Hi I finally managed to connect mine to the app after many failed attempts by pressing connect on the app first while your phone is connected to your own home wifi, then turn camera wifi on and go into your phones settings and connect to camera wifi then go back to the app and press connect again
Hello i did some modification too on my sidescope cam i iused sjcam but the glare is so much that it cant pickup the image reflecting on my scope how can i fixed it?
How nice your system is, friend. I wanted to ask you if you put a lens on your camera to make the reticle focus well. I have one and it's the same thing I just put it like that but my light shines in and you can't see anything Did you put some original lens or something like that on your camera?
Hi, Thanks for explaning how to make the side holes. I have the Hawkeye Firefly 8SE 90 degree camera and Orion's adaptor but have no idea what monitor to get. Do you have any suggestions?
Excellent video, my friend, Everything well explained, I appreciate your time, Friend, just one question, This camera has an application to download the videos to the cell phone, remember that the Go Pro 7 Black camera has an application to download the videos to the cell phone, My question Is this camera also has an application to connect it to the cell phone or does this camera have no application and you have to connect the camera to the computer to download the Videos? Thank you for your reply brother
Well... The short answer is no. They claim to have an app, but despite trying everything I could I could never get it to work. GoPro these are NOT. Capable cheap camera? Yup, nailed it!
Great tutorial. Thanks ! I just now started fiddling with setting up this system. Can videos from Firefly camera be downloaded directly into an iPhone via the WiFi connection ? If so, how ? I can’t find any instructions. Thanks.
Is it me or did you mount this on wrong side. Looks like your cheekpiece is set up a right handed shooter and the camera is on the left side, wouldnt you want it on the other side?
I'm guessing that the choice is somewhat subjective. Calling it "wrong" really depends on the requirements of the shooter, no? For me, I want my gun hand to stay busy with the bolt and trigger, my left manipulates the start/stop of the record function. Your setup might have different requirements based on what you are doing. I would imagine if one was hunting you would want that left eye clear.
Thank you for your comment! I got this one. amzn.to/3IJB4pI Kuman 7 Inch Monitor HD Display it's pretty cheap, but you only use it for setup so that's probably ok.
Did you use the HD port to get on that monitor or the charging port im trying to figure it out need help im not a technical person lol and that's cus im a licensed journeyman electrician lol
Sorry for the long delay, I missed this comment! I think I used Philips flat head 2-56 screws on mine. I had a tray of 'em. I did have to reduce the head diameter a bit as they interfered with the wall of the case.
Which is the better camera? Or value? they are very different answers. Firefly will get you going quick and CHEAP. GoPro will be more money initially, then you'll need to change the lens, not easy, or cheap for marginally better video in the end. My opinion, get a Firefly, and get shooting...
Hi guys, I bought firefly 8SE it came with U122 firmware version any idea how i can change firmware. I tried on their app, i tried ambrella EVK firmware, i tried to delete all files on sdCard and put V115 version but it doesn’t work.
Hi great vid ,I’m waiting for my adapter to turn up 👍 what settings did you film the chickens on because if I film at 120 fps it comes out slow motion and if I change settings my picture looks too small
Not really sure what your request is. FPS is Frames Per Second. Most playback will play it at 30 FPS, resulting in "slow motion". Most editing tools give you the ability to speed up higher frame rates, trying to go the other way usually results in poor quality, but saves memory space. When you say "change settings" I've no idea what your changing, but I typically run my rig on "narrow" but it needs to be based on the magnification your scope is set at. Spend some time with your camera, relax and see what the different settings do, and how they impact the footage you collect.
Hi,this is Tom from Georgia.I would like to ask what setting do you have on your Firefly camera on the video resolution.I’m having just a small picture of it not the whole picture. What scope are you using on that camera.appreciate your help!stay safe.thanks
Hello Tom! Welcome to the channel! I use the highest resolution the camera will support at 120 frames per second. But what I think you are asking is what "width" shot is optimal, that answer is narrow, or medium depending on zoom level of the scope, but for me it's nearly always narrow. I also shot most of this video with a Titan by Element which is REALLY nice glass for the money. Have an awesome day!

I found my mic was only recording on the left channel. Perhaps your playback unit only has the right channel? I have since identified the setting on the mic so new content should be much better. I also added a pair a VU meters to my workstation as a further quality check. Thank you for poking the bear!
I have the Sideshot with the phone mount. I had wondered if Orions adapter would work. Your video cleared everything up. Thanks.
Glad I could help
I’m loving the target!!!
Good job!
Thanks for this! Nicely done.
My pleasure!
Thanks your informasion mister

It is a completely stock, original cheap camera. No modifications of any kind.
Thanks for this nicely bro

You're welcome!
Can you get the scope to center a bit better at all or is that the best you can get
It can be messed with till the cows come home. You might improve it some. It's good enough for the girls I date...lol.

Defiantly the HD port.
Hello, what's that sizes of the screws inside the camera case?
I'm having a hard time trying to take them out.

Where did you order the camera from? thank you

giá bộ lăng kính đó bao nhiêu vậy
Tôi không nghĩ rằng anh ấy sản xuất chúng nữa vì các vấn đề về bằng sáng chế. Kiểm tra Side Shot hoặc Eagle Vision.

Scopemate Cam S18 will be a much better and affordable choice
Happy to evaluate one for you and put it on the channel.
I have seen mention of the Scopemate Cam S18 in a few posts, is it available in Australia?
Dealer not yet in Australia, but you can buy online, about 9 days free shipping by China post to Austrilia@@frenzzi00
