I wish I knew! The car was basically stock except for: Resonator delete, Intake, and R8 Coil packs. I ran premium fuel (93 by me). It only popped when you revved it, not when driving though, or at least I couldn’t hear it from the drivers seat…
Hey looking to do this on my '14 A4. Just the rear resonator was removed here yes? Where did you get the piping to connect the front resonator to the muffler?
Eh, it’s different. Removing the muffler would definitely be louder, but not everyone loves a straight pipe sound. That said, in NJ it’s illegal to not have at least 1 rear muffler, so just removing the resonator is legal.
@@driveonthestraightpath2138 From inside the car, you can definitely hear the exhaust more, but the car has decent sound deadening and it isn't too loud. From outside, it is definitely louder.
There's TWO resonators....
Yup, crazy right!
How does it make popcorn just from the resonator remove?? Explain please. Thank you

Yes, that's right just the rear resonator. The muffler shop piping on hand, I didn't have to bring anything.
Does removing the resonator better than muffler ?

@@BestHombre oh damn am in New York mines straight piped n I love it
Does resonator delete add hp
Ehh, probably not, but it sounds good lol
You only took one off right?
Yes, I removed only the one that is closest to the rear of the car so that it won’t drone underneath the driver’s seat.
@@BestHombre is there actually a noise difference

Here's a driving POV at around 11:50 ua-cam.com/video/MDMA9yrAPmQ/v-deo.html
Did you take the muffler off?
The exhaust on that A4 had two resonators (after the catalytic converters) and a rear muffler.
I simply removed one rear resonator.
You took the muffler off. Not the resonator. Just saying...
Nope, according to Audi that’s considered a resonator
