Yes, the only way to describe this collaboration is "Magical". The original was beautiful but this rendition surpassed it. Don's voice still has the ability to touch your soul.

It’s so good. Don sounds great for 78 and the boys harmonies are stellar and Rob sounds great. Love the paintings behind them and the final painting of them at the end….beautiful!

And of course Austin also sang great, but Rob's voice is just perfect for this song. His voice so warm, soft as silk and full of emotion.
The quiet, not overwhelming background vocals and guitar playing complete it for me. It's the same song as my youth, but with the Home Free twist it's something different.
A beautiful song where I, of course, as a Dutch person, know the history of Vincent van Gogh well. I lived not far from his birthplace for a while. If I could, I would have given Don McLean and Home Free a bouquet of sunflowers in memory of Vincent. The sunflower one of his most famous paintings 🌻......

Love this collaboration! "Vincent" is such a great song by Don McLean! He originally did it in 1972. What a great remake with Home Free! Rob's voice is perfect for this song. Such a beautiful tribute to the sad life of the painter Vincent Van Gogh. He suffered from depression & committed suicide. He never saw any success during his life. But now his paintings are worth millions of dollars.
I love watching the shifting paintings in the background. It was a stroke of genius to use just the guitar without additional percussion. Great reaction.
Don McLean's voice is still terrific & his lyrics are sheer poetry. Home Free are the perfect collaborators. Their singing & harmonies are incomparable and they always keep the spotlight on the other artist and the artist's concept of their music. BTW, I so want a copy of the picture at the end in which they're literally absorbed.

This is my favorite Don McLean song, has been sicne I first heard it. Rob's voice just works perfectly with Don's. So now my favorite Acapella band has joined Don for this mesmerizing song. I can't get enough of it.

Don McLean just released a new album "American Boys" that features Home Free. Another great song from Don! When Don received his Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he asked Home Free to perform American Pie at the presentation. Don is 76 and still has a fantastic voice!
