    This is the most comprehensive review/ walkthrough of the Tuttle twins history book. Thank you so much! I am going to order the pack too. I think my kids will love it and I want to read it just on my own even

    Thank you! I ordered both history books thinking it was a curriculum type format. When I got it in, I liked it but was tempted to set it aside and order “real curriculum” and just use this as a resource. But then my budget conscious self decided to just give it a go and see if we can make it work. Seeing how you plan to use it is such a help!

    So glad you did this video. I have a ton of their books and did not know about this one. Grabbed to use with my 3rd grade homeschooler in the Fall.

    Gréât vidéo. We bought this as well after seeing you sharing about trying it in a previous video! Excited for it even though we have more than enough for the next school year already. Lol.

    More or how you will use this and incorporate the Evan Moore packets for lessons.
    Bought the book on amazon and I don’t think it came with additional info you were saying we can print out.

      I don’t think you get the extra items if you only purchase the book on Amazon hut you could email Tuttle twins and see. I’m still trying to figure it all out and will be sharing videos soon!

    Hi - I saw your other video where you were also considering notgrass star spangled story. Can you share why you picked Tuttle twins and not notgrass? Thanks a ton for your extremely helpful reviews!

    • @gatheredandgroundedhomeschool
      @gatheredandgroundedhomeschool  Рік тому +9

      Notgrass was too “textbook” and way more in-depth than what I was looking for this year. Maybe in older graders ☺️

    • @tanyacagle2423
      @tanyacagle2423 4 місяці тому +1

      We have not grass and I couldn’t use it for first grade because it’s was also too in depth too. I’ll be using this one possibly for 2nd grade and not grass for 3rd or 4 th. For first grade I believe all they need is read aloud

    We have been reading through their book series and watching the correlating videos which my kids love. I've been eyeing this one for a while but haven't found many reviews, so thank you. What age group do you recommend this for?

    • @gatheredandgroundedhomeschool
      @gatheredandgroundedhomeschool  Рік тому +4

      It’s seems written at the same level as the book series, I would say maybe 2nd - 6th grade would be an ideal range

    What items do you use to make your printed pdf books? Like What do you use to laminate and spine them? I like the way yours look compared to mine.

    Also do you have your girls do some sort of typing program or something that they do on a computer/online? I wanted to try and find something like that for my to be 3rd grader. Any suggestions?

    • @gatheredandgroundedhomeschool
      @gatheredandgroundedhomeschool  Рік тому +1

      We haven’t ever used an official computer program. They have just slowly learned as we do random assignments. I actually just partnered with a brand that has an elementary computer class that I’ll be sharing and reviewing soon!

    For the Tuttle twins print out, What size spine did you use to fit all 200 sheets?

      I have talked about it here and there. I love it as a reading book, but I wouldn’t consider it a curriculum. 😊

    Is this something my high schooler could work through with my third grader? Kind of like a family style “curriculum “ I am thinking my older daughter would clean a lot from working through it with my youngest. Or maybe I’m way off 😅 would love to hear back! Thanks for your content!!

    • @gatheredandgroundedhomeschool
      @gatheredandgroundedhomeschool  11 місяців тому

      Yes you can, it’s more of a story, think of it has a read aloud book - just bigger. There are good points for all ages. Your older kid will understand the more in depth concepts

    I bought this and then looked o er everything and was like "where's the schedule". 😂 I'm so bad about doing that stuff myself. I'm still excited about it, but kinda wish they included an *idea*. I guess we will read a little and do an activity? See how it goes?

    These books are biased and don't really teach accurate history

    • @gatheredandgroundedhomeschool
      @gatheredandgroundedhomeschool  4 місяці тому

      Most history books are biased - they are retelling events from someone’s perspective

      @@gatheredandgroundedhomeschool that's why it's good to find sources that are the least biased and even tell the stories of each side, to understand each side . This isn't is and they are very conservative pushed. Especially when it comes to politics, there's a lot of inaccuracies
