    Excellent advice. Weight distribution is rarely talked about when teaching but it's very important.

    I feel what makes heel flips "easier" is the feeling of solid balance. I have more of my foot on the deck and use more heelside of my tail to create an opposing pressure. My pop gives a slight curl into my heel and a flick straight out - sucks up to my feet every time.

    4:27 This is the Secret Sauce basically any flip.
    Lift your Knee Up enough for your Foot to Reach the NOSE of the Board, ALL THE WAY PASSED THE TRUCK SCREWS!
    Bend your Ankle Inward and let the NOSE of the Board smack the Side of your Foot and Push it even further Inward.
    WITHOUT ADJUSTING YOUR FOOT, Point your Knee Straight Foward, and Push it FORWARD OVER THE NOSE OF THE BOARD.
    You want your Knee to be Bent at a Sharp Angle that MAKES YOUR LOWER LEG POINT BEHIND YOU, AWAY FROM THE BOARD.
    While Lifting Up your Knee THE ENTIRE TIME, You want to Very Quickly Unbend your Knee to about a 90 Degree Angle while Kicking your Foot in a way that:
    YOUR FOOT KICKS DOWN TOWARDS THE GROUND WHILE YOUR KNEE GOES UP THE ENTIRE TIME CREATING THAT BEAUTIFUL ARC AT 4:27.

    awesome! i have regular heelflips figured out, but for fakie heelflips i flip them way too fast. So I must be flicking too much along the x axis.

    So I was taught to hang my toes over the toe side edge of the board and roll the side of my foot up and off the corner of the board where the nose starts. I have also heard people talking about how they actually use their toes to heelflip. I think cupsole shoes make heelflips easier than vulcanized shoes because cupsoles tend to be beefier on the back side of the shoe right below the ball of your ankle is...if that makes any sense.

    • @crkrcksteady
      @crkrcksteady Місяць тому

      I think you are doing some of those heelflips with your toes, like I was saying in my comment above.

    • @Lxwlife
      @Lxwlife Місяць тому +1

      I hear people say they use their toes to heelflip too, but I feel like it is due to a lack of better words.
      Everyone that I watch who says that ends up heelflipping with the side of their foot between the heel and pinky toe, like right next to the knuckle of the pinky toe. I'm not sure if this part of the foot has a name.
      Thinking about using the toes to
      heelflip helps me land them better, but my toe never touches the board, it's always that side part. The most important part of almost any fliptrick though is getting your foot all the way to nose before you flip. All the way passed all 4 bolts!
      The way I taught myself to heelflip that works best for me, is I hang my toes over the edge of the board like you, but I pretend I'm doing a kickflip while keeping my foot on the heel side of the board at all times, even during the kick, and I intentionally let the board cock my foot back and make my knee bend and point my leg towards the tail when I pop just like he describes in the video at 4:27. My foot gets bent back like that when I kickflip and it makes them level out so good when I kick.
      For some reason, for me personally, this is the only way I can actually catch some nice flat(opposite of rocket) heelflips pretty high off the ground, like above my waist.

    今回も、マニアックで面白いですよ、今回の解説では触れてなかったけど、ヒール乗れない人に良く聞かれる事で、ヒール回して着地すると、板が身体の後ろに行ってしまうのって何でですかね?質問されるけど解消方法が分からないんで機会があったら検証してみて下さい。

    • @Lxwlife
      @Lxwlife Місяць тому

      The answer is usually because they are leaning their body away from the board too much.
      When they jump, it is not up and down. It has a small sideways motion which makes them not land on the board.
      Board behind my body, usually means they are leaning their body too far forward which makes them land in front of the board.
