The mixture screw is specificly set at the factory you have to count how many turns out it is to properly adjust the cardurator

It's 2 turns out unless the carbs have had an overhaul per manufacturers instructions

Well watching you taught me that, I will pay someone to do this job on my GL1500, cause there ain’t no way I’m gonna tear into that hornets nest.
You may not be a motorcycle mechanic, “as you say”, but you definitely have a lot of mechanical aptitude on a lotta things. Very enlightening to watch you, but I ain’t walkin down that road.

You could do it man... It's scary to look at but once you get a start and dissect those panels properly it's not too bad if you just isolate your focus to what you're doing. If you do it once getting in there, then all the small stuff that's deep in there that you're going to pay a mechanic tons of money to do you can slip in there and do yourself. I keep trying to get a good video of taking apart the plastics but my footage keeps getting blown every time.

Great video. Just started to remove and rebuild the carbs on a 1500 today. It is pissing fuel out of the overflow lines.

There are only overflow lines but that's at the higher point of the float bowls. The drains would be on the float bowls themselves but I don't know that that would solve any problems
