Howdy Folks! Thanks for taking the time to watch! Let me know what your favorite character is, what you're looking forward to, and what changes you'd like to see. Wishing you all the best! -Dog Dad
It's such an impressive game, and I've fallen in love with it almost instantly. Everything feels so fluid, and I never realize how long the games can actually end up going because I'm having fun. Which, I'm pretty sure I haven't said about any MOBA game for a while now (unless I'm playing Bard on League of Legends.) So far I love Haze and Kelvin, but I'm also getting into Wraith. This game is such a breath of fresh air, and I'm so fuckin glad it popped up when it did... Most of my friends hate League and/or outright hate the MOBA style of games as a result of RIOT's crapshow, but Deadlock has been changing people's minds.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this! I couldn't agree more with the feeling of fluidity. I've never played either of those characters, so I'll try them out today : ). That's awesome to hear people are trying it out, why not right? Valve usually has a vision for where they want to take a project, so I'm cautiously optimistic. Hope everything is well!
Looks like they're taking elements from TF2, Overwatch, and Counter-Strike (the shop). I haven't tried it, but I don't see anything that really stands out as unique or new. Is it just the sum being better than the parts?
Howdy! Thanks for taking the time to write this question! That’s a great point, and one I kind of glossed over in the video; about how Deadlock doesn’t revolutionize anything, but refines it ( I say rejuvenate in the video, but I kind of wish I edited that word out). It has a lot from those games you mentioned, and it has enough on its own that I have to agree that it’s about the sum of parts, more than what stands out as “new.” And it’s still in testing, so all of it is subject to change as well. I know I’ve been having fun with it, but I think I get a lot out of it for more than one reason. All the best, Dog Dad
Adding competitive solo queue to the game inevitably makes the community toxic. It's not about the game but the way the human mind functions. When we are frustrated, we want to find a villain to blame and be mad at. And we can all agree that flaming your team is easier that accepting your mistakes. Therefore anyone who reads this, please don't flame anyone for making mistakes or even being bad at the game. They are just trying to have fun and you are the one ruining it.

Much more put together and rationale thinking than I gave it, thank you!
They forgot to actually make the game fun.
Can you explain more?
You remind me of a friend who played one game, got steamrolled, and declared the game bad.
