Isaiah talking about his grandpa’s story about the tree people in the car is such a classic found-footage horror movie trope that I was honestly concerned for them going into the park.
that being wendigoons true name is magnificent
I feel like I'm watching you guys unknowingly film your own 411 video 😄 Never seen anyone this lost while holding a map!
😂😂😂
Map reading is a lost art, and most people can't do it; especially since Onstar. Back in my day, not only could we navigate by the sub we could tell time by it. I used to blow my son's mind by telling the time by the sun within 10 minutes.
Pre-found footage
@@elias7819 LMAO
I mean you can t blame the guys, i m close to their age*like 3 years older) and I grew up using google maps or other apps for maps, so there has never been any need to read maps. also my spacial awareness skill is defo not my forte@@wisdomoftheearlychristians2037
thornbussy, maddussy and wendigussy the greatest
Cursed ... but acceptable
All canon names
it smells like thormawendussy in here
I can't believe you just tossed three flashbangs at my head and it's the most normal thing i expected after the start of the vid
Really think you have a thing for ussy and or ussies 😂
Alternative title: "Aden and Isaiah being an old married couple while Thornberry drinks some really good water"
It better be good at eight bucks a bottle😅.
This is a perfect example of why it's so important to know how to read a trail map if you're going hiking in a park.
And also solve like half of the missing people cases ;)
Its weird for me as I can find my way in really dense wilderness. In school here we are taught to use a map. Im good at it but Im good without it.
Yeah map reading, and navigation start to be rare skill. I suppose everyone just so used to GPS even with road maps lot of people would be confused
Knowing how to tell basic directions is far more important. You don’t need a map to know where you came from and where you want to go.
I really appreciate the mixture of "surely no one would be foolish enough to mess with a bear" and "Oh, yeah, went and picked up a cub" tourists are stupid. Bear safety is serious business, we got grizzlies where I live too so. talk loud, carry bells, and avoid cubs 'cause their mamas don't ask questions.
i know this is almost a year old BUT i just saw this video on tiktok of a group of people at yellowstone getting out of their car, one with a toddler in his arms, and SPRINTING at a bear and her two cubs. it's genuinely wild how stupid tourists can be
I live in Montana. I spend a lot of time out in the wilderness and bears are no joke where I am from either. Not Thirty miles from me you have to literally bring bear spray out to just put your garbage out and all of the garbages have bear locks on them
My aunt had a co-worker who put a bear cub in his car to bring it to a nature center. I guess it was injured (and unconscious), and mama bear wasn't around. I don't know how he had the guts to do it, but the dude loves nature and lives to tell the tale.
"This is a really easy trail"
"This is the parking lot."
Oh... they're gonna be in Paulides' next book, aren't they?
That was hilarious!
"there's a speed limit"
Me as they start walking: “This is giving me Blair Witch vibes…”
29:29 “oh wow, so we really just went around in a big circle” 😳
But we burned 100 calories. 🤡
They got lost already before even getting to the woods i had such ominous feeling these guys in the deep woods
Both this and Blair Witch is 90% comprised of confusion over a map.
NO CAUSE WHT DID I READ THIS PERFECTLY IN SYNC WITH THAT VERY PART OF THE VIDEO
The energy of you three right off the bat is palpable. You can tell you guys are super pumped to hang out and that's mad relatable ever since COVID
Real men simply didn’t let Covid stop them from hanging with friends
@@spamman7967 real men take care of themselves if they get sick and don’t get their friends sick
Real men don’t get sick 😂😂
Mad relatable bro like mad.
@@feraltrafficcone4483 Nobody ever said this shit before Covid. Now all of a sudden you have to stay inside to be a "real man" smh
wendigoon nailed it with the elevation-cardio tie in. its a major issue in the UFC when they have fights in someplace like colorado at elevation for fighters who train at sea level. their cardio dumps extremely fast if they dont travel to the altitude area at least a couple weeks ahead of time to acclimate
Wow
These are the guys who always wonder "do you really think people get lost and disappear this easily?" Meanwhile, they step on leaves floating in water and sink, forget they're wearing sunglasses as dusk, trip on their own feet, and can't find north without their cell phones...
I love these guys and their videos, so this isn't shade, but I do find it funny!
Exactly, "this experienced climber/hunter/hiker disappeared never to be seen again, we gonna go look for evidence of where he went in jeans and t shirt, what could go wrong?"
