THE TIP WHERE YOU MENTION “quick, fast motions” IS EXTREMELY HELPFUL no one has told me this before and I just tried it out and it turned out better than before! My lines usually end up stiff and not so elegant, but with this things look much natural. Of course, I have to un-learn my previous habits and doing sudden lines without hesitation is kind of scary at first haha. 😅

Man the off hand method just makes so much sense to me now. As someone starting out I couldn’t figure out why sometimes my hair would look great and other times it just looked awful. I guess I was doing off hand at certain points without actually understanding. I also had “learned” that crossing of two lines and erasing the middle trick naturally through practice but before this video I just couldn’t process why I had a hard time replicating it sometimes. Now that I know how it all works it seems so simple! where before I was winging it and getting mixed results not knowing why. It’s funny how so simple art can be when you understand the method to the madness.
