I just love how you capture your audience and keep them interested when telling a story. And more than anything I love how you freely give relevant and educational advice pertaining to such important issues. Keep up the amazing work! ❤❤❤ Oh and PS: I'm looking forward to your feedback on how your "site visit" went 😄
I love these story times. I remember when I rented out my property and it was an epic fail and then I decided I’m not ready for this and I sold it. I’m glad you are here to prepare me because I still want to get into the property business
I agree with you 100% I think L.O should include those laws as well as the Consumer Protection Act, laws the govern leasing and letting out property and laws governing warrenties and guarantees. A child as little as 3 years old already interact with CPA, and for those who will progressing with studying in town and city away from home they will interacting with the law or leasing.
Introduction to laws would actually be great b/c when you say some things I just think they're such simple reasonable facts anyone could've guessed, but it's facts I wasn't aware of before. Thanks for these videos Nicolette🙏🏿
Thank you for sharing your experience Nicolette, with both experiences, it is clear that people will try you. We really need to educate ourselves more in this space. Do you have any recommendations on a book that can help me to understand the benefits of buying properties as a company (instead of buying as an individual)?
I don't know many books that go into the contractual laws. Would be interesting to write a simplified one of the different clauses, what the cpa says and all that. Maybe hey
Happy belated 10th - Every day is a blessing . . . Trust is works out in terms of law and may you have more fruitful investments & relations - learnt we're usually taken advantage of due to lack of knowledge in terms of either law , protocol or structure etc. - We all find our way though . . . Stay blessed
Wow sho, that is so true. We need to know the law and I am also going to start educating myself on the law. Surely white most white people still take us for granted. Thank you so much Nicol for sharing this.
I've had a lot of such buying my last 2 properties. Babe, I dig through the OTP before signing and make sure I avoid bridging the contract. Unfortunately people don't understand the law. The last seller tried to cancel the sale after I paid the transfer fees and deposited the cash to the transfer attorneys account. No ways, I demanded they either pay their due for bridge of contract and they could not stomach that. After they decided to proceed they did not wat to pay rent after registration. I don't play games, I was about to evict them and walla they pay my rent. The property game is not for the faint hearted.
The reason for that is that series called devilsdorp which was about the cult happening in Krugersdorp lol watch it on showmax so that you can understand 😅
Give Nicolette an expensive beverage of her liking... She didn't take the BS laying down. These people were trying to take advantage, fortunately for most "black people", they'd knocked on the wrong door. I'm hoping they've learnt a good and hard lesson...
TV Poppie part killed me there. I got a reasonable advice on selling property sis'wam. Thank you for sharing this information sis'wam
