Civic center Park as they close it every so often for cleaning due to homeless!!! Hit the Library s 7th floor for great view of the mountains and the Capitol has also a great view of the mountains

You need to hike Green Mt or South Table Mt in Golden at night!!! Skip Lodo it's a tourist trap and way overpriced
I'm a Denver native! You hit some great spots like Union Station, Denver Central Market, and Red Rocks! Glad you guys had a great time here!

But need to get out of Yuppyville Lodo and check out the suburbs...why do all these videos ignore the best parts of the metro areas

When you re through with Lodo and Rino overpriced tourist Trap try Wrigley's Field Sports bar beer great drinks good affordable and great food!!! Just a short walk from the end of the W line and down underneath the underpass bike trail to Colfax!!! And don't hike around Red Rocks itself do Dakota Ridge ( the ridge across from Red Rocks easy and goes to the Dinosaur footprints

From a native, Red Rocks is in MORRISON, not Denver! But, still an awesome place to take in if you can. Also, Lookout Mountain in Golden.

The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals is in Denver and so is the Colorado Supreme Court but the building on the other end of Civic Center Park is Denver City Hall not a court.

Hi! question looking to visit here with my bf in the month of May and i was wondering around what month this way taken as i know little to nothing about the climate or season there .. should i pack light clothes for the it being around May?
We visited in August! May should be perfect springtime weather I believe!
Just carry a jacket cause there can be a great drop of temperature anytime like 50+ degrees!!! In metro Denver weather is decent today apr 15 it should be 65 or so degrees but lows at night in about mid 30rds F
@cottoncandyflake: Your trip has already passed, but for others reading this. In May (especially in late May) you should be fine with a light jacket. That said, Denver can throw you a curveball in May. It could actually snow. It doesn't happen every May, but it could happen. If it does snow in May, it is a light dusting. The snow will either melt as it hits the ground, that same day, or by the next day for sure. May is generally a warm month...... July, and August can be incredibly hot.
Is there a way to get to the Red Rocks Amphitheater using public transportation? I'm visiting soon, staying in downtown and I won't have a vehicle. Advice? Great video BTW.
Negative From Denver you take highway 6 west about 10 miles and you reach the town of morrison aka Red Rocks in 20-30 mins. If you did do Public it'd take you 2 hrs from Union Station.
18485 W Colfax Ave, Golden, CO 80401 is the hotel s address!!! So you could also take an Uber say from W line Lightrail terminus in Golden!!! Don't know price
