Hey Adam glad you guys made it to Colo Golden is only 60 miles from where I live. I hope you have a great time while in Colo there is a lot to see here.
Your weather was fabulous and the view was stunning. And of course you would have a car alarm go off while you were filming. I was waiting for a lawnmower to start up. LOL... Thanks for sharing...Vic
If it's not car alarms or mowers, it's going to be people loudly talking about random things. I was at some of the most beautiful and peaceful places to see and when trying to capture some video to share I had people around me talking so loudly about their personal shit back home I was getting annoyed.
So so beautiful and sweet up there in Golden Colorado. I Love it up there. I so enjoyed this beautiful video. Thank you so so much for sharing. This video means so much to me.
I’m enjoying your travels in Colorado. I was born there near the areas you are exploring and spent my first 50 yrs. there. You will love it. Can’t wait to see you and the elk in Estes Park.
Thanks for taking us along on your vacation out in CO. Nice to be able to vacation from my recliner & leave the driving to you guys. Love your Adventures, Adam !
Welcome to Colo. If you get down to Cripple Creek or Victor area there is a nice little Museum in Victor that has a old time machine shop set up line shaft type equipment.
There were many Black Bear in the late 60's near the top of Lookout Mountain but population has since, driven most of them out of the area. It was neat to ascend the mountain and watch them roaming around eating wild berries and watch them watching me.
No offense, Adam, but it's always refreshing to hear how much you flatlanders love our high country. This is all I've ever known, so I take it for granted. Thanks for your perspective, sir!
Dude! I group up off of 38th and Wadsworth in Lakewood just East of Golden. I ride my dirt bike up above Central City on the Jeep trails all the time. I'm Glade you guys are having fun. 👍
Glad to see you two in CO! Hope you enjoy! I grew up and live here. Would be awesome if I could have meet up and greeted you guys to Colorado. It would be awesome to buy you guys a beer!!!
I grew up there... use to go horse back riding on Table top mountain when I was a kid. Nice to see places from home . My favorite is Estes Park ❤️ beautiful place!!! Vail is also another great place!! We use to go to Coors for lunch hour when I was in High School... ha....ha....😂 we use plan party’s at tunnel #1 ... #2.... or tunnel #3.... back in the day
My favorite places are Ouray, Silverton, and Durango. Durango has steam trains and you can tour the round house with the machine shop. Enjoy your trip.
Adam sorry I missed you in co.I have gone tubing in Golden with the grandchildren. The watewr is cold.We were at Estes Park and Pikes peak this year.A lot of the places you listed we have been there. We love it in co so much to seeand do Will Smith
Welcome to Colorado Adam and Abby, I’ve lived here for 88 years. Go to Marble if you get the chance, best time mid to late September. The Aspen are great at that time of the year.
If you are ever near Colorado Springs again you should visit The Dragonman, Mel Bernstein. He's got a machine shop, machine guns, machinery in general.
Mt. Evans. Went there. At the time we went it was the highest PAVED road in the USA...14,265' above sea level. When we were there it was 102F in Denver, when we got to the top of Mt. Evans we had snow below us, and it was 48F. I'm one of the few people that gets the round "marathon" type sticker that reads 14,265...Looks like you two had a blast. I'm closing in on retirement, and I think I want to start going back to some of these places. Halfway up Mt. Evan's there used to be a restaurant. It was AMAZING. Had some of the best buffalo burgers there (half pounders, and they were CHEAPER (35~40 years ago), than beef burgers were.
Shame on you Adam, you didn't visit the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, still you can't please all the people all of the time!!! With its mining heritage Colorado had many 3foot narrow gauge railroads including of course, two trailroads which are now tourist heritage lines, the Durango & Silverton and the Cumbres and Toltec. Its almost as good as Wales with its profusion of two foot gauge railways!
Welcome to Golden! Lived here all my life.
Fun stuff and beautiful landscape 👍
Enjoyed your video. Don't know why. I lived in Golden just east of Coors for 11 years. Have fun.
Wonderful area. Your faces reveal your enjoyment. You have earned it! Thanks.

Ahh the mountains! Roads actually look pretty good!
Many of them are pretty good yea, some places they are rough. You can tell they get tore up because of the winters.
There's a really cool train ride that you can take in Leadville. Take it for sure!
No offense, Adam, but it's always refreshing to hear how much you flatlanders love our high country. This is all I've ever known, so I take it for granted. Thanks for your perspective, sir!

My best friend lived in Golden for ten years. He worked at the Coors brewery.
My favorite places are Ouray, Silverton, and Durango. Durango has steam trains and you can tour the round house with the machine shop. Enjoy your trip.
Wow kids, for a minute I thought you might have ended up at the Bates Motel. Colorado looks well populated. Enjoy.

Still the happiest couple for miles around.
Oh my God road was a lot more fun when it was super narrow.
Nice!!

Had I known y'all were in town we'd have treated you to dinner at the Fort restaurant where we live just up the road in Morrison.
nice to see your travels of the USA, I'm from Canada never been down south.
I went to school in Denver. I would go up to the Coors plant and the visitors center and drink free beer. They got to know me pretty well!
No grass = no lawn mower, so guess car alarm will have to do. You two have fun.
This is my next stop lookout mountain, i go to Fraser and winter park.
Is that a Tiguan? Those things are pretty zippy. I love my VW when it works hahahaha if the check engine light isn't on it's probably broken
You took "Oh My God" road from Idaho Springs to Central City. Not for the squeamish or faint of heart. LOL
Hey Abbey & Adam,
What!!???!! No 'requisite' photos of Buffalo Bill Cody's gravesite??? LOL!
Ken
If I remember correctly at one point Coors started making abrasives and they make the abrasives for Spyderco there in Golden CO.
If I went to Golden it would only be to go to the Spyderco factory.
The ride up Pikes Peak ?????
Mesa Verde is awesome...
check the pheonix mine instead of argo - pheonix is still a working mine
We’re already back from our vacation.
The Coors brewery is FREE and you get 3 FREE beers, you guys should have went!
Gods country.
Golden was nicer before it modernized. Nice town, Coors tour, quilt museum, School of Mines, foothills.
Three words that will change your life:. Colorado Green Chili. Try Santiago's. You can thank me later. :-D
Adam if you can stop by and see my shop!! You're gonna be like 1000 ft from me!
Where are you located? We're already back from our trip.
@@AbomAdventures I was the one that e mailed you, Calvin. Sucks I missed you guys. Hope to meet you sometime in the future.
Also...you could spend all your vacations in Colorado and still not see everything!
Lack of elevation change is what I hate about Florida - It's just too damn flat. I like mountains and valleys that's why I live in Arizona.

Why didn't you guys take your camper, lot more fun than flying .....
Don't you just love how the airlines/airports have improved efficientcy! NOT.
It's beautiful to see there are still parts of European America, unspoiled by multiculturalism.
