Yep year around flower farming in zone 10b as a disabled women in her 40’s with chronic pain. It’s still 80 degrees here. Idk what rest is. Almost looking forward to moving cross country next year because I get to somewhat rest for a month. Really flower farming never stops in any zone if you’re starting seeds and plants indoors when you think about it.
I'm also disabled and a bit older than 40. Kids are gone, its my time and just purchased 10 acres in GA, so scary. Hoping to start a flower farm as well as adding some livestock. Hope you were able to get some rest and hope to find one of your responses soon. This is going to be a challenge but I'm so excited. Doing anything with chronic pain is so extremely difficult, but its what keeps me going. Wishing you well
Thank you! It's 3 degrees and windy here in Western New York today. I'm a former floral designer, love gardening and your video gives me excited anticipation and encouragement of the growing season to come!
That farm tour last year was great, but I’m glad it’s just y’all and Fussell’s-it will be much easier to visit both of y’all, and I love both of your farms. The Sunflower Festival was amazing-it was a huge success, in my opinion. Thanks for all of your hard work. P.S. I’m also a list person-it has to be written down or-poof-it’s forgotten! 😂
When you commit yourself to something their is always plenty to do. I didn't have a list as list was in my head but eventually I wrote them down and now my mind is not cluttered.
That was fantastic Gina great explanations and we are ready for a great 2023 till Thanksgiving loved it. Can't wait for next video so much better then Hanks
I'm from Pennsylvania and I have 30 gardens at memorial Park that I've been doing for 18 to 20 years now I really like the idea of the come and pick your own flowers that is a really good idea talk to you later thank you
I love ❤️ watching your channel because it reminds me of my late mother 👩 who also loved her garden 🪴 and her favourite flowers where roses 🌹 and she also had a rock garden 🪴 as well
I live in Florida!! Not far from Y'ALL!! Just an FYI.... It wasn't until December, close to Christmas when it froze in Florida!! Not October!! Making a friendly correction! Didn't even get to see the sunflowers!! I guess it was the drought that got your garden just like everyone else!!
I agree with the clickbait comment. Why would you want to irk off a first time watcher? Not even going to finish watching and I won’t be back. Shame on you. Gardeners are supposed to be better than that.
I’m sorry you feel this way. If you would have watched the entire video you would understand that I do quit farming for a few months a year. No click bait, just a title😂

You're obviously not quiting flower farming. I'm very glad! I assume you must have meant that you're not selling to market, florists, etc.
