Got my buddy that same airgun as a girft he loves it and it has put meat in his freezer using the benjami 14.3 pellets. We went rabbit hunting and i got one about 60-65 easy headshots. Its supper accurate
Pcp's are addictive. I purchased several Hatsan's directly from them. Saved myself a bunch of money and got their refurbished ones. They all looked brand new and functioned perfectly. They have your same gun at $159 plus $15 for shipping.
I just ordered a refurbished flashpup and they didn't charge tax because I'm out of state
How is the cocking on the flashpup? Seemed a little far back to me, and spring tenstion a little stout to recock. May change my mind and order one at some point. Maybe in .25 cal.
@Kurtdog63 My Flashpup just shipped today... #15 in my collection 😂. I figured I'll get used to its location. Most of my stuff I got in 22. I considered hunting laws in my purchases. They can be easily viewed at Pyramid Air Website... but double check with your state to be sure it's accurate (mine were).
The Flash and Pup in 22 cal come tuned for heavier pellets... 18 grain or so. Shooting lighter pellets you can adjust the power down which will lighten the cocking effort and increase your shot count. 870 ~ 890 fps may give you better accuracy too.
@@bfree6197 I think I have seen several comments about pellet speed accuracy based on their physics and 850ish fps seems to be a good velocity for better accuracy. I guess most rifles can be pellet picky regardless of velocity. The JSB Domed Baracuda Hunter Extremes where recommended for the Flash. May be a better hunting pellet for longer range. Still need to experiment.
@Kurtdog63 longer range... people shoot slugs. Probably turn the power up a little. Flatter shot trajectory too.
@@bfree6197 Do you have an electric pump? I think Hatsan sells one. Prices have come down. They used to be crazy expensive.
Just a recomendation give the JSB HADES a try they are meant for pest control/hunting and do massive damage
Yes. I have been looking at those. They are heavier also.
I was wrong, I was looking at the H@N Barracudas. They are heavier. The JSB Hades are same weight at the JSB Jumbo Exacts at 15.89 grains.
These guns don't have the power to puncture a propane tank with one shot now 2 in the same place on it and she's getting a hole ask how I know
My springer shot thru a deer skull and a faring strip at 730 fps. This PCP shoots 200 fps faster, so wasn't chancing it... was the hole lovely?

@@saabkingentertainments.k.e May pick up a .25 cal at some point. Testing the waters in the PCP world. I need to get a compressor if I get deeper. Hand pump is gonna get old quick.
