Santa stomped. Its literally only due to snoop wank that people think santa lost. He had great bars yeah, but santa was solid high quality from first verse to last while snoop had a slow awkward start then traded off his personal quirks with shizzles and such to earn him fan points rather than battle points.
So I think the reason they chose Snoop was because there was a man named "Moses the Black" who lived a life of causing chaos and beating people(because he was huge) and then went and lived in a monastery where he lived as a devout Catholic monk until a group of raiders came and killed him as he was protecting his brothers(fellow monks) because he was the only one with a real fighting background.
His story is awesome

I disagree with your assertion that Newton's line of "you waste time debating creationists" was out of character. It could very well be Newton telling Bill that the creationist view is the absolute truth, and any time spent trying to disavow God's work creating the world is pointless. The church funded scientific research for much of history because they viewed the sciences as a way to better understand and take care of the gifts God gave the world, so Isaac Newton can flex that the sciences he created were in an effort to better know God.
For the record I'm agnostic and think Bill Nye is a blithering idiot trying to posture himself as a scientific authority. As far as creationists are concerned: you can't have a true debate with someone that is willfully ignorant and nullifies actual evidence in favor of fervor.
Guess Galileo never got the memo about how much the church loves science, or others that were accused of heresy. But I see the Catholic church's whitewashing campaign is still going strong
The Leibniz diss was about Newton being accused of stealing the idea for calculus from a German scientist called Leibniz and passing it off as his own work. Most people agree noe they both invented it independently, but Newton published it first

I don't mind the bias if I understand where it is coming from... perhaps next time interjecting a post-production pause showing the list of grievances against the opponent? Some of us not in America don't have access to all of Bill Nye's TV programs or whatever you have seen to inform your opinion so you just repeating "he's an idiot" kinda doesn't cover it when he's done a lot to get generations of children interested in science and fact. It's hard to comprehend why his brain has turned to mush now? I am being sincere - some of us want to figure out specifically what you were referring to (aside from a bad attempt at making science a "cool TV show" which is difficult for anyone, let's be real 😂).

@@andrewkearley6900 Nye is in a suit battle with Disney over what he was owed for the show and a lot of people think Disney can do no wrong. He's been a part of several ill-thought promotional shows and acts, most of which he was merely contracted for after the idea was had as opposed to coming up with them. He's debated with various "low-brow" individuals like anti-evolutionists, you know them, the ones who like to claim the Earth is less than 10,000 years old, various flat-earthers, and climate change denouncers on several vids and he comes across more as someone who is simply disgusted by the opposing arguments rather than someone actually trying to change their minds. Still, he has said in many interviews that he wants to promote rational and logical thought in people.
@@TheZoenGaming I would just point out that debate is a performance art, and not a way to change your opponent's mind. Often times, it's near impossible to change an opponent's mind, but the people you're trying to engage are the viewers of the debate who are listening to both positions. You're not going to change the mind of an entrenched apologist, but you can make an honest effort to present good information and blow holes in your opponents arguments.

His show was a great thing for kids but most of the bill nye hate comes from the fact he rarely doesn't know science. He's an engineer with very little understanding of science outside his field and yet he tries to claim he's a science guy. He's an actor, not a scientist. Most of his unscripted scientific debates show just how clueless he is when it comes to science. It's the equivalent of taking your science information from Bruce Willis.
To me, Beakman's world was the superior kid's science show. More entertaining to young kids and actually a lot more thought provoking.
I love the pausing it really helps put your personality into the video and it doesnt feeling like youre just stealing the video like other reaction channels.

Harry Potter business was a reference to the fact that Newton was big into the study of alchemy and spent a lot of time trying to find the sorcerer's stone, which comes from alchemy but obviously had a major part in the first Harry Potter.

Man I wish there were more erb's for you to react to. To be honest that's about all I watch on most reaction channels anyway. But out of all of em I enjoy yours the most.
What bothers me about alotta erb reactions. Is there is hardly ever credit been givin to the likeness in which each character is portrayed. Yeah the raps are sometimes wack. But how many of these characters could or would actually rap? Like when they portrayed Justin Beiber. That was a horrible impression in my opinion. But most are very impressive and that they could turn these historical figures into an opportunity to teach, love, hate and talk big shit about history. And Skeem man your a very smart dude. 10:25 Newton indeed created calculus first but because he wanted it to himself he didnt published it, so like two decade after Leibniz also created calculus and Newton claimed he steal it from him, and had the papers to prove it but Leibniz created independently, now Leibniz is also know as the creator of calculus because unlike Hooke which is practically erased from history because Newton used the authority as the president of the royal society... i don't remember why but the couldn't erase him.

Just to add: Yes, Newton knew that the answer to his little calculation was the square root of -1, also known as 'i', but he didn't believe it as that was, at the time, a completely new mathematical concept. Yet reality shows that i must exist because otherwise, pendants would swing forever (which they don't. They will inevitably slow down).

I did like how they incorporated a reference to the i of Imaginary Numbers in the battle. Very useful concept even if called "Imaginary".
I like the addition of the factual annotations to help when you're not sure on something.

Bill Nye's field is more in chemistry and engineering while newton's is in physics, basically this battle doesn't make sense because they should have had physicist vs physicist
Having studied chemistry myself, I can tell you it does involve a lot of physics... Much more than Isaac Newton has ever known about the subject... So Yes, Bill Nye has a BA in Science, but for that he had to study and pass more physics and math than Newton did. 250 more years of science do add up you know.
I was brave enough to look it up for you and this is what I found. (Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz was a German mathematician and philosopher who developed calculus at the same time as Isaac Newton which he was said to have gotten the idea from Newton's letters to him, thus leading them to an argument. Tyson says that Newton betrayed someone who was once his friend and "stuck a knife in his back".)

They had a big beef about who was the "inventor" of Calculus in math and Newton basically bullied him.
All creationists have the same tired apologetics that it doesn't matter which 'smart' or 'dumb' one is chosen for debate. Some are better wordsmiths and that is the literal only difference there. Besides, debates aren't for changing minds nor for changing the mind of an opponent or looking good yourself, debates are for the people in the middle, to try to convince them to see another side of things and learn new perspectives, help them gain more knowledge. If they're done right, that is.

Sir Isaac Newton was really into alchemy(at the time the practice of alchemy was outlawed in England and he did most of his work in secret) and spent a massive part of his life trying to make the philosopher's stone(which according to the spotty references from alchemists around the world wasn't a stone but was a red or yellow liquid, gel or powder) in an attempt to create the formula for transmutation and the potion of life. He also worked for the crown hunting down forgers, counterfeiters and alchemists(probably to eliminate the competition).
This happened. I approve.
The 'Harry Potter business' was Sir Isaac Newton's attempts to discover the philosopher's stone through alchemy.
The first book is 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' (renamed 'Sorcerer's Stone' in the US because the publisher thought that Americans would turn their noses up at a book with the word 'philosopher' in the title), centred around the pursuit of the philosopher's stone, discovered in-universe by real life scribe and manuscript seller Nicolas Flamel, who as a result of his works was rumoured after his death to have really been an alchemist and discovered the philosopher's stone. He never was an alchemist, though, it was just a legend that sprung up because of his writings.
While I agree that Newton won against Nye, I enjoyed NDT the most in the whole video.
Since I haven't really seen people mentiona bout it, the whole "Harry Potter Business" is referring to Alchemy. In his later days, Newton started digging deeper into alchemy and biblical interpretation. Supposedly, he was (like every alchemist on the era) trying to create the infamous "Philosopher Stone" which turns materials into gold blah blah blah there is a whole bunch of stuff to read if you're all ever interested in alchemy.
