As I reside in Los Angeles, NO ONE pays attention to my standard horn at all. This high db horn is a welcome change to something realistic. I just bought this horn kit from College Honda, and my body shop will install it for $153. The reason I am doing this is, College Honda's pdf on installation calls for R & R of the bumper. I spoke with the tech and he said this is Honda's procedure. I don't want to break parts as due to an incident last year the bumper assy was new.
Cool!! I went through the bottom access panel vs the fog light cover to install my horns. It was quite easy. I also kept both horns, and ran the second horn through a fuse & relay. Now it sounds like 2 cars honking and really gets attention!!!!
Install is a bit tighter with upgraded intercooler and charge pipe but you can put a bend in the new bracket and still make it fit. Horn wire polarity doesn't matter.
Was waiting for this video! Last month I held my horn when an old man almost backed into me in a parking lot, solid 10 seconds and he still couldn't hear it. He only stopped when someone walking by slapped the back of his car to get his attention.🤦♀
Thank you aounds good but when temoving that bolt dont disconnect things that may have to be maitenanced later.. Next time use the socket and the socket wrench without the extention or just use a wrench in there cus somrtimes removing parts can cause things to crack or seals to not align perfect again just fyi..
Chris, also, in another vid you posted, I realized that after removing the "garnishes" it is better to install those fog light vinyl covers to the fog lamps. While you are replacing the horn and stuff.
How do you unbolt the intercooler pipe bolts the 10mm theyre like welded on tigjt or something, isnt there anyway I can reach the horn without the pipes??
I Purchased my first civic in june and when i used the horn for the first time when someone cut me up i said to myself WTH is that from post man pats van? It was embarrassing but funny at the same time 😆
Did you disconnect the battery first or remove the horn fuse? When I did this, it seems like the horn was blown. I've tried attaching the plugs on the harness 2 different ways and no change. I got the same one you did from college hills Honda.

I just did this and found it much easier to fit the horn in by taking the whole existing horn bracket off. Try it!

You had to run an additional wire to the fuse box to have 2 horns.?

Can you tell us how to do that? Also, what is the right connector to use?

I think the meep meep is a Japanese small car thing. I swear it literally is the same on civics, and Corolla etc

What kind of connector did you use? You don’t have a link for that. Just the horn.
I got sick speed horn for my 2018 Honda Civic they are really loud it’s a two horn system
Does it matter that the horn is not pointing towards the front of the car?
I only use my horn like once a year tho since I don't live in the city 😂 Good upgrade tho!

When i first got my civic and tried out the horn I laughed pretty hard lol. But do you think it's possible to install a train horn to the civic?
Very possible, but some fabrication would be needed and you'd have to sacrifice some interior/trunk space for the air system.
Does that lip fit on non hatchback models , like just the regular civic sport sedan
The Si has the most arrogant horn, big trucks are surprised when a civic is honking at them.
