We used tgtb preschool prep to solidify any gaps between prek and K with my twin girlies when they were almost 5 back in 2020 and I was just wanting to make sure they had their basics before starting K. This is really more what this mini unit is geared for so it definitely makes sense that it wasnt really enough for a full year of pre k. With my son though, tgtb preschool curriculum is much more along the lines of a full year's (or maybe 6-8 ish months) long course. There are 90 lessons and it teaches colors, numbers, letters, and letter sounds, cutting, and some handwriting basics including pencil grip. So far it's been enough to not have to outsource other materials but we are only about 40 lessons in so we'll see how I feel after we finish at the end of the summer. Thanks for videos and for sharing your life with us. There are several resources I love now that I wouldn't have found if it hadn't been for your channel.😊
I am such an advocate for those workbooks. I tutor and teach foundational reading and I tell parents they can use those workbooks and it really will work.
Learn to read book was so great! Loved using it with Michael... Elemental Phonics was great too... we will be going into level 3 of Elemental phonics. So great!
100 easy lessons just seemed so complicated for us. We used Abeka handbook for reading along with bob books. I also didnt care for math with confidence. Didnt work for us and was too slow for my kiddo. I switched to math mammoth and we love!
We love Bob Books! It taught my middle to read and it's been awesome for my youngest. We are also doing Hooked on Phonics app with the workbooks. It's so good. We also are doing their Hooked in Math that is free with the reading app.
Honestly All About Reading level 1 is so great for reading. We struggle with 100 easy lessons for the same reason that it didn’t translate into any regular books.
I agree! We love AAR. On level 3 now. I just prep like 20 activities in advance, so we're not having to cut stuff during the lesson. Makes it open and go.

That’s awesome!
Thanks for this video! Btw, I think you’d love Math Mammoth once he gets to 1st grade! It’s open and go and has a ton of extra resources.
I will definitely check it out! Thank you ❤️

Great wrap up! With the elemental phonics I recommend adding in her audio version. The audio helped us so much.
Yes! Thank you ❤️

I’ve been so back and worth with getting this….I did try the rereading level and didn’t love it but have level 1 in my cart 😬

We loved Alpha Phonics.
Not flashy but very effective. I recommend following it to the T, the teacher/parent instruction is at the back of the book.
@@gatheredandgroundedhomeschool pre reading is completely different!!