Love Wendi taking his city friends into the great unknown. So charming :)
Wendigoon fathering two lost hikers. Best part is he has a favorite and you can tell who it is
I still remember the Gatlinburg Forest Fire that Wendigoon mentioned. I live in the upstate of SC and our sky was covered by smoke coming down from the mountains. It was overcast for several days due to the smoke and it even rained ash in Clemson, SC. It’s crazy how large those fires were. It felt damn near apocalyptic. I heard it even pushed the re-introduced Elk down from the mountains for a bit
Ah yes, a fellow Clemson resident
OH my God I remember those too! That was my first year of college and I remember the air being so bad for the first couple of days. And then once that cleared up, the clowns started appearing.
Holy crap, there was a massive fire and right after a bunch of clowns started popping up? That sounds terrifying
Upstate SC resident here as well!
There were pine trees exploding and vehicles literally melted into the asphalt. We had birds trying to get thru the screen door of our apartment near lake Douglas. Horrible
I love how Aiden is cosplaying as Dean Winchester looking for a place a person disappeared
The Wendidad, Lore father, and Thornbussy: the great Tri-fecta. All in search for the missing 411, the missing Wendussy
The banter between these guys was an added bonus ❤
So happy to see more of these guys together, so mad that they had a gimble and didn't use it
29:10 I was just going to start joking about how this is the recovered footage of you guys going missing 🤣
Maybe their ghosts uploaded it so we can find them
Thanks for proving how easy it is to get lost in the woods
22:39 this Lewis and Clark reboot is 🔥
30:11 nailed it
I don’t think you know how hyped I got when wendigoon stepped into frame
He posted a video of this on his channel too, but I’m assuming you already watched that if you watch him
As soon as I saw the hand held Shakey home camera I was 100% sure this was the begining of a horror movie, you know like one of those found footage after the people get murdered or ritually snu snued to death or something
I'd kill to go on a trip like this with you guys
Same. Would be fun
I have killed to go on a trip…..oops I mean same
God i just wish i had the money to travel and take my friends along and visit fucked off sites of disappearances unironically (maybe no camping but a lot of truck talking and hanging out)
Dream blunt rotation
@@twilightparanormalresearch186 Lol too late you’re on a list
My granny was Cherokee and she used to talk about the Nunnehi. They were Like fairies that were invisible unless they wanted you to see them. They could look like squirrels or foxes or black bears. Sometimes they were helpful and they’d help you with chores or if you were lost in the woods and sometimes they were trouble and they’d cause the milk or crops to spoil or break eggs in the hen house. They’d play music, drums or knock trees in the woods and if you chased them the music would get further and further away until you were lost. And it all depended on if you were a good little girl or a bad little girl.
As a Tennesseean I concur regarding the beauty of my homeland area
im concerned if u concur with the incest-cannibals
At 2:25 the way he's looking out at the mountains with that look of awe... that's wholesome asf. It gave me +5 will to live
As awful as the events that inspired this trip were, I’m always glad to see people visit my hometown and appreciate the beauty of it. I went 20 years of my life not knowing about the awful things that happened in the mountains that are my own backyard, thank you for educating even us locals ☺️
This is no longer a parasocial relationship this is becoming a parasocial friend group.
" How long have you two been married!!! Killed me!! Ded!! You read my mind! Loved it!!!!
When I was a kid and learning how to track I learned that if a person cannot be found without a trace they are probably in a hollow tree or a den of a ground dwelling animal and Maby underwater , I wasn’t really considered a good tracker until I found a bear den , coyote den and sneak in a beaver house before it could sense my presence and leave so I had to be in there with it and I’ll tell ya some of those dens are hard to find .
The topic of bigfoot being brought up as not actually being in Appalachia but really only in the PNW was really interesting to me! I live on the olympic peninsula of washington state which is very rural, thick evergreen forests, and some decent sized mountains, and I was raised by an outdoorsman. I can confidently speak for the PNW that sasquach is here, but I thought it was so interesting bc I was of the impression that sasquach was all over north america, but now I'm moreso under the impression that sasquach may be a much more diverse and complex thing! The convos between y'all are really interesting lol, keep it up!
What I took from that is sasquatch is word derived from salish, so technically it’s solely a PNW thing. But whatever name you give them, the hairy wildmen are all over the world, just like the other tribes of man.
