- Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is among the top beach destinations in the USA. That's because there are so many attractions and things to do in Myrtle Beach in addition to getting a tan. On this travel vlog, you'll see the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Broadway at the Beach, two places you should definitely visit when you're in town. More to come in my next videos. We just spent 4 months in Myrtle Beach and got pretty familiar with the city. In this area, you can find some of the main South Carolina beaches (you'll see more in my next vlogs. So make sure you subscribe: bit.ly/Renata_UA-cam)
The best time to visit Myrtle Beach though is still to come: summer. That's when you'll really be able to enjoy the beach. But visiting in the off-season has its advantages. The city was quiet, we had the resort pools to ourselves especially in January and February, and temperatures even reached the high 60s and low 70s on the warmest days. Perfect to go for a walk at the beach. In early spring, when we shot this video, you may still have some cool mornings, but the temperatures tend to rise along the day.

I recommend going to broadway on the beach because they have a cool aquarium and live shows and good food and mirror mazes and etc.

I’m from California and I’d never heard of Myrtle Beach until around 1990 when a buddy of mine told me about his time in the Air Force when he was stationed at Myrtle Beach Air Force Base in the 80s and how Myrtle Beach was a big resort town. And a military town. The base was closed in 1993 and is where the Myrtle Beach Airport is now.

Was just in Myrtle Beach last weekend.
I hop eyou had a good time
The hotel rates are super cheap in the winter,they start going up a little in March.Most days in the winter it's usually sunny in the mid 50s to low 60s.Also check out the Market Common close to the airport,it's like and upscale shopping area with an old downtown feel.Pancake restaurants are extremely popular there.In the summer during peak tourist season,they have trolley buses running all through town until midnight.

Have you ever been to Virginia Beach Virginia? It's about the furthest north that you'll see palm trees growing year round.They have an awesome boardwalk.When I grew up in West Virginia,Myrtle and Virginia Beach were probably the 2 most popular beaches people went to but Myrtle Beach has a more Florida feel to it.

Eu e meu esposo amamos tanto Myrtle Beach que a primeira vez que fomos visitar ( há 12 anos atrás) decidimos comprar uma casa lá. Moramos em CT mas temos uma townhouse em Carolina Forest e todos os anos passamos pelo menos uma semana no verão lá. Um dia quando nos aposentar mudamos definitivamente para lá.🙏😍

Thank you! It was at an ice cream/smoothie shop at the Boardwalk. I don't remember the name, but when you walk there, you can immediately see it from the outside, as they have that huge pineapple picture at the entrance

Really only English and then Spanish for S America. I don't know of other languages that people actually use for general tourism...unless its for specific regional neighbors.
