings to her. I don't think she knows how to use the magic she has... or even how to pay the tax of using magic.. And all that Washington slime too... (though in the marvel universe... Washington is not the most slime political place ever? Like she could be going to Moscow or Lithuania if you want slime..) Storms to-do list is going to be long and legendary..

I know I want all new creators for these books. But for some reason I want El Ewing to write Storm in an ongoing series for at least 50 issues.
I'm going to bring up a aspect Blerd you may be missing...It's incredibly difficult to write from a perspective of a type of person you do not have enough similarity to and holds social and cultural nuances you can properly grasp and utilize? A strong empathy or desire to honor said people? I'm sorry but I am black but as people would say white washed cause I grew up privileged and groomed, I chose to wander the streets to relate to people. (= Lawl
Hopefully some teams will switch up a little throughout the series. Would be nice to see more like maybe half white teams still being different types of white and half Latin, black, Asian everything seriously. Surprise us! And hopefully it doesn't come off as pandering. I am excited for Storm though. Her development lately is really everything I wanted long ago like when I wanted Angela Bassett to play her in the original movie because That's the type of presence I feel from her character.

Maybe the characters you are waiting for are in xfactor or xforce. Do we really need to go there? That is one of the reasons krakoa failed.

At this point, I'm just excited to see Juggernauts arc is continuing instead of resetting and to see what Storm and Mags will be doing. I am curious to see if "Inmate X" will be revealed to be either Moira or Charles... 😅
One thing you don't mention is that Kate Pryde is often based in Chicago. She hailed from a suburb, Deerfield and went to the University of Chicago in her mini-series Mechanix. Since it's based in Chicago, I hope to see that bar Kate once worked at, Belles of Hell (or was that Hell's Belle?). It's been shown in other comics besides that mini. Last i saw was before Age of Krakoa, in the X-Men Wedding Special (for the failed wedding of Kitty/Peter) and that wasn't too far from the Age of Krakoa, so maybe we will see it.

The #1 issue I have heard from ACTUAL FANS who gave up on the X-Books was that Marvel was diluting stories and pumping out variants to nickel and dime fans to exhaustion.
Not "woke," not "the X-Men are villains now."
Even Blerd does not sound particularly confident that Disney (Marvel) will NOT resort to the same bag of tricks that got them into this mess.
