Great video to avoid capturing all of the homeless that are always on the boardwalk. I had to run them off numerous times because some would be passed out under the showers, and people leaving the beach needed to use it. I worked in MB for 20 years.
We just film what's there at the time.
Great job Carmen, I"ve lived here since 1989, first visited in 1972, been lots of changes and growth, the boardwalk has seen many generations, many still here,sadly many have left us, God Bless our great Country !!

In 2007 when they tore down the grand pavilion and ride park across the street we stopped driving up from garden city except and afternoon visit to the gay dolphin gift shop. It's iconic. Thanks for posting great video

I think some of the improvements to the boardwalk are nice. However, it’s disappointing they haven’t added any benches. Many people like to sit on the boardwalk and enjoy the view. Also, how can they justify only one public restroom. Sad. I live in Delaware and the boardwalks here and in New Jersey would be good examples for Myrtle Beach to follow. Lot’s of benches, restrooms, and parking.
They are supposed to be adding seating back. Let's hope so!
As many times I’ve been to Myrtle I haven’t been on the actual boardwalk! I can’t believe it. Always the boulevard! Gonna definitely go this year

In all our visits to MB we never did the boardwalk or ocean drive tour as it was always so busy and with me being handicapped it’s stressful with a lot of people. Enjoyed your tour as always. If. Next time we visit in the off season it will be on our list. Does MB area have a restaurant week ?? The 7 cities of our area take turns during the off season with the locals. But VB alone has a population of 500,000 so ours was last week and we took advantage and hit nice weather most of the week. We’re going too visit friends at Pauley’s Island in March. We have not been on the big M cruise and yes you’re correct. We wouldn’t be able to film if we did it. We haven’t eaten there yet, but we’ve heard really good things about Nonnas for their pizza.
When did ripleys odditorium put the glass up??
That's only up when they are closed.

yeah rileys bought out that whole block and the putt putt 3 new attractions are coming the haunted is staying but remodeled

Hi there! A new subscriber here! Where would you suggest to park when visiting the Boardwalk? With out too much walking?….we’ve just moved here last May and haven’t made it to the Boardwalk yet…
Welcome!! I recommend 9th Avenue North - there is parking along it perpendicular to Ocean Boulevard. March - Oct 31st there is a fee to park there. Off season you can park there for free along the street. There's free parking also but it's up past King's Highway and along it in that same area. That would be a further walk.

We primarily used Zillow when we were home shopping. Sorry I don't know of a local site to help you. Good luck!

The area where you're talking about the Ripley's illusions and the haunted adventure, that whole section was purchased I'm not sure by whom but it was by an investor at the beginning of 2022. so they'll be a lot of change their what change there's going to be I don't know... you're in Myrtle Beach more than me

What decent hotels are on or near the boardwalk?
We have a video coming out in the next couple of weeks, showing several of the hotels that are on the boardwalk. You can also go to Google maps, plug-in Ocean Boulevard and 9th Ave., North, and then zoom in to see the hotels that are along the boardwalk.

I don’t understand. Where are all the homeless? The tents? The trash? This is very similar to Venice and Santa Monica beach in Los Angeles, CA. I don’t get what I am seeing.
We do have unhoused just like any other city, but yeah, this is not like Venice Beach for sure.
What is zombie zone
That’s an attraction we have never been in! According to their website, it looks like it’s a haunted house with zombies.