Historically big foot is a Pacific Northwest thing thing
depending on what part of appalachia you talk to ppl from, there’s all sorts of folktales about the woods and the rural towns
Nice vid, love all 3 of you and your energy together. If you heartrate is hitting 240bpm on the treadmill you might get your heart looked at by a doctor as well as your sleep. That almost sounds like you have a hole in your heart (if so has probably been there since birth) granted I'm just a random person online so I could be wrong but that doesn't sound good and better to be safe than sorry with heart stuff.
Yea dude, anything over 200 is not good and you should get that checked out.
Same here but i was told i had brugada and they implanted an ICD within five days of finding that out !
the "you're the next missing 411" from Isaiah is a comment you only make to your best friend and it was so iconic
Just 4 guys in the wild. Aiden, Aiden, Wendigoon and Wendigoon's Federal Agent
I live near the only Cryptozoology musuem in the world (Maine) and I absolutely love your channel. SO excited for your collab today!! You should come adventure around Maine... It can get pretty spooky.
Northern Maine is so wild! Where is the cryptozoology museum?! I didn't know that!
@@whims6278is that the one with the mothman ass?
Being from near there it's weird being super familiar with the places in the video for once.
A 628 mile / 10-12 hour roadtrip with Wendi and LL sounds super fun.
My family were tobacco farmers and coal miners in rural KY until a generation before me. They always called the Tree People "The Wood Boogers" or "The Buggaboos on The Mountain".
Anything bad that happened around the farm was the fault of the Wood Boogers. If cattle or sheep went missing, hens stopped laying, if the hunting wasn't good, things like that.
And the older cousins always had to go with the younger ones if they went near the woods or past the first ridge behind the house. Wasn't until we were older we learned that there was always an adult in the back yard listening to us playing with a shot gun ready until we were headed back.
I find it fascinating how all over the world, no matter how divided the beliefs, most big religions when they first arose had similar stories in their teachings. The dividing of the Red Sea, a god speaking to them, a great flood etc. it’s just so heartwarming to think that humanity in one way to another is so connected even thousands of miles away from each other, even in times without technology and ease of communication.
*Nexpo intro music plays*
This is how three youtubers got lost in the forest... forever
That was GREAT! If you get to do this again, definitely post it. Everyone at work staring while I laughed to my self all the way through
It's awesome you're traveling to these locations. I've wanted to do the same, but don't have the time.
You may want to get a real compass for future trips.
34:49
"YOU HEAR IT'S CALL LIKE A BALLAD DIRECTLY IN TO YOUR HEART!"
Wendi:👋😊 "Hi"
Dude i feel like 20 squirrels could take down a person let alone 200. Damn wendigoon confidant AS FUVK
22:54 That same fall my family and I had gone on a trip to Gatlinburg for Thanksgiving and by pure coincidence we left the day before the fire started. We wanted to stay another day, but the place we were staying had already been booked for the following few days so we couldn’t and had to leave. Just kinda funny in retrospect.
Came for the content, stayed for the cuteness. Love this.
Love this! I'm way too old to participate in this kind of adventure, so I'm adventuring vicariously through you guys! :)
I got my dog in Tennessee. We traveled there to pick her up and we made a short trip out of it. It was in the fall and it was so pretty. I loved it. We stayed in an art town and it was totally my vibe.
Weirdest thing I had multiple nights I couldn't sleep and the night before we picked my dog up I had the most straightforward vivid dream I've ever had. I dreamt the breeder would send up a picture of my dog before we picked her up and we did indeed receive a picture of her before we headed out to get her.
Hearing Wendigoon say “dick” was wildly unexpected and feels wrong lmao
Tbf because it is, he said "about to rip your tick out" lmao
I thought this channel was a lot larger, you deserve so many more followers.
28:11 please, this squirrel battle idea, make that a movie!
46:46 also a movie I would watch
GUYS! IT'S OKAY! A video about you getting lost in a car park still counts as being about missing persons! Not the way you intended, but....
I was born and raised in the Appalachian mountains of Pennsylvania and my husbands father's family is from Tennessee, we moved to Knoxville a few years ago and I found different foods and things to drink that they don't have. I miss those things but they have things that I never heard of too.
