I love the wave to the tower on the way out of SDL! A lot of pilots forget air traffic controllers are people just like everybody else and a little wave to say thanks is awesome, I absolutely love it.🙌🏼
Dude - Please don't apologize for the time it takes to create something worth watching! Your stuff is nicely done; you're getting better and better; your content is among the best out there. I learn stuff from each vid that I wasn't expecting, they're nicely paced and never boring. (All that sets you apart in a big way, my friend!) So keep it up, and go at whatever pace serves your well-prioritized life!
No worries when the videos come out because all good things come to those who wait. Enjoyed the video and looking forward the next. Take care and be safe.
Great stuff there. I had many landings at GJT back in my business flying days. Hillsboro-in the middle of sugar beet country and the Red River of the North valley- flat as a pancake. The railroad through there is the BNSF Hillsboro Subdivision, originally built by the Great Northern Railroad. Many grain trains originate from this area destined to Pacific Northwest ports and eventually to Asian countries as they need our grain to feed their people.
I lived and worked in Grand Forks from 2010 to 2020 (now live and work in the Twin Cities area). Flown in and out of GFK several times. Always with busy with UND traffic. Just discovered your channel a few days ago and it's great!
I love every one of your videos!! And especially the combination of GA and professional flying. I have been light sport pilot for two years now and love every bit of the community.
Your videos are awesome. Love your videos your demeanor and your life as a pilot. I live in Oro Valley Arizona near Tucson. I fly the cirrus SR22 Turbo in simulation
Always enjoy your videos, Ern! You are a professional aviator, so you can walk the talk. I like your humble approach to flying. I'll fly with you any day on Southwest.
Welcome Ern! Nice to see you in this position! Variety is fantastic to follow....really enjoyed it again Ern;)) Much thank...fly safe and have a great week!! Warm regards....Betsy....

Your such a cool pilot ern I was watching how you turn the yaw damper on after 3000 feet but I was wondering on the 737 is the yaw damper on all the time or after takeoff and then off for landing or is it checklist or pilot discretion in the 737.
Big Ern! Thanks so much for putting this content out there, I always learn a lot by watching your videos. I was wondering if you could let me know what led to your decision to buy the Cirrus. I’m currently finishing up my PPL and looking to buy a plane for work. We will fly about 300 miles each way to and from our two offices a couple times a month and I can’t decide which aircraft would be best. We have considered SR22 and Cessna 182. I’m sure there are others to consider as well but we have just started our search. FYI most of my hours will be in a 172N while training. Thanks for the help ahead of time.
After your landing at Grand Junction, you mentioned at 7 - 3 sight picture. I’m not familiar with that reference… could you expand or share a link that explains?
Hey Ern, Any reason why you didn't bother going into the flight levels? Were the winds not favorable, do you deem it too dangerous or have some other reason?
Great flight, beautiful scenery as always! Thanks for sharing. Happy Father's Day as well! How is your daughter's flight training coming along? My daughter is 8 and she wants to get into it, but I think its only because she sees me do it lol. Either way...I'll take it🤣. Aim High Fly-Fight-Win

It’s been great Zachary! You really have to partner with someone you explicitly trust. Sam could be a better partner and friend. And with a partner you can get more plane. Without him I would have purchased an older G5. Best of luck!👍🏽

Today is Friday, June 25, 2021. It is now around 12:11 a.m. MDT., here, in Sandy, Utah, (about 10 miles South of Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah). I live in Sandy, Utah. I love airplanes. Today, I just barely bought tickets to fly on Southwest Airlines, from Salt Lake City, Utah to Phoenix, Arizona, for Wednesday, September 1, 2021, where I will catch Southwest Airlines Flight Number 4916, which departs from Salt Lake City, Utah at 8:55 a.m., MDT and arrives in Phoenix, Arizona at 9:35 a.m. MST, and then I also bought tickets to go see The Arizona Diamondbacks MLB, (Major League Baseball), Team play against The San Diego Padres, MLB Team which will be at Chase Field, in Phoenix Arizona, and that game will be on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, and it will start at 12:40 p.m. MST. I will be setting at Section 302, Row 2, Seat 11. After the game gets over, I will go back to the Airport, and then I will catch South West Airlines Flight Number 4132, which will depart from Phoenix, Arizona at 8:35 p.m. MST and arrive at Salt Lake City, Utah International Airport at 11:05 p.m., MDT.. So the point of this comment is I will get to fly on air planes, on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Big Ern, if you read this comment, maybe you can TRY and sign up to pilot either Southwest Airlines Flight 4916 from Salt Lake City, Utah to Phoenix, Arizona, which will be from 8:55 a.m. Salt Lake City's time, on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, and arrive in Phoenix, Arizona at 9:35 a.m., Phoenix, Arizona's time, or maybe you can pilot The Southwest Airlines Flight Number 4132 which will depart from Phoenix, Arizona, on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at 8:35 p.m. Phoenix, Arizona Time and arrive at Salt Lake City, Utah at 11:05 p.m. Salt Lake City, Utah time, so that I can meet you, in person, and if you want to, you can purchase tickets for The Arizona Diamondbacks Baseball Game, at Chase Field, in Phoenix, Arizona, which will start at 12:40 p.m., Phoenix, Arizona Time, for near section 302, Row 2. I am not forcing you, to, but I am only suggesting this to you, so that I can fly on the same plane, that you pilot, and meet you, but it is up to you. It is your choice. Thank you. Thanks. Have a GREAT day, night, and week. Heavenly Father/God, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Ghost loves you and are your best Friends you will always have. Smile and be happy. Bye.
My comments largely echo the others in terms of how great your videos are. Personally, I would rather see this kind of video over the jet stuff. Daily or weekly videos aren't necessary.
