Sad part is she thinks she is choosing to “not settle” because other men in her opinion aren’t doing enough, but instead she’s been settling for less than for a whole 20 years with this situationship. You get what you tolerate. By the times she chooses to leave, if she ever does, the options available to her are going to be minimal. And she’s beautiful and seems so sweet.
I was with her untill she said she is in a 20 year situationship …. I could not hear anything else she said after that …. He really gave her some great advise and I hope she gets it . She is just using the child as an excuse to hold on and probably has the child to try and tie him down .

A ring does not mean you know how to keep a man….it sometimes means that a person just haven’t crossed a boundary that you know of…..yet. Her situation is different she allowed him to do this crap for 20 years so he continued. If she was firm w/that boundary, she would have been out. But on the other hand, a happily/successful relationship that can one day blossom into marriage w/wo a ring (a symbol to the outside world)…is a daily choice to be better and do better for yourself and the person you chose and whom chose you.
Man this was a great episode! He really provided her with some real sound advice that she needed to hear. He's right though....deep down she already knows what needs to be done but hearing it out loud did her good. I really hope she breaks it off with that clown. He clearly doesn't see her value and she's wasting away her good years on him. She deserves so much better. My heart breaks for her😔

The lady is attractive, however seriously encumbered-even if she didnt have a child, her attachment with her man is glaring. No lie, I’ve been in and out of a situation similar to hers. This man has really taught me a lot about what I want in a man, a relationship, and just in life. He treats me so well. He’s a provider, protector, and a great father. We have CRAZY chemistry and always have an amazing time together. Only downfall is that he isn’t the monogamous type and I know we will never truly be together. So he’s a “filler” for me until someone else comes along, and unfortunately, he has made it hard for me to still date because many guys fall short of my expectations/desires. SMH it’s a tough spot to be in 😪

It really is as simple as making a choice. Either choose YOU or your CHILD’S FATHER because energetically you are holding yourself back from the partner you truly desire. Spiritually speaking, what if your future husband/partner (a man who is everything you ever wanted) is waiting on you to make a choice? Would you have act sooner? or could you act now?

I agree. Some men value their singleness. That's just who they are. I didn't believe that but I do now. Your right. Mine treats me good and that makes it's hard to want a connection with anyone else.

She’s messing up her value by dealing with a man that really doesn’t her and she’s been there 20years and now have a child by him. This is why I have little to sympathy for single mother’s because a lot of them put themselves in this situation even when they see the red flags. Now she wants to break up with a guy that she’s not in a relationship with.
