Bro I want to say thank you for everything you do... I'm an old soldier dealing with PTSD and watching you and Cruze makes my days a little bit better...
I know that big rec site. Apparently it was built by a group of Quaders as there's a trail system access on one corner. Last time I was there, the group shelter was chock-a-block full of "energetically" social folks.
It's so cool to see the fruits of the months of labour when the van was in the shop. You can go so many more places now. Old Van wouldn't have cleared those dips. Nice!
With that island to explore you really don't need to go up north this year. You've got a business to build and that will take more of your time then you hoped. But you can still romp around, have fun, make content and be close enough to the shop to get things done.
The water isn't considered potable because it isn't filtered. We have a natural spring on our property, and we've always drank from it. I do admit that we give it a quick filtering simply to remove particulates. Our well water comes from the same water table.
Hey, chrome, this is JR,from Brasil,I found a solution for your, dog cruise, stairs,in the back of your passenger seat, make or buy a fishnet cover seat ,place the stairs, behind, the seat, get a couple bungee cords, and call it a day.
Boil them 10-15 minutes before frying or grilling-in water or beer-so that the outside 1/4” doesn’t get overcooked, it makes a huge difference. Can be boiled ahead of time and refrigerated if wanted.
Boiling doesn't remove toxic metals and chemicals. My guess too, is that the water is probably fine, but there is really no way to know for sure if water is safe, especially if there used to be an old mine upstream.
Hi Chrome, I know your to busy to answer this question, but I’m going to try anyway, how do you keep all the bugs and bees off you and in your van?? From Macomb Michigan, love your videos..❤😊
One other thought about mounting the stairs behind the seat. What if the mount wasn’t actually attached to the seat, but a bracket anchored to the floor, designed so that held it up above the dog bowls. That way you can still close the curtain. Think large bracket with legs on either side of the dog bowls. Like a table with a U shaped sides going up to hold the stairs.
I love your comment about ‘half the size of Ireland’ I only spent four days in Ireland on a two week vacation to England. I could only imagine taking a van around Ireland for three months! I know that was not your intent on your comment, but that country is beautiful I can only imagine seeing it in a van.😍
I get fresh spring water from the spout between Portland and the coast and it’s delicious! Got all the natural minerals you won’t get from plastic bottles.
The water in our home is spring water but we do have a filtration system. Just an added precaution. It’s mighty tasty water. Our neighbour who is on the same spring doesn’t have one and they’ve had no problems in 40 years.
This year its almost June and the lower mainland still feels like fall weather. Super rainy most days and when it rains its cold. Yesterday rained a TON and then stopped and the sun came out then a full 10 mins of hail in full sun.
Well, at least you can say you tried it. The Blueberry sausage. I like to stick with the trusty stand by's. lol safer. Much love to you and Cruzzie! I like that you're enjoying your outbacking!
Great video brother. Have you've thought about moving things off door where paper towel holder is to hand steps on it? Much love brother from southern Indiana U.S.A 🙏
He said in his previous video that he wont be hanging it on his door. It's a cosmetic thing and his paper towel holder is right where he needs it. He is considering about hanging it on his passenger seat if he can figure out the curtain issue, as the stairs would disrupt that. But for now, he's gonna leave the stairs on the floor for the summer and worry about it later. :)
I seen something on Facebook marketplace I wanted to send you but didn't trust the link. It was an emblem with a Bulldog head that said bulldog edition.
Hi 😎&🐶; Beautiful back Country Adventure! 🙂For a minute I thought your back bumper was going to hit on that dip😃😄; Weather looks like it's making a turn towards storming 🤔;🐶is a champion on the stairs now!🤗;Great Video 🤗👍! Thank You For Sharing;🫂❤️-😎&🐶;See You Both Soon 🙂
I am sorry Chrome, but I have no time to watch your videos for a while. I have sold my campervan, and next week I will leave Sweden for south of Europe. New Adventure 💖 I will thank you, love your videos, watched them since 2017-2018.. or something.. I have learned a lot from you. The Sad thing when I sold my campervan... I had to take off the decals, even that of Disco 😢 See you 🌺
chrome if you ever are able try lamb summer sausage more healthy than store bought summer sausage and is worth getting fresh from a farm,ps i can tell cruzie loves his steps so worth it for him ,love all the neat spots you have been finding on the island

Thank you so much for your Service!❤
When you ask Cruzie if he wanted to go out side, my Bulldogs went to the door! lol
I think they have to post it as non-potable water if they don't do regular testing of the spring water. That doesn't mean it's bad water.
That makes sense.
Keeps the landowner from liabilities if something happens

I second this opinion
1) I love how the dog took so naturally to the stairs. 2) food safety issues.
We have one of those near our cabin in Vermont.... Free natural spring water anytime 👍👍
Look inside a city water main and you'd barf . That water is probably as clean as it comes. Chemical free too .
No fluoride either lol

Maple Blueberry Sausage getting mixed in your stomach with greek yogurt sounds like hell for your insides, lmao
😂😂😂❤🌸🌸💕
Great episode, love the remote exploration every time👍🏻😁

He talked about this in his last video. The size of the stairs folded up would interfere with his privacy curtains.
I have a spring fed creek, had it tested 30 years ago. Good water!
Chrome have you been to Prince Edward Island it’s beautiful check out North Cape you can camp ocean front camping the whole island is beautiful
Camp Grounds: ⚠️ ROAD DEACTIVATED⚠️
Chrome: Let’s find out!👍🏼👍🏼
I often still get my Natural Spring Water on old hwy 8 just outside of the town of Rhinelander, Wisconsin... GREAT Water 💧 👍👍😊
Put the dog's stairs on the driver's seat. You only need to move it when you are driving. It will be there out of the way most of the time.

