Thanks for the feedback. I wasn't sure if people would like this one or not. No real rock crawling, and lots of driving footage. I don't like mud either, but this was a really fun adventure.
@@Grampas-jeep you did a good job telling the story which is the part I like the most. My only suggestion would be maybe a few cut backs to the map along the way just to show the progress.
I've never considered including a map before, but Jeff took a couple of screen shots of the Onx map along the way so we could go back and see how close we were to what we had wanted to find. When those screen shots showed up in the photo dump, that sparked the idea.
I'm not a big fan of mud, but that day turned out to be really fun. We saw some great scenery and different country that we haven't been to before. And we did a great team exercise getting through that one slippery sketchy spot. Thanks fir watching.
Looked like a great day out, would have been a change from over huge rockes, slippery part might have made me change my jock's 😂😅 but Looked a lot of fun, thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Great video, 1st part looks like back of mauna kea, big island, hi.,had my m38, a1 & 80 toyo p up in some fun situations, almost always got mud here, come visit, give me couple mo,s heads up, my babies are all apart!
HaHa! I remember my first lesson on standing too close to a water crossing when a rig came ashore ! I'm glad I went with Jesse on another trail that day, I've become allergic to that desert peanut butter mud.... Yech ! Nice video.
I ended up dumping my Jerry can in just before the end of the trail. Probably more fuel a was burned on the high speed run up the highway to get to the trailhead than on the trail itself where we mostly bump along at low speed and low rpm.. It's about 45 miles from Moab to the Dewey bridge. It's a nice piece of mind thing to have that extra 5 gallons when you head out to the middle of nowhere. Thanks for watching.
Maybe you guys should think about fixing up your Jeeps a little bit before you go out I know they're nice flat fenders but what's the of having them all raggedy
@@joegelencser2571 Shiney or “raggedy” makes no difference on performance and most of us would rather drive them than worry about how they look. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the video recap of a great day! Blake says he did not like all the mud, but has told the story of that day more than any other of EJS2024.
Blake is a tough trooper. Thanks Brian.
I hate the mud, but I really liked this adventure. The intro stuff with the maps and voiceover was great.

Excellent video
Thanks.
That looks like Fun! Of course, I'm a little weird!
I’m not generally a fan of mud, but the combination of beautiful scenery, awesome helpful people and great machines made a messy, but fun day.
J'adore ces balades ...Bravo les gars !! !🤩🤩
Thank you!
@@Grampas-jeep Avec plaisir...
The slippery trail looks ,challenging and fun. Thanks for the ride along!😊

Awesome!!! I love watching these old rigs work!!!
Thanks, Marshall.
Good video looks like you had a great day even with the mud . Thanks Stan
Thanks 👍
Thank you for sharing, what an awesome day, glad it panned out the way that it did. It wouldn’t have been as fun if it had been dry. ❤

Thanks, Don. It was a great day, not what we started out expecting, though.
Always enjoy your adventures!
Thanks
Wow what a great video my respect.
Thanks for the amazing video and adventure Mr Fuller
Thank you.

I hate mud, but man that looked fun!
It was unexpectedly fun. Miss wheeling with you, my friend.
I really enjoyed this one. For me, your best video so far. ❤
Thank you. I wasn't sure about this one because it has no real rock crawling and quite a bit of just road footage. I appreciate the feedback.
my life's dream to do this with one or both of my cj2as, well done ,
Grampa's jeep looks good with wider tires. Too bad the extra width is all mud! 😊😊What a mess.
Hah! Thanks for checking in.
Great video! How much fuel is used on a ride like this?

Do you have a link on where to get the Dana18 lower gear set?
Try vintage jeep. He offers several options. vintagejeeper.com/products-%26-services/ols/products/dana-18-3151-low-range-gear-set
@@Grampas-jeep Thanks!
What an adventure! How many miles was this round trip?
Well, not really sure. Probably 30-ish miles on the dirt. Thanks for watching.
looks like fun
That yapping ankle bitter wouldn't make it across the river if I was with you LOL
How many miles did you end up going? On the map, it's looks like a really long ways.
"There was a fire..."
Cuz bridges normally just BURST into flames.
@@jaredboballen68 I. don’t know the full story of the fire. No doubt a human caused disaster.
Thanks for watching.
That mud is still falling off my CJ.
A forever souvenir of Moab.

Avoidable comedy of errors lol. When they are calling for wet weather stick with the rocks and avoid river crossings and dirt (mud) roads.
Hate to say it but the CAMERA MAN sucked !!! Need more shots than just the RF WHEEL
😉
What 🤷🏻♀️, nobody’s got a compass 🧭? 🫵 😲
Who’s the air force guy and why’s he driving a jeep? 🤷🏻♀️ how many stripes? 🫵 🤪