I absolutely love the chemistry of you three. I love all the laughter and jokes. I mean its a very serious subject but you all make it at least easier to handle.
41:00 was not expecting star wars prequel memes in a missing 411 with wendigoon.
I actually may have heard these tree people before...
I hadn't heard of them until just now, but that rhythmic knocking sound in the deep woods at night isn't unfamiliar to me.
22:25 Wendigoon’s cheek and nose line up so perfectly to make his nose look wicked that I thought for a moment the video has been edited lmao xD
I love when folks see the WNC/East Tenn sections of appalachia for the first time! I kinda forget how beautiful it is and it reminds me to take a minute and soak in the great ap-alatch-a
Watching this, I just kept staring at your clothes: all neutral colors, stuff that wouldn't show up easily if someone had to search for you. Good job lol
411: in the making
Gatlinburg -- Dollywood near to the Cheroquis reservation. Appalachia.
Listen to Prem Rawat!
The first time I drove through the Smoky's, my children thought they were actually on fire. Great memories
I feel like it’s worth mentioning that since I started watchin The Lore Lodge I’ve twisted around every English prompt as an excuse to write about Missing411 and my teacher is now very sick of me :)
this video is like a lost footage horror vibe
I live in TN, my partner and i just rescently hiked Mt. Cammerer. Respect the woods, they are beautiful but the Apalachians are older than mankind.
Tennessee is beautiful. I go up there from NC with my family every year, and often go to Cades Cove. Gotta love all the folklore around there!
You guys should deff cover the scott lilly case on the Appalachian trail. It got so little coverage and he seemed like a sweet guy. 😢 🪦
We definitely need a part two
This is great. Been binging wendigoon videos lately which brought me here to your channel which eventually led me to this video.
Looks like the beginning of a "found footage" horror movie. 🤣😂😲
Exactly my thoughts watching this
My question is, did Aidan M ever go to the doctor about his heartrate lmao
As soon as he said he's Italian, I could see the resemblance to my Italian friend and was like, "Yep, that tracks."
I've been to Gatlinburg, TN more times than I can count. Whenever my parents had extra money for a vacation, that's the place our family would choose to go almost every time. Such an absolutely beautiful place.
Love the content man! Been bringing your videos since the wendigoon video came out, super super underrated. Keep putting out amazing videos!
2:50 Good old fashioned American natural scenery. It can heal the soul
i could listen to that giggle all day.
28:50 would make a banger UA-cam short, by the way
Wendigoon will embrace the Wendigo within
I sense a romance brewing between Aiden and Wendigoo, y'all should totally get married 😂
39 minutes deep and I just realized this said 'behind the scenes' lmao great vid fellas
Aw i love wendigoon, i wish he was real :(
Great... Another channel to completely binge. thanks kings
So appreciate the academic conversations! 🙌 And, what a great trip ...with Windigussey himself! Great content. !
😂😂😂 @31:51 And those park goers got free entertainment! 😂❤
thank you for complementing my state
There are even some old hundred year old cabins in the hills there
If you guys keep going out like this one of you is bound to join the missing 411
Great examples of why so many go "missing". 🥺
gatlinburgs cabins, especially the ones on mountains the view is beautiful
I love yout in-car conversation segment.
240bpm is wild! Max avg. heart rate for ages 20 to 30 is 190-200bpm, definitely see a doc if you haven’t dude. My heart has only been that high because of a Tachycardia episode, stay safe 💜
When ya'll were talking about what food to bring to Wendigoon, I had half a mind to think you were going to bring him Funny Cake! Now thats a good PA staple you cant get anywhere else authentically haha
"I think this is how people die." 24:58
Watching this is like going on a road trip with my 3 best buds. I f*cking love you guys.
my favorite trio of all time
As goofy as this may sound, I enjoyed watching you and your pal walking down the paved trail.
November and 75 degrees is awesome. Beats the cold.
This is the best thing I've ever seen!
0:30 Lovethis! I didn’t even know y’all knew each other. I love when my fav channels collaborate
They have a few videos called the weird bible podcast where they go over stories of the Bible and explain them. Even if you’re not religious, I recommend checking them out cause it’s really interesting
Why does wendigoon’s hair have to look so good when everyone else gets average hair?😢
"A selection of items." Items are among my favorite things to be eaten. I have items at just about every meal!
Listen to Prem Rawat!
