Thats ALWAYS been my nemesis......the pause!!! I literally have to extra focus on POP! PUASE, THEN FLICK!!. It truly is the secret sauce for sick heelflips. You aint kidden Brother. Thank you.
I wish I could send you the clip I just made of this specific “recipe” one of my normal heel. And then one me trying the new way. Holy cow man. New favorite noise. The pop noise, the foot catch noise(which is absolutely new to me due to this video) and the land ride away noises haha.
Dude thank you so much I’m doing way better I’m so close to landing a heel flip thank you so much this was the first video I’ve ever watched of you and you just got and easy bother sub
another tip is to not flip with your heel. I know that its called a heelflip but when I flip with my heel it just gets in the way. flick with your pinky toe. anyways really great vid bro
everytime i do a heelflip or nollie heelflip my board turns 90 degrees. like with heelflip it does almost a inward heelflip and same thing with nollie heelflips. any tips to keep my board straight?
My problem is my back foot lands infront of my board, can flip it every time an land front foot, I’ll try the more weight over front foot! I also noticed my upper torso slightly turns frontside meaning I’m landing infront with back foot!!
It seems like I'm an anomaly. I do ALL my tricks way different, but I make them work somehow. For my heelflips, I need to have my front foot dead center of the deck with very minimal toe hang. My back foot close to a normal ollie position and with 60% of my weight on it. I don't know how it works for me, but I just ninja kick it off the side of my foot and it sucks up to my feet every time. My kickflips, on the other hand, are atrocious.
