I love this. Because it’s realistic. You didn’t dump 80k+ into a van like most of van life people do. I don’t have that kind of money so it always made me sad thinking I could never do this. But this video is awesome, it shows you can still live and travel and be comfortable without needing a luxurious glorified apartment on wheels lol

Double use items are always a plus, like the stool-toilet. Everything is really organized and easy to find. Pleasant to the eye, but not cluttered. Good travels, my friend!✌🤟
I love the stool toilet. I hate using public toilets. Probably the biggest reason why I don't van life now. That and no shower. I hated not having a decent stove and fridge and water supply too. So I guess I'm happy with my land lover lifestyle now but I still miss hanging out in nature with my bed on wheels.

That’s so clever and simple the way you set it up. So cosy and homely and it all works. I love the bread boxes in your kitchen. They seem to make the kitchen stand out somehow for me anyway, if you know what I mean. There lots of things that are great ideas. Very tastefully done. You should be very proud of it. ❤😊

I love this van build - it looks so comfortable and efficient, in spite of the short time it required you to put it all together. It's amazing how creativity can simplify what we need in living our daily lives! I learn from you each time.
I love it! I like that you have the trash bags right there in the door because when I'm out there, I like to go around and pick up trash and leave it cleaner than when I got there.
You make it look spacious! A thought: get some sort of tape - like ace bandage, or some of that cork fabric, put about a 2” strip on middle of each jar so they don’t accidentally get cracked.

I don't live on the road forever, but for extended periods of time & need more organization & comfort. My 1st night solo was so tightly packed I felt like I was in an episode of 'Hoarders.' LOL. If you make it out this way I have sowing machines and tools you can use to do finish work. I have obligations that keep me here 80% of the time. I’m just catching up! Love how you’ve really made such a nice cosy little home inside your van! All the little details you’ve figured out are fascinating! Especially the “bulb pins”, that is exactly what they’re called! I’m a junk journal maker & we use them to attach charms, etc. to our projects! You’ve really expanded their usefulness! In a past life, I used rubber cement to make cards & projects in my Montessori preschool classroom, haha, that was in the age of the dinosaurs!! Great video, give Ruby a hug! Erica❤

Hi Rowan and Ruby, Willy and I really enjoyed your van tour today, it kind of perked Willy up today. I had to take him to the vet. I think he’s got a bacterial infection. He woke me up at 2 AM this morning shivering and he’s had some diarrhea, so not quite sure what is going on. We will get the blood work back soon, but we wanted to make sure that we gave you a shout and let you know that we watched your video today. We sure love you guys be safe. Nice living space. So many good ideas for personizing your new home. I think your going to be happy there. Econolines are easy to work on and to get after market pargs for. They drive about the same as a pick up and are easy to find parking for. Your traveling companion seems happy too.

Very nice build. Everything is so neat and organized. I, too, do not recommend spray adhesive if you want anything to permanently stick. I made that mistake, until I realized it said on the can that it was a temporary adhesive for fabrics.

You Rowan are quite amazing I have been Watching for several months….. you have lifted my spirits so many times I love watching you and Ruby having your adventures and how even when you go through a hard time like you did just recently you still keep keeping on I am recently separated from my husband and have long worked at this as a way to survive when I left, I left in our van when I tell my kids that I was ready to live in the van, they said mom no we have places and right now I’m staying with one of my daughters who gave me my own space but always knowing that from watching your videos I could live in my vehicle if it comes down to that you’ve made it so comfortable sounding and I mean not soft and squishy but comfortable meaning….it’s something I really could do. I’m not a person that has to have a lot of stuff….actually I am becoming more a minimalist the older I get I’ll be 60 later this year. I am just looking for healing for my mind and to get closer in relationship with Jesus and getting the most out of seeing my large family, grandkids and great grandkids as I go along so yeah you inspire me and you are making a difference in how people when they get in situation, that may feel it can’t be done you’ve proved to all of us here on your channel that it can be done….. and thank you, I’m looking forward to seeing your new adventures 😊

I have envy for your curtains and window covers. The one big downside to my new apartment is the management's insistence that they supply the window coverings and that no other coverings be put up. The blinds just don't block the light like curtains can.

New subscriber... This is my 3rd video so far of yours that I have watched and I have to say that I am impressed beyond words with your gift for design and creativity. You really make each vehicle feel like a home and not just a living space on wheels. The last one I watched was of the fish chowder and the fresh baked bread... looked so yummy! You Rowan are quite amazing I have been Watching for several months….. you have lifted my spirits so many times I love watching you and Ruby having your adventures and how even when you go through a hard time like you did just recently you still keep keeping on I am recently separated from my husband and have long worked at this as a way to survive when I left, I left in our van when I tell my kids that I was ready to live in the van, they said mom no we have places and right now I’m staying with one of my daughters who gave me my own space but always knowing that from watching your videos I could live in my vehicle if it comes down to that you’ve made it so comfortable sounding and I mean not soft and squishy but comfortable meaning….it’s something I really could do. I’m not a person that has to have a lot of stuff….actually I am becoming more a minimalist the older I get I’ll be 60 later this year. I am just looking for healing for my mind and to get closer in relationship with Jesus and getting the most out of seeing my large family, grandkids and great grandkids as I go along so yeah you inspire me and you are making a difference in how people when they get in situation, that may feel it can’t be done you’ve proved to all of us here on your channel that it can be done….. and thank you, I’m looking forward to seeing your new adventures 😊

I have envy for your curtains and window covers. The one big downside to my new apartment is the management's insistence that they supply the window coverings and that no other coverings be put up. The blinds just don't block the light like curtains can.

Marvellous build! I love your colors, love them. I fell in love with your sink and got it (off your link) and it's sitting here waiting for me to be able to go get my new to me 2005 Chevy Express which was found and vetted by a young company in Idaho (it's getting a basic prep) and we'll do the inside build!
