That was a wonderful trip Joe. Thanks for bringing us along.
Glad you enjoyed it thanks
Enjoy your videos
Thank you
Hi Joe! Ken here from Nova Scotia. Nice to watch your fishing on hard water again.
Thank you so much Ken
I really liked this video. You & CJ (Your mini me) were exciting to watch.I know you mentioned he is a Guide, it shows based on his style and how he fishes. Hoping you have him on here again real soon. You are a trooper to stay out there, especially in those cold conditions. Maybe next time CJ can take a lesson from Donnie and make you some donuts. 😏.You got some good fish. Those Crappies were rather large. TY for taking us along for the ride with you. I appreciate you.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you !!!
Great video Joe...thanks for all your time
My pleasure!! Thanks
👋🏻hi to Donnie. 🦞🫎🦌👍🏻
For sure
Man, that big crappie, I was hoping he would just make a turn and eat. Ugh!!! Great video!
You and me both!
Outstanding, awesome slabs. Another great video. Thanks. Stay safe and tight lines.
Thanks, you too!
We thank you for bringing us along and appreciate the work it takes!
Thanks for watching!
Always looking forward to you next one!!!! ❤️🥰❤️
Can’t wait!!
For sure thanks
Can’t wait till the next one
Thanks
That has to be the coolest thing I've seen on live scope.💯🤘
Thanks
💯 great, love cooking with Joe
I think smaller tent when your by yourself & heater will do better.
True
Goooooood morning 👌
Hello
Love this… missing Donnie! ❤️🥰❤️
Me too
Always sad when our trips come to an end but the viewers might wanna stay tuned cause there’s something special coming!
900 plus inches
I think the flame needs more surface to heat so that it radiates into ur living space rather than just being an open flame in a box, just my observation
Yeah makes sense
Loving the crappie action thanks for taking us along! I have seen a few diesel heaters in action, they are fuel efficient but I would be concerned about battery life on a long trip. I wonder if the propane stove would work better with a damper on the pipe? Anyways, safe travels and looking forward to more!
Definitely gonna try a damper
Keep up with the great videos joe
Please tell Donny we said hello from Connecticut
Will do thanks
Loving the series!!! (I always use a stainless sheet pan under any wood stove I use for winter camping) Might be the ticket?
For sure gonna have metal under it next time
Hey Joe i remembered were i watched the other propane heater north61 on ytube he tried a damper to doesn't think it maid much of diff i think your usage sounds like his a 20ib every 2 days looks like he uses a smaller tent
Yeah someone said definitely get a damper I’ll try it idk
Great video Joe. Say hi
Will do
Joe what livescope setup are you using and would you care to share your settings?
I use the lvs 34 with the 1022 screen settings change lake to lake but I can shoot a video on it
your heater is that the same one you showcased from your gear video? the thought of not having the moisture in the tent had me wondering how well it will work. the amount of melt under the floor makes me think it needs to be higher off the floor the way it radiated down. when you get it ironed out a full review would be appreciated till then I'll stick with my buddy heater those are pricey in comparison.
For sure I want to gather more info first
Love your channel!
What model camp stove rare are you using? Thanks.
The cook stove is a Coleman two burner and the little furnace stove is a 4000 new wave in not surmount give me a little more time in a review
Gotta go back to the big buddy heater
Very possible
Hey I was wondering if you what auger you have and what your favorite auger you have had?
The ION 10 inch Alpha is the best auger on the market by far.
Thanks I was wondering bc I saw you had the strikemaster
Joe you need to try the little diesel heaters, it will blow you away how well they work and how efficient they are for a 8!day trip running it at night you’d probably burn 3 gallons of diesel and have your tent 60 degrees I made the switch from propane I’ll never ever go back
I am impressed with their fuel efficiency but only seen them last 1-2 nights on a battery. Have you had better luck?
How are they in battery
I ran mine off a cheaper Wieze 100ah battery this passed weekend for 2 nights 3 days. I used a suitcase style solar panel to help keep it charged. The battery ran dead by noon on Sunday. I burned about 2 gallons of fuel for the whole trip in a 850XD. Kept the shanty quite comfortable the whole time. Daytime temps in the 30s and single digits during the night.
That's true there's always solar to help top it off. @JoeHollandFishing I bet with your bougerv and the right panels you might be in good shape.
I just use my deep cycle from my boat and use a charger to charge it up will last 3 nights, if you had a lithium battery I’m sure it would last much longer or a lot of guys just wire them up to like a 6.0 amp Milwaukee battery
I need to join ya with my son Massachusetts here western mass outdoor boys 👦
thanks bud
Im from Sudbury Ontario and still no real good ice here yet.
Bummer
Vevor 8kw diesel heater
Thanks
Slab -O- SORRIS CRAPS NICE
Thank you
Might want to step it up a bit at times. ❤️🥰❤️
True
@@JoeHollandFishing wow! You read all of these! ❤️🥰❤️
Make sure you get the Bluetooth model though it’s alooot easier to use
Thanks
7-8 days - I know you are pretty hard core but I don't know if I could go without a shower and change of underoo's that long!
It’s not too bad
That propane heater is going to put you in the poor house or your going to freeze to death. Your buddy was much better. Alot of people up here are trying those disel heaters. Getting some good reviews on them.
For sure thanks
Why don't you go small wood stove?
I do t like the high heat then cold lows
Nothing irks me more than people leaving crap on the ice just lazy pigs wrecking it for the majority of us seemed like a great trip bud
For sure thanks
