I knew that was Conecuh before he even showed the front of the package. I'm from Alabama and we have Conecuh all the time at my house. I had some for supper tonight even. Cheese grits and Conecuh sausage for dinner.
That looks like an old Salad Master. My mom had one of those when we were kids. We had the pans too. I remember the salesman coming to the house and demonstrating his wares.
So happy to see the recipe in the description. Love to watch you Bruce. You are one of my favorites!!. PLEASE continue to put the recipes in the description!!!!
When you said “we gonna throw a little seasoning on the onions” you reminded me of Justin Wilson! Definitely subscribing! Entertaining and knowledgeable content. Thank you.
Hey brother, I got no where to sleep. Can I blanket on your porch. I won;t make no noise. I'll clean your BBQ / Griddle just past me a bowl under. Love your vids Fella. Take care you all. Mamma's recipe and food is the best. Grew up and enjoyed it so much. Never had sausage though, except for bangers and mash with vege's and gravy. Was the best growing up.
Add some scrambled eggs and we call that a "trash plate" here in NW Florida. Named after a menu item at the local breakfast joint. Anyways, love your channel and your cooking! Well done sir!
I make a similar recipe but with hash browns just different slice more crunch and then I stack ingredients like a Pie so as I cook the next item keeps bottom warm ❤❤
Hey Bruce delicious meal to feed a lot of people . And delicious . I cooked this for my family . I also use weenies sliced up . With fried potatoes and onion delicious also . I like to eat hot buttered cornbread . Along with these delicious meals . Eggs are good also with them . Blessings Upon You And Family 💞 🙏🏻 💞.
I have that same slicer with 4 attachments that I got from my Mom as well. My favorite kitchen appliance. The "frye" attachment makes perfect fried potatoes.
great video Bruce. It looks soooooo good. Gonna have to try it. Whats the name/brand of the slicer your Momma gave you? might have to see if i can fine one someplace. thanks for sharing.
I see the headline in my feed "potato stuff" and immediately say.. I've never heard of it but I'm sure if it's Bruce it's gonna have meat and cheese in it. And I'm interested!
This is what my family calls Slop. Everyone makes it a little differently. My dad uses either potatoes cut into thin discs or frozen Potatoes O'Brian along with white onion, sausage or bacon and cheese. I make mine using the dehydrated hash browns, diced peppers and red onion, diced up thick cut bacon and sometimes also pork chorizo, and cheese.I normally eat mine by making a breakfast burrito. My main problem is that I make too much and am eating it for breakfast for the 3 or 4 days. Oh well, better overkill than underkill I always say.
We make a breakfast similar called "Breakfast barf" its Potatos, egg, cheese, pepperoncini, bacon or sausage, and seasonings all combineed together on a griddle. Its so goos
@BlackstoneGriddles Mr. Bruce they sampled them before supper and everybody loved them so much that I had to fix another pan of them so they where very pleased and they told me to tell you they loved them. So I will fix them again with some cornbread and your recipe for jambalaya. Thank you for the recipe and can't wait for more of your recipes

Yes more Bruce and less of that one dude that shows movie clips after every lame joke he says…I quit watching that guy after about 5 minutes…
I know right I wish had a friend like him. We could be grilling and shooting the breeze after a good day of fishing and thanking God
Bruce is the Bob Ross of outdoor cooking.
