Thank you for writing the actual names of the airports and not just the ICAO codes like other aviation UA-camrs, so helpful for immediately understanding the context of where you are!
Love it! MSFS/FSX junkie with over 2500hrs. That is my favourite area to fly! Watched a PWA737-200 come in expecting them to come in from the North… Nope… He came in flying IN the valley from the East/Nelson, hard bank to the left and landed right on the numbers at the SAME TIME he went wings level! AWESOME!
Subbed! Nice flight and thx for having ATC/radio audio. Dad flew Air Ambulance in Regina Saskatchewan and had close to 17000 hours. I have 1605 hours ................MSFS though. I can talk to controllers etc. via Vatsim and fly IFR with charts. I am going to recreate this flight. Thanks
@WhiskeyKiloKilo It's a bit hit or miss, as controllers can sign out at anytime. Then it's VFR again. NOT Ideal, but fun when it works well. I just bought Beyondatc which is close to real controllers, because you talk to an AI bot. Voices are pretty good as well, but there are some glitches. Cheers
Thanks! Very nice ride and nice aircraft too, but I couldn't identify it. I am a flight simmer and recently landed at Grand Forks. I was doing a cross western Canada tour and Castlegar was close by but didn't stop in. Will have to do that soon. I was flying a caravan in the sim at the time.
I like your layout of the GTN-750 further down on the radio stack. Lets you rest your arm on the prop controls in turbulence, My mistake was to put it higher up. What JPI unit is that on top, must not be primary since you still have your original engine instruments. P337H N4FZ. Thanks
@@WhiskeyKiloKilo My plane has about 1400 TT with a 400A. I am very pleased with it. If I had my perfect autopilot it would be a 400B with the control head. My friend had a 400B in his 340 and removed it for a 55X. The 55X did not work as well as th 400b. He regretted making that change. Thanks for reply!

I just ticked over 660 hrs in MSFS. This stop is a regular for me as well.
Great vid! Subscribed!
Very nice, this view made me feel as if I were sitting in the co-pilot's seat.

I just discovered your channel. Cool! The first thing I thought was, "Bird Dog" from Bat*21 (1988). 😀
@@incub8 yeah there’s some cool O2/skymaster scenes in that movie

@@md83driver5 thanks. It’s the JPI EDM 790. I like the panel but hope to add a modern autopilot one day

A wind from the north east would really complicate that approach.