@@jay.rhoden I believe the comment was referring to the sausages.
@@rafaelthomas4174 I think you might be right. I was just watching the bit about the water.

Peace, Blueberry sausage??!! What in tarnatation?? 😂😂😂😂😂 Take care broski.
Between the water.. the Sausages and the trail... Chrome really putting his rear end to the test.... lol

Looks like your having a ton of fun with all the @weldtecdesigns suspension and gear! I always love watching all the cool places you go!
The site you camped at was developed for & by the Campbell River quad club.I've ridden the trails created on the perimeter of this campsite & camped.

Hauled water from a pipe like that up north for years.

Today journey was amazing. Love the side views of van going over all the different things. Thank you for sharing today with us. 😊
2:50 absolutely amazing view
Humorous video this time, Chrome 😂
Watch for bears.
Maple, blueberry sausages! So Canadian. What meat would you expect? Bear? Deer? Something else?
Thanks for the burp. I was cracking up. I was actually thinking it about trying it but now I know.
Sooo nice to be back! 🎉
I get fresh spring water from the spout between Portland and the coast and it’s delicious! Got all the natural minerals you won’t get from plastic bottles.
That's an awesome view!
PLEASE HOOK UP with Camping with Steve. I think that would be epic.
Loved the burp, you are too funny Chrome. Thank you brother.🎉
I remember this water spot and also remember the first time you stopped there was a gentleman telling you the waters story
Maybe one of the locals wanted to keep it LOCAL! Hahaha😂
What's up, Weirdos!
It’s the best to see you in the bush again! Great video! Love the scenery
wow i needed this outdoor adventure episode!!!...dealing with slumlord headaches!!!
Noticed Cruz was not interested in your unique sausages! Not quite an epicurean delight!!!😁🤣😃

Yes
I wonder if you could get some stairs built in somehow that flip down or a ramp that extends out that makes it easier /
Vancouver island has the highest amount of black bears, don't venture too far from the van.😁
Vancouver Island also has the highest concentration of cougars anywhere in the world 😯
I wonder if there is a “folding” set of stairs (similar to an RV) that could mount up under the side doors of your home?

Banana Slugs are cool.Witty’s Lagoon has few too
I drink spring water all the time. Just like thus n we tested it to prove everyone wrong. It really is the best water ever❤
CREEPY 😮 BEARS !! BIGFOOT.... Oh My 😮.... just saying ❤❤
@ 8:33 Ooh that rear end tho! Even with that Big Bertha bounce, there was 4" clearance! 🤩
That bushy looking dude from the show Alive only drinks from that water fountain you were at.
I was a little nervous after you walked away from the van when you had just seen the large scat in the road. 😳
Glad to see you in the back country again.
Cruz is such a champ on those stairs now 😄
You could get a "not a wheelchair" for off road-off roading.
The weirdo in me would wrap that sausage in a pancake and eat it like a taco 🌮 👍🏼👍🏼
That’s kind of like the breakfast flapjacks that are given out at the Calgary Stampede free breakfasts every year
@@christinamann3640that sounds great! Unfortunately I’m all the way down in North Carolina, but I’ve heard about the event 👍🏼
I was kinda worried about you walking up a trail so far from the van with big piles of bear crap on it !
If the burp was bad I feel for Cruzie when you hit the bucket later!🤣
Maybe Nestles stealing the water so they put up a sign. We used to have a spring around here but they closed it.
maple and brown sugar bacon is awesome

Hollow out the back of the front seat to hold Cruzys steps
WHAT ABOUT INSIDE PASSENGER DOOR NEXT TO CRUZIE BUT WHERE HE CAN STILL SEE OUT WINDOW? I KNOW POO BUCKET IS ON FLOOR IN FRONT OF HIS SEAT.
Hey Chrome and Cruz..
Loving the collapsing stairs!! Where did you get those???
Yes yes yes 🙌 and yes 🙌 2 da lift!! It really paid off in this travel!! It would have bottomed out had to not did the lift!!
I seen something on Facebook marketplace I wanted to send you but didn't trust the link. It was an emblem with a Bulldog head that said bulldog edition.
I prefer to slice my sausage in half lengthwise to cook it. Or dice it to fry with potatoes or eggs.
Love your videos! Fun times! Cruzie is a doll!
I think I will stay stick to the blueberry pancakes 😂😂
I buy maple breakfast sausage and I love apple chicken sausage
lol.. nice touch w.the creepy sound bite at that campground.

This island is spectacular and damn does that van sound like a beast! Happy trails. 😊🎉
Weird. I was just thinking about you getting water at that spot yesterday.
Wondering if there is anything like that in Colorado. Probably not ✌️
I live in Colorado and have drank water from more places like that than I can count.

Maple blueberry sausage? Ah hell nah!!! 😂
Lol I don't think Cruz likes those folding stairs 😂😂😂😂
If it rains just hang out in your home. 🥰🔥🌞
